If you’re a Duggar woman of a certain age, then thousands of people are going to be constantly speculating on the state of your uterus. And that’s just the way it is. Ever since Michelle got her family famous by giving birth to as many children as she possibly could, this has become the Duggar legacy. Well, this and that whole mess with Josh. Jim Bob and Michelle don’t believe in birth control , and Michelle has said many times that she feels it is her duty as a wife to make herself available for her husband each and every time he feels like getting down. Michelle has also said that overpopulation isn’t an issue because every single person in the whole entire world could fit inside Jacksonville, Florida, and while that isn’t immediately relevant, it’s just a funny/tragic thing to think about. As the years go by, we’re seeing more and more that the Duggar children don’t necessarily follow each and every religious rule that their parents hold so dear. Like, some of the girls have been wearing pants . But judging by rumors and a few suspicious photos, it looks like Jill Duggar may just be relating to her mom’s belief of popping out one baby right after the other. Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, welcomed their second child back in July. We don’t know too much about the birth, but there are quite a few clues that it was a rough one. The new baby didn’t get a spread in People, which has become customary for new Duggar babies, and Jill didn’t share anything about him on social media for a while, which was also strange. We do know that she had an emergency c-section, and that she also had an emergency c-section with her first child. You’d think that after that experience, which had to be at least a little traumatic based on just those few details we do know, that it would be a little while before she and Derick would even think about having another child. But according to some pretty persistent rumors, you’d think wrong! We haven’t seen too much of Jill lately — probably because her husband has been acting like a massive jackass — but in the few photos and videos we’ve seen of her, many people seem to think she’s got a baby bump. Back in November, the Duggar family’s Facebook page shared a video of her teaching one of her little sisters how to make an apple crisp, and the comments on the video were full of people convinced she was pregnant yet again . And then on Thanksgiving, Derick shared a photo of the two of them together , and — you guessed it! — his followers saw more proof of pregnancy. Now Derick has shared yet another holiday photo in which they’re kissing under the mistletoe. And wouldn’t you know it, there’s that pesky baby bump again! Many of Derick’s followers took this as confirmation of her pregnancy, leaving comments like “Jill is totally pregnant!!!” Another agreed, writing “Yup 3rd on the way.” “Here comes another baby!!” another person announced. But others weren’t so convinced — one person pointed out that “she probably still has baby fat” from her last pregnancy, and another noted that “It may just seem that way because of how she is bent backwards.” “I really hope you’re never in a situation where people say you look pregnant when you’re not,” one particularly kind person wrote. “It won’t feel very good.” Because while it’s fun to speculate about pregnancy, especially when there’s such a high likelihood of pregnancy, there’s a very, very real chance that Jill isn’t expecting at all. Back in October, Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney revealed how she was molested by her team doctor , Larry Nassar. In November, teammate Aly Raisman added her name to the list of over 140 young women with their own stories of abuse in the guise of medical care by Dr. Nassar. On Thursday, Larry Nassar was sentenced — not for sex abuse, but for child pornography charges. Dr. Larry Nassar, who is 54 years old, has been in prison while awaiting sentencing. During that time, McKayla Maroney and Aly Raisman revealed that Dr. Nassar had molested them , sharing their heartbreaking #MeToo stories with the world. Like so many others, these Olympic superstars describe Dr. Nassar, at the time their team doctor, administering “treatments” to them under the guise of medical practice. Olympic athletes (and others) often require legitimate therapies such as massage. Nassar, it is described, would use these as opportunities to molest the young girls who had been entrusted to his care. These monstrous deeds are evil to their core and unforgivable. But, though Nassar has pleaded guilty to 10 counts of sexual assault (a drop in the bucket compared to the number of accusers), it is not for these heinous crimes that he’s been sentenced. Larry Nassar was on trial for possession of child pornography. How much child pornography ? … asked virtually no one. He was found to have come into possession of 37,000 images that constitute child pornography. That almost certainly means that he was collecting photos of very real children who are victims or who were victims. Awful on its own, particularly if he then shared those images or in any way financially compensated the ones who gave them to him. Dr. Nassar was also accused of trying to destroy those images in order to avoid being held accountable for possessing child pornography. His sentence: 60 years in federal prison. Federal Judge Janet Neff explained (though she really didn’t need to) her reasoning behind the decision: That Larry Nassar “should never again have access to children.” We strongly agree. Possibly influencing the judge’s decision were impact statements from Nassar’s many victims, including McKayla Maroney. “Dr. Nassar was not a doctor, he in fact is, was, and forever shall be, a child molester, and a monster of a human being.” Agreed. “It all started when I was 13 or 14 years old, at one of my first National Team training camps, in Texas, and it didn’t end until I left the sport.” That is a nightmare. “It seemed whenever and wherever this man could find the chance, I was ‘treated.’ It happened in London before my team and I won the gold medal, and It happened before I won my Silver Medal.” Awful. “For me, the scariest night of my life happened when I was 15 years old. I had flown all day and night with the team to get to Tokyo.” This is not new information, and matches what she disclosed months ago. But that doesn’t mean that it was any easier for her to write. “He’d given me a sleeping pill for the flight, and the next thing I know, I was all alone with him in his hotel room getting a ‘treatment.’ I thought I was going to die that night.” McKayla’s mother, Erin Maroney, also gave an impact statement about how this traumatic experience changed her daughter’s life. “This experience has been shattering to McKayla.” Of course it was. “She has transformed from a bubbly, positive, loving, world class athlete into a young adult who was deeply depressed, at times suicidal and essentially descended into an emotional abyss.” Abusing a child is a tragedy that can never be undone. They can heal, but they’ll never recover the formative years that they lost to trauma. “At times I was unsure whether I would open her bedroom door and find her dead.” We are eternally grateful that this monster’s abuses did not claim McKayla’s life. “Her father and I have been living this nightmare for years and until recently we felt hopeless. Nassar and those individuals and institutions that protected him almost snuffed out my daughter.” Michegan State University is accused of having helped to cover up Larry Nassar’s crimes. Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra just can’t catch a break, huh? They’re both only 25 years old, and yet they’ve already been through more trauma than many people face in an entire lifetime. Right now, they’re going through a rough patch — Catelynn is staying in a treatment center in Arizona to deal with her anxiety and depression. Earlier this month, she announced via Twitter that she’d be checking into rehab, saying “Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I’m going to treatment.” Then, in an additional statement, she explained that “I’m taking the time I need right now to take good care of myself.” “On November 17th I thought of every way possible to commit suicide … from wrapping a belt around my beck to just running my car into an electric pole…’ “THANK GOD I have a support system and a HUSBAND and a DAUGHTER,” she continued. “Thank god I am self aware… I’m seeking treatment and I WILL get better.” “Anyone feeling alone you ARE NOT ALONE! This world needs all of us! We are all here for a reason… Thank you for your support during this tough time,” she finished. After releasing that statement, she flew out to Arizona, accompanied by Tyler, and they got her checked into the treatment center. Since then, things haven’t exactly been easy. On Thanksgiving, Tyler shared a clip from the new season of Teen Mom OG and gushed about how beautiful Catelynn looked in it. He also wrote that ” It’s going to be a rough holiday without being able to kiss her & tell her how thankful I am for her, but we have a strong resilience crafted by our past, we got this!” As you can see, he’s freely admitting that he’s having a hard time without Catelynn — but it sounds like things may be even worse than he’s letting on. According to a source close to Catelynn and Tyler who spoke with Radar Online, things are so bad that Tyler is seeking out treatment of his own. “Tyler seemed beside himself” when Catelynn left for rehab, the source reveals. “He already has his next appointment for therapy scheduled. He’s super self aware so I know he’s going to be in therapy a lot.” Right now, the source says that Catelynn’s mother, April, is babysitting their daughter frequently “so Tyler can have some time to focus on himself.” “Their daughter will be OK and well taken care of,” the insider insists. This person also says that “everything will be OK” between Catelynn and Tyler, too. “He will help her get better and will let her know he isn’t going anywhere,” the source claims. So that’s a lot of information, huh? It sounds kind of vague — like Tyler could be seeking his own in-patient treatment, or like he’s just been setting up some appointments with a therapist. Whatever he decides to do, it’s probably a good idea. Although he hasn’t seemed to struggle with depression as much as Catelynn has lately, he still has a history with the illness. In one especially heartbreaking episode of Teen Mom OG, we learned that he tried to hang himself when he was just 12 years old — after the attempt, he said he had to walk around with rope burns on his neck for weeks. Considering that, plus his troubled history with his father, all the heartache that came from placing their first child for adoption … Therapy could really do nothing but good for Tyler.
