With only two more dates left on Drake ‘s Club Paradise run, it was announced on Tuesday (June 19) that Drizzy’s tourmate, 2 Chainz, will be joining Nicki Minaj on the North American leg of her Pink Friday Tour . The two first hooked up on Nicki’s “Beez in the Trap” single earlier this year, but their relationship actually dates back to around 2008, when the both were on the road with Lil Wayne. “I’ve known Nicki for a minute; I met her on the I Am Music Tour, the first leg with Wayne,” 2 Chainz told MTV News in April. “It was cool, we had a great relationship, we used to talk, trip out here and there.” “He’s an amazing dude, very hard worker,” Nicki told us in April. Their camaraderie was evident in the “Beez in the Trap” video as Minaj shared a dance with the Atlanta MC. Nicki has been known to give lap dances to guests during her shows, so don’t be surprised if she and Tity Boi share a special moment or two when they hit the road in Chicago on July 16. The news comes a day after 2 Chainz and Drake dropped their video for “No Lie.” The rising single is the first off his upcoming solo debut Based on a T.R.U. However, Primatologist's discovered a low rate of Chimpanzee injuries and deaths in Bossou. After studying the area they found the small groups of male Chimpanzees successfully deactivating traps set to catch wildlife. “Mostly, the chimps grasped the snare stick with their hands, shaking it violently until the trap broke. Sometimes a chimp lightly knocked the sapling that holds the snare, before grasping it to break the trap. But in all cases, they avoided touching the dangerous part, the wire loop. In the video above, chimp can be seen seeking out and inspecting snares, without breaking them. “-BBC Primatologists say this has changed the way they understand Chimpanzee can learn, since before they thought the animals only used trail and error. Stating the Chimpanzee's might have learnt from observation and passed down information through generations. The trailer features quick shots of T.I. performing, then transitions into a footage of a cassette melting as we hear a brand new record from the release, “Back to the Trap.” “Welcome back to the trap, and back to the grind,” he raps on the chorus of the record. “I’m back on my hustle with an immaculate shine / Welcome back to the trap, we back to the streets/ Homie, right after I release, see me right back with the heat/ Welcome back to the trap, and back to the grind/ I’m back on my hustle with an immaculate shine/ Welcome back to the trap/ I’m back on my sh–/ This the sh– that you missin’, you’ll be right back on my d—/ Welcome back to the trap.” This week, Tip not only announced the title of his forthcoming official LP, King Uncaged (due August 24), but he also revealed his mixtape was coming soon. Radio host says he’ll bring his ‘own people’ on board. By Jocelyn Vena Howard Stern Photo: MTV News Rumors about controversial radio host Howard Stern joining the “American Idol” judges’ table after Simon Cowell’s departure at the end of this season have been swirling for awhile, and Stern has discussed the talk openly on his Sirius Radio show . In his latest bit of “Idol” chatter, the shock jock said that he would only get on board if two judges currently on the show — Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi — were shown the door. “What do you want me to tell you? Listen, I won’t work with Ellen DeGeneres or Kara DioGuardi. If I go to ‘American Idol’, they’re out,” he told New York Post reporter Cindy Adams on Thursday night. “They don’t have an opinion. You gotta be with it, you gotta make the show happen.” Stern, who spoke Adams on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of “Green Zone,” didn’t name potential replacements for DioGuardi and DeGeneres, but he did say he would bring his own people on board. “When I come in there, I’m gonna bring a couple of people — my own people with me — and we’re going to take that show to new heights,” he added. “Someone sings bad, we take the trap door and throw them right down the trap door. I’m going to put an electric dog collar on the contestants, when they screw up I’m going to shock ’em. You understand? We’re going to talk a real show.” Stern also engaged in some public salary negotiations, telling “Entertainment Tonight” how much he thinks he should get paid . “I read in the paper that they want to give me $100 million to judge a karaoke contest, and that seems like pretty good pay for something as dumb as that,” Stern said. He also added his thoughts on DeGeneres’ first week behind the judges’ table. “Ellen has said she won’t work with me, but quite frankly, after watching her on the stupid show, I gotta tell ya, I won’t work with Ellen,’ he said. “She’s out if I come in.” What do you think of Stern’s comments?
