On Thursday, Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) took to the floor of the Senate and claimed that carbon dioxide — that naturally occurring gas integral to life on this planet! — “will be over the next 20 years the leading cause of conflict, putting our troops in harm’s way” (transcript and commentary follow): I’m going to put in the record, Madam President, a host of quotes from our national security experts who tell us that carbon pollution leading to climate change will be over the next 20 years the leading cause of conflict, putting our troops in harm’s way. In her first public appearance since the Jesse James cheating scandal and the double divorce and adoption bombshells that followed, Sandra Bullock was in good spirits. And certainly worthy of being called the Troops’ Choice. Returning to the spotlight Saturday, she made a surprise visit to the Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards to accept the “Troops Choice” Award for Entertainer of the Year. Presenter Robert Downey, Jr., awarded her the honor, bestowed by members of the military, and the star received a standing ovation from the Los Angeles audience. The Blind Side Oscar winner looked stunning, too … THE TROOPS SUPPORT HER : And for good reason! In addition to her good looks, the new mother of baby son Louis’ trademark, self-deprecating wit was on display as she accepted the honor last night … “Let’s be honest here, just for a moment. We’re all going to be honest, right? Did I win this for being entertainer of the year, or because of the spectacular I.E.D. [improvised explosive device] explosion that became my personal life?!” Once the laughter subsided, she said , “No, it’s okay. Because I would do it over again if it was to entertain our troops, and our extraordinary troops deserve something much more than some actress in a tight dress talking about herself.” “I would sing, but you’ve seen enough pain in your lifetime. I would dance – I’m a pretty good dancer, but as I mentioned, the dress is pretty tight.” She’s the best.

He said that at their meeting in 1987, this event is for POW/MIA issues with another Vietnam Veterans. This rolling thunder 2010 motorcycle riders that roar into Washington D.C. is raising an awareness about prisoners of war, their troops that are missing in action and other veterans issues. Paris Hilton has taken a break from harassing Doug Reinhardt with phone calls to focus on a slightly more important task: Supporting American troops. The socialite showed up in New York City this week at “Swinging Salute to Our Troops,” an event sponsored by the USO. Even though one officer below didn’t seem excited to pose with Paris, it’s the thought that count. Gotta give her props for the effort. Earlier this spring, Kim Kardashian was also honored by the troops . What’s with these guys and former sex tape stars? We guess that answer is obvious, huh? Dirty Mexican trash Eva Longoria should be fucking deported even though she was born in America strictly based on the fact that she tried her hardest to be white and live the American dream, you know getting on TV and shit, but genetics couldn’t trick her dress size as she now looks like a dumpy piece of Mexican trash you’d expect to find cookin’ in a Hollywood home for a rich family, which brings up the real proof as to how white she tries is, because no real Mexican would hire a Mexican to do their dirty work, but I have a feeling Eva Longoria would in her quest to be white…. Soldiers Angry At Hollywood

Lots of military people are upset over “Hurt Locker”, critically acclaimed as a “perfect” war film, nominated for 9 oscars. most people realize its just a movie, but critics on the other hand never do, nor realize that no one normally cares about them. except this time they stepped on the toes of soldiers who have been in or are still in iraq/afghanistan. the troops know that this movie is a crock of steaming *explitive* as far as accuracy is concerned. hollywood doesn't. hopefully people understand hollywood's fake but we shall see. i doubt anything will come of this but at least some people are taking a stand. and critics, should all be fired. you all say the same thing. go burn. added by: diode
