Isn't it so nice to see Gwen Stefani happy after the absolute mess that was her divorce from Gavin Rossdale ? It was widely reported that he had a long affair with their nanny , but whatever happened, Gwen was very clear about being traumatized from it. After she filed for divorce, she spoke at length about how hurt she was by whatever it was that happened. It was awful. But then she began dating her fellow co-star on The Voice, country star Blake Shelton, and things began looking up for her. Gwen and Blake — Gwake, if you will — were very vocal about their love for each other for a while, to the point where they got a bit obnoxious. Some people even began thinking the relationship was staged, things were so constantly, overwhelmingly sappy. But in the past several months, it seems like these two have really settled into their relationship. They don't gush about each other every waking moment like they used to, and it's been a nice change. But don't for one second think that their love has faded — and if you can't help it, just check out this clip of Blake Shelton at last night's People's Choice Awards . Bad news: 2016 has stolen yet another celebrity from us. Joey Boots is dead. Joey was known for his work on the Howard Stern Show — he was very popular as one of the Wack Packers , and for shouting “Baba Booey!” on the show — and he also had his own podcast. But yesterday evening, Joey failed to show up to record the podcast. The guys sent out his fellow Wack Packer, High Pitch Erik, to check on Joey at his New York apartment When Joey didn’t answer the door, Erik asked a building manager to open it, and that’s when they found him, slumped over in a chair, dead. What’s worse, an audibly upset Erik recounted the entire event right on the podcast. You can listen to the audio below, but be warned, it’s hard to listen to: Joey Boots Found Dead by High Pitch Erik In a shaky voice, Erik explains how Joey wouldn’t come to the door, and how when the building manager opened the door, they saw his body. The other hosts don’t believe him at first, it sounds like they thought he was joking, but it’s obvious that Erik was genuinely freaked out. The clip ends with Erik telling the guys to end the show. When his body was found, it was cold, and there was no sign of any trauma. It’s believed that Joey died from natural causes, but of course we won’t know more until he’s examined. He did suffer from diabetes, but he was only 49 years old. It really is a shocking loss . After the news broke that he had died, Howard Stern tweeted a sweet-ish message in his memory. “Tribute to the one and only Joey B in the new year,” he wrore. “He will be missed.” Stern also added the fitting hashtag “BabaooeyHowardSternpenis.” Memet Walker, the staffer for the Howard Stern show, shared a photo of himself with Joey, and his caption read “Joey Boots wasn’t a Wack Packer to me … he was a genuine friend.” “I’m gonna miss you like hell, buddy.” Other friends and coworkers echoed the same sentiment: it seems like Joey was well-loved by all those who knew him. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West apparently are staying together for the kids. Or they’re going to try to, at the very least. According to the Daily Mail , the couple’s public weekend outing was more than just a show of unity and “affection” for one another: It was a statement that things aren’t as rock-solid as some may think. The DM revealed that the fame-loving couple decided to attend counseling “for the sake of their kids” after putting their marriage and motivations under the microscope. If ever there was a time to go into therapy, now would be it, and the excuse couldn’t be better. Even if Kim is done with Kanye West — a thing that sources close to Kim vehemently deny — counseling for both parties for the sake of their kids is the best option. A healthy parent rears healthy children, after all. It was reported that Kim endured yet another battle — this time internal — and though reason told her the best thing to do was leave Kanye, her heart won, because she apparently still loves him. “They’re actually doing better ,” an insider, someone who claims to be a closer, personal friend, revealed. “It was obviously a bit tough when [ Kanye’s breakdown happened] and it was confusing … but they’re doing better now.” “Kim is so in love with him and love can be blinding sometimes — she just adores him and the family loves him as well,” the friend continued. “It’s a situation that she’s giving another shot, a second chance.” The source added: “She feels he’s been under a lot of pressure, so she feels like he deserves another shot.” First of all, a mentally ill person doesn’t “deserve another shot,” they’re mentally ill. They need help and counseling and caring — not to be treated like the family dog that peed on the rug one too many times. “They had a heart-to-heart about it and Kim is still deeply in love with him,” the friend said. Hard to believe, since she actually waffled about being with him after their darkest individual moments? Perhaps. “Despite the fact that logic tells her the best thing to do would be to move on, the other side of that is that she has children with him now,” the insider continued. “Kim told me, ‘It’s not just about me, it’s about the kids.’ So she wants to make it work.” For the sake of the kids. The loose-lipped friend of the couple claimed that the two were going to get through the hard times together. Kind of like, you know, how the marriage vows go. “She [Kim] wants them to get therapy, counseling and for them to get through this together,” the friend continued. “Right now, they’re both individually recovering — her from a traumatic experience and him from going crazy.” The insider somberly concluded: “But once they get through this and get back in shape, they’re going to do counseling to see if they can save this [their marriage] for the sake of the kids.” Hopefully they can just get it together period. All joking aside, it’s been a really rough year for Kanye and Kim. And hell, for all of us, really. The first trailer for Blade Runner 2049 is here, and it leaves us with only one question: Is it October 6, 2017 yet?!? The wildly anticipated sequel to the 1982 classic will bring Harrison Ford back as Rick Deckard, while also featuring Ryan Gosling as a Los Angeles Police Department officer named K. He's tasked with tracking down Deckard, despite the fact that Deckard – based on the following footage – clearly does not want to be tracked down. Blade Runner 2049 will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also helmed this year’s likely Oscar nominee, Arrival. The new Blade Runner will also stars Robin Wright, Dave Bautista, and Jared Leto. That's quite the cast! Set against a futuristic cityscape in shades of misty blue, the trailer feature Ford as a narrator, saying at one point: “Replicants are like any other machine. Last month, Kanye West was hospitalized after suffering an emotional breakdown that resulted in a 911 call. Obviously, the incident and its fallout have been sources of stress for Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian, who’s been forced to grapple with two traumatic incidents in as many months. Back in October, Kim has robbed at gunpoint and relieved of millions of dollars in jewels while staying at a hotel in Paris. Now, sources say the Wests’ current rough patch has left the A-list couple on the verge of divorce. Several insiders have claimed that Kim is planning on leaving Kanye as soon as he’s stable and capable of caring for himself. Now, however, a new source has come forward claiming that Kim had been planning on leaving Kanye, but her husband’s mental health issues have actually had convinced her to give him another chance. “The divorce rumors come from before he had the breakdown,” an unidentified friend of Kim’s tells People magazine. “She didn’t know what was up with him and they weren’t spending time together. She didn’t realize it was a mental breakdown.” The insider claims that Kanye had been acting erratically in the weeks leading up to his breakdown, and Kim often became frustrated, not realizing that his behavior was the result of a worsening mental illness. Details remain scarce, but reps close to the Kardashians have indicated that the rapper had an issue with the medications he was taking as part of an ongoing treatment program. It seems the timing couldn’t have been worse, as Kim was in need of Kanye’s support in the wake of her robbery, and she was stunned to find that he was unable to provide it. The cameras may not be rolling on Teen Mom OG… … but that doesn’t mean that two of the show’s stars are done making headlines. Earlier this week, Amber Portwood stunned the reality show community when she announced she was quitting Teen Mom OG , citing the unfair way she’s been portrayed as the basis for her departure. “I’ll be leaving #teenmomog sadly,” Amber captioned a cast photo that depicted her alongside with Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham and Catelynn Lowell. Seems pretty straightforward, doesn’t it? Added Portwood, in an attempt to make her position clear: “The way I have been portrayed and treated is unfair. @MTV sending all my love… “If I was treated fairly it wouldn’t be an issue but it’s been nothing but disrespect since the reunion show. Which keeps continuing today… Nothing has been dealt with or has made me feel any safer to even move on with people who have continuously hidden things from the network…. “The day I’m shown some respect by the people I’ve worked with for 8 years is the day I’ll be back. I’ve sacrificed a lot for this show.” MTV has not commented on Amber’s series of Tweets, but it does appear as if she’s keeping the door for a return open. And Abraham, for one, thinks this is all a bunch of BS. She thinks Amber wants to walk right through that door. “None of the girls will quit – they like the attention, need the money and their boyfriends need the money too much to quit,” Farrah told E! News on Friday. The controversial Teen Mom cast member added: “I get that Amber is embarrassed of her actions but she flip-flops all the time. She will be right back to filming. This is so dramatic. “She could quit and not make it public if she was truly done.” Abraham and Portwood got into it recently at the Teen Mom OG reunion special. And we mean… THEY GOT INTO IT . During the show, Abraham implied that Portwood’s fiancé, Matt Baier, looked like a pedophile. This set Portwood off. Big time, especially because Abraham’s boyfriend, Simon, had called Baier a pedophile back in October. The peeved Teen Mom stormed the stage and attacked Abraham, causing Abraham’s father, Michael, to also rush the stage, in defense of his child.
