Old Heads: Mama Joyce SNAPS On Todd Tucker “I Didn’t Stop Liking You…I Stopped Respecting You”

Why can’t Mama Joyce and Todd get along? Mama Joyce Says She Stopped Respecting Todd Poor Todd is gonna have to deal with Mama Joyce’s bullisht til death does he part. According to Radar Online: Kandi Burruss’ mother has been very vocal about not liking her daughter’s fiancé, Todd Tucker, even considering him an opportunist! And on Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Tucker confronts Mama Joyce to figure out why she’s so disapproving of their upcoming nuptials. “I really want to talk to you Mama Joyce. I know we’ve had our ups and downs. I don’t know what it is, but somewhere we went wrong,” Tucker said. “You looked at me as an opportunist and he’s not here for the right reasons, he’s dating her friend — a lot of things were said. For me, I’d rather just speak directly to you, one-on-one just to get an understanding.” With her daughter set to walk down the aisle with Tucker on April 4, Mama Joyce delivered a simple – and final – blow. “I didn’t stop liking you. I stopped respecting you,” Mama Joyce bluntly told her future son-in-law. The big day is tomorrow. Let’s just pray when the pastor says “any objections?” that Mama Joyce doesn’t act a fool. Really?? Kandi Blames Wendy Williams For Mama Joyce Not Feeling Producer Boo Todd

Kandi, maybe it just isn’t meant to be. Kandi Says Her Mom Doesn’t Like Todd Because Of Wendy Williams Todd may be dirty doggin’ Kandi and Mama Joyce doesn’t like him. If he refuses to sign that prenup too, it’s time to keep it moving. According to ABC News: The former Xscape singer tells ABC News Radio her mother’s lack of support has halted all of the wedding planning. “I haven’t decided yet if I want something that’s small and just us or if we wanted to do something bigger and invite people. What was stopping me from even planning is the fact that my mom is not being supportive,” the 37-year-old mother of one says. “It’s like, okay do I really want to have a wedding and my mom may not show up or if she does show up she’s going to be mean and negative? You know, you don’t want the bad energy either.” Burruss admits her mom’s dislike of Tucker has made her just want to run down to the nearest courthouse to wed, but Tucker wants a big wedding so the two can include their children. The pair each have one daughter from previous relationships. The reality star said Jones has no real reason to dislike Tucker, but it all started after her mom watched daytime TV. “I can tell you when it started,” Burruss says of the rift. “Last year when Wendy Williams was commenting on our show every week and she was like, ‘[Tucker’s] an opportunist. I think he’s an opportunist.’ Next thing I know, my momma comes back and is like, ‘Wendy said that he was an opportunist.’” Still, Burruss knows she’s found a great guy in Tucker even if they did have to initially keep their romance a secret because Tucker was a producer on the reality series. “I just love everything about him,” she gushes. “…He’s very smart. He’s very intelligent. He’s a leader. He’s not the type that’s going to try and tell me what to do, but he’s great at helping guide me in a way. And I think that I need a man that’s just as strong so he can deal with me because…I can be a little strong.” That damn Wendy!

This Is The Face Of A Woman Who Marries Two Men,Then Tries To Steal A $50,000 Car

Wait a minute…is that stubble on her chin?!?!?!?! A Cobb County woman is accused of marrying her second husband before she divorced her first. But it wasn’t until she allegedly tried to steal a $49,000 truck that she was caught. Diane Tucker, 48, married Edwin Windelberg in Gwinnett County Jan. 16, 2004, according to an arrest warrant obtained by the AJC. Then on April 19, 2007, Tucker married Cesar Alexandro Saldivar in Cobb County. But Tucker didn’t divorce Windelberg until April 7th, 2008, nearly a year after becoming another man’s bride, according to the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office. When Tucker completed an application for a marriage license in Cobb County probate court, she allegedly stated she had been married one time and that she had divorced in 2001, the arrest warrant states. Saldivar realized in 2009 that Tucker was allegedly married to two men at the same time. Authorities discovered the crime Oct. 6, the day after Tucker was arrested for allegedly trying to steal a pickup truck. In a separate arrest warrant, Tucker is accused of writing a $49,484 check to Hardy Chevrolet in Paulding County for a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado K150. Then, she allegedly stopped payment on the check and claimed she never received the title, the warrant states. Tucker allegedly received the title and pawned it for $5,000 in Cobb County. Tucker, of Powder Springs, faces charges of bigamy, making false statements and theft by deception, according to Cobb County jail records. She remained in jail Monday afternoon. Wow and this lady had two dudes wifing her up!! Source

Chris Tucker Ready To Return To Movies

Chris Tucker used to get it in as a movie star after appearing in blockbusters like the “Rush Hour” trilogy and other films (“Friday” is STILL hilarious). But we haven’t seen the Decatur native in any roles since 2007 when he starred in “Rush Hour 3″ alongside Jackie Chan. Chris Tucker recently returned to his standup comic roots by doing some shows in comedy clubs and one at the Fox Theatre last year, and it may not be long before we see him in another film. According to MovieFone.com , Tucker is in talks with execs to co-star in two high-profile projects: ‘The Silver Linings Playbook” with Bradley Cooper and “Neighborhood Watch” with Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill. Cynthia Tucker: ‘Steele Would’ve Been Fired Long Time Ago Were He Not Black’

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Cynthia Tucker on Sunday said that Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele “is a self-aggrandizing, gaffe-prone incompetent who would have been fired a long time ago were he not black.”  Chatting with ABC’s Jake Tapper during the Roundtable segment of today’s “This Week” about Steele’s recent remarks concerning Afghanistan, Tucker went even further with what many would consider overt racism.  “The irony is that he never would have been voted in as Chairman of the Republican Party were he not black” (video follows with transcript and commentary): JAKE TAPPER, HOST: Cynthia, you once called, let me underline “You” once called Michael Steele an affirmative action hire gone bad. What’s your take on this? CYNTHIA TUCKER, ATLANTA JOURNAL-CONSTITUTION: Well, Michael Steele is a self-aggrandizing, gaffe-prone incompetent who would have been fired a long time ago were he not black. Of course, the irony is that he never would have been voted in as Chairman of the Republican Party were he not black. Let’s remember how the Party wound up with Michael Steele. In November 2008, the Party was devastated that the Democrats had elected the nation’s first black president while the Republican Party was stuck with being seen as largely the party of aging white people, with good reason. A party that was hostile to people of color, especially blacks and Latinos. So the Party needed a new face, preferably a face of color, and they didn’t have very many officials to choose from. So, they came up with Michael Steele. And it is very ironic since the Republicans have been so critical of affirmative action, to watch them stuck with their affirmative action hire that they dare not get rid of because that would generate even more controversy. If this were said about a black Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, or any high-ranking black Democrat, the media, the NAACP, and the Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be up in arms demanding that person’s resignation. But because Steele is a black Republican, this kind of talk is completely acceptable. In fact, nobody on the panel including the host even batted an eye when Tucker made these disgusting remarks. Yet there’s a potentially even more striking hypocrisy here: didn’t Tucker with her accusation admit that some incompetent black people are hired exclusively because of the color of their skin, and they don’t get fired for exactly the same reason? As such, wasn’t Tucker accidentally making a case AGAINST affirmative action?  Somehow you imagine she missed this while she was eviscerating Steele on national television.

Trey Songz’s Mom Makes Splash At BET Awards

Singer brought April Tucker onstage with him when he accepted the award for Best Male R&B Artist. By Hillary Crosley Trey Songz at the 2010 BET Awards Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage Though Prince received the biggest honor of the BET Awards with a Lifetime Achievement tribute, Trey Songz ‘s mother was the belle of the ball. Joining her son as his date, Ms. Songz made quite an impression on the show’s younger audience, so much that she earned #1 on Google’s trending topics. Born and raised in Petersburg, Virginia, April Tucker gave birth to Trey, born Tremaine Neverson, at the age of seventeen. Living on welfare and in Section 8 housing, Tucker enrolled in Virginia State University and graduated six years later, earning a degree in Sociology with a minor in Administration of Justice. Serving as a juvenile probation officer in Baltimore, Maryland, and a resource specialist in several Maryland counties, Tucker grew interested in helping children. Following her then husband, who was a military man, to Junction City, Kansas, Ms. Tucker became a program manager for Big Brothers and Big Sisters there and helped children at risk. Despite her relocations to Baltimore and middle America, Tucker decided that Trey would have a better childhood with her parents back in Virginia, where he began singing in church. Now that her son Trey is a wildly popular R&B singer, Tucker and her firstborn (Trey has a younger brother named Forrest) make a point of doing charitable work. In the past, the two have given clothing donations and turkeys during Thanksgiving to Petersburg’s needy. Despite their distance, Trey and his mother are very close, and she describes him as “a regular guy with a God-given voice and talent for writing.” Responding in kind, the singer’s tattoo on his chest describes his adoration for his mother. “To God I pray may April’s showers rain on her Forrest,” reads the tattoo. “And grow the strength that started with one Rose.” Earlier in the evening, the Virginia native won the award for Best Male R&B Artist and brought his extremely good-looking mother onto the stage with him to accept his trophy. Following tonight’s show, BET will debut Trey’s documentary, “My Moment,” which follows the singer during the recent Blueprint 3 tour with Jay-Z across America.
