Update: Bret Michael’s Doctors Looking For Source of Bleeding

Bret Michael still remains in ICU after suffering from a brain hemorrhage. Doctors are running more tests. He’s in critical condition and is under a 24 hour doctors’ care and supervision. They are positive that further tests will locate the source of the bleeding, which has not been located until this time. Michael suffered excruciating headache and most patients experience this as the first tip-off to this kind of hemorrhage. This situation stresses the importance of seeking emergency medical care. The doctors’ goal is to locate the aneurysm. There are a small percentage of subarachnoid hemorrhages where sometimes the aneurysm has already ruptured and it’s difficult to locate. It may be too small that makes the aneurysm from being seen by an angiogram. If detected, it can be treated through surgery.
