LG Electronics EzSign 42LD452B 42-Inch 1080p 120 Hz 1080p LCD TV reviews

This will be the second set I have used for digital signage. The Software is not intuitive and lacking capabilities that others have. You can#39;t complain to much about “free” though. The set works well and has all the inputs needed for computer, component, HDMI and video. Even an onboard tuner can be mixed into the USB signage playback. One glaring problem with the firmware is the NON ability to start playing from the USB drive upon startup. If I set the turn ON TIME, the USB source is not on

I’m Nicole and I had been waiting to meet Justin pretty…

I’m Nicole and I had been waiting to meet Justin pretty much since I found his videos on YouTube back in 2009. I had seen him various times, but I had never got my chance to meet him in person until February 22nd, 2013 in Manchester. I stayed home off school all day to buy front row tickets and meet and greets back in June, and it had finally hit me that I was going to meet Justin. Excited wasn’t even the word to describe how I was feeling. Since I was going alone, I was pretty bored waiting around to check into the M&G. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, I was at the front of the queue and I had two wristbands, one was pink, and one was red and it said ‘meet and greet’ on it, and I also got a raffle ticket with a number on. We had our tickets checked and walked inside. Then we had a little talk from one of Justin’s people about what was in our gift bags, which were an autographed vinyl signed by Justin himself. He also said that security were going to cut off our M&G wristbands, because apparently beliebers had been ‘very sneaky’ in the past. We walked down literally 5 flights of stairs into this basement, and into this open part of the arena. We had to wait there, and we were told that when Justin was on his way. In the meantime, they were giving away some of Justin’s items, reading out the raffle ticket number that we had gotten earlier. The prizes were one of the tour programs, a drum head, his sweaty tank top and one of his shoes!! But knowing my luck, my number didn’t match any of the ones that they had called out and I didn’t win anything. Next, we went into a room with a huge black curtain on the left hand side, and that was it. I knew that in a few moments, I would meet the one person who made my entire life. The curtain opened, and people started screaming. It took me a while to realize that it was Dan Kanter himself! Then, he went back behind the curtain after a few minutes and the line started moving, meaning that I was getting closer and closer to meeting Justin. Finally, it was my turn. Security told me to wait, whilst Justin was taking another M&G pic with some girls in front of me. Then, finally, it was my turn. I saw him, and oh my God, he looked gorgeous (as per usual). He was wearing all black, which I found funny because so was I, with a Nets snapback on and I fought hard with myself not to scream or to show any type of crazy fangirl activity. I said a simple, ‘Hi’ to Justin and he said ‘Hello’ back, in that amazing voice of his. I stood on Justin’s right hand side and he put his arm round me. My heart was thumping so hard, I felt like I was going to faint. I mean, come ON. Justin’s hand was around me! The picture was taken and right after it, I looked at him, he gave me the cutest smile and said, “Enjoy the show sweetheart,” then he WINKED at me.. I just about died there and then. I didn’t even know what to do with myself, so I just kissed his cheek and hugged him really fast before security pulled me off of him.  The show was absolutely amazing. What made everything better was that as I had front row seats (props to my parents). I was given a wristband that allowed me to go right up to the catwalk – where Justin was most of the show! Everything was so perfect. Honestly. It was the best night of my life. I have huge blisters on my feet, my entire body is still aching and I can barely talk because my throat is so sore, I want to experience it all over again. To everyone else out there who thinks that they can’t meet him; you can. Just believe. Wow. That was hella cheesy. But it’s true. Friday, February 22nd 2013. My wildest dream came true. I finally got to meet my idol. Thank you Justin for everything, I love you so much. -@biebstbh Read more from the original source: I’m Nicole and I had been waiting to meet Justin pretty…

I never thought that I would have a Bieber Experience of my very own. But it finally happened and it was a dream come true. It was 1/11/13 when I found out that I had won the BieberFever contest. I started to get ad emails constantly that day and every time there was a buzz on my phone, my heart would jump and skip a beat. One buzz after another then suddenly I started to give up. BAM it buzzed again and I got annoyed cause I thought it was another basic ad. When I clicked on it, it said ‘BIEBER FEVER! CONGRATULATIONS!’ I threw my phone on my desk while I was in class and everyone just looked at me. Then I bursted out crying and said, “I’m meeting Justin Bieber tomorrow.” Everyone thought I was crazy but then when they saw I was crying they were so happy for me. My teacher let me out 5 minutes early to tell my best friend and I was crying still. After I called my dad because before I made a deal with him saying if I won, he would take me down to San Antonio to meet Justin. San Antonio is 5 hours away from where I live. When I got in the car, I cried to my dad even harder because it was unreal to me. I thought I was dreaming. Then we went to pick up my friend so she could go with us. The next morning we drove down to San Antonio, the day of the concert. When we got there it was 2 p.m. so we went to find a hotel. We finally arrived at the arena but there was one big problem, my friend and I didn’t have tickets for the concert because I didn’t think I would even win the contest. We decided to test our luck, went to the box office and asked them for available tickets. They had 2 for $80 each. I was so stunned and we got the tickets along with our meet and greet wristbands. We then went in line and walked into an elevator underground. Lisa told us we have to be in a group of 6. When we got off the elevator, immediately I saw Kenny I ran up to him and said I loved him and hugged him . Then after that we went to the back of the line where I saw Dan and his cousin and friends. I ran up to Dan and hugged him too. Kenny later came back and people were surrounding him for pictures. When it was finally my turn to take a picture with him, someone pulled him away. Then it was my turn to meet Justin. Suddenly the curtains opened and I saw his face. My entire body started to shake and went into shock. The 4 girls in front of us ran in first so my friend and I walked in. One of the girls pushed another one so she could stand next to Justin and Justin told them to stop. It was mean of them. Right when I got in there, I looked at him and my body was in shock. I said, “Hi Justin” and then he was about to hug me but then the security guard stopped him. I was so upset. Then we took the picture. (I was on the bottom in the white shirt.) As I stepped out of the curtain, I turned around and walked out the door crying my eyes out. It was the best day of my life. I could not believe I met my idol. The person I’ve been waiting to meet for forever. Without the BieberFever contest, meeting Justin was impossible for me. I wouldn’t be able to afford it. I was so blessed and thankful for my dad for taking me too. Please don’t ever give up if you’re reading this. Dreams DO COME TRUE. Ignore what the haters say. Through all the bullying and the high hopes being given up on. I can finally say my dreams came true and it was reality. Keep believing and please don’t ever give up. I promise it will happen for you one day. Justin saved my life and gave me hope now I have the biggest smile on my face because on 1/12/13 my dreams came true. -astonishbieber (Linda) Excerpt from: I never thought that I would have a Bieber Experience of my very…

My name is Emily and I’m from Pennsylvania….

My name is Emily and I’m from Pennsylvania. On November 4th 2012, my dream came true of meeting Justin Bieber. Honestly everyone who posts a story on here says it, but I never thought I would be able to meet my idol. I always read the stories on MBE hoping one day it would be my turn. It all started with coming home from school one day to find out my mom had gotten tickets to Justin’s concert and I was so excited because it would be the first time I would get to see Justin live. I knew I only had tickets for almost until I walked into my bedroom to find a paper with everything included in the M&G package on my bed. I was confused but I ran right up to my mom who was holding another paper in her hand, she smiled and handed me the paper. Yeah, tears instantly flew down my cheeks as I was reading the paper because it was true. My mom had M&G’s for me. Believe me, that whole day I couldn’t stop crying and I thanked her so many times and she just replied, “It’s your dream and it’s finally happening.” She was definitely right, it’s been my dream ever since I’ve been his fan which was when his first CD was released. On the day of the concert, it was time to leave for the arena. I got there and met so many Beliebers I talked to over Twitter and so many others, which was great. I saw Nick DeMoura, Justin’s grandparents, Alfredo, Dan, Scrappy, Kenny and DJ Tay James all arrive. Then it was time to go pick up the M&G’s and get in line. Finally, I ended up in line and that’s when I first saw Kenny and I screamed, “Kenny” and he just smiled and waved. Then I saw Dan, and he came over near me and I talked to him for a little, he was so sweet.  The line finally started moving to go downstairs to where we were to meet Justin. All I can say is I was shaking so much and my eyes started to tear as I waited. All of sudden I see Alfredo come out and walk down towards me, so of course I screamed “FREDO” and he came right up to me. I wrote him a note so I gave him that and he smiled put it to his heart and said “Thank you.” I nearly died. He gave me a hug and the line started to move again so I said bye and thank you to him. There was two girls in front of my who were next, then it was my turn. I was just shaking so much. All I hear is Kenny say, “You’re next” so I walk up. Kenny put his hand on my back to tell me to go in and I walked through the curtain and right in front of my eyes was my idol. I don’t know how tears didn’t just endlessly come out but somehow I held it back. There was a guy talking to Justin so I just stood there for a few seconds then Justin made eye contact with me and smiled. I started walking to him and I remember letting out a faint “Hi” and he replied “Hi sweetheart.” As soon as I heard his voice say sweetheart I was just gone. We took the picture and I turned to him and asked for a hug and he replied “Of course.” This is where my tears started to come out, I let go off him and said “Bye, thank you so much for everything I love you.” He replied, “No, thank you.” I walked out and I just let loose of all my tears. “I just met and hugged my idol” I thought to myself, this was something I never knew would happen, it just felt like a dream it really did. So next, my mom opened up an envelope with our two tickets inside for the front row. We had two extra tickets, you bet I went to go find someone without them. I found a girl I met earlier who had none and gave them to her with another girl I had met from Twitter. All I can say is as soon as I gave her those tickets she literally just started crying endlessly and it was the best feeling in the world. Scooter’s absolutely right when he says it feels amazing when you give back and see someone else smile over a ticket. Now, I’m finally in my seat and I go on Twitter to find out Alfredo tweeted me . I screamed in my seat and read what he said to find out he read my letter. Wow, I was just thinking to myself “Did all of this really happen?” It’s unreal to think my dream finally came true. The whole day was absolutely amazing and beyond the best day/night of my life. I never ever thought it would happen, but it did and I’m grateful for it. Truthfully, don’t ever give up and just believe in yourself and one day too you’ll have a My Bieber Experience. -Emily (@stratf0rdbieber) Go here to see the original: My name is Emily and I’m from Pennsylvania….

I remember reading all those wonderful Bieber Experiences and I always thought: “Those people soaked up the entire amount of luck on earth, there is no way there is some left for me!” But NEVER SAY NEVER and finally it’s my turn to write my very own MBE.   I’m Lilly, 20 and from Germany, but right now I live in San Diego, California as an Au Pair. I’ve been a Belieber for a long time now and I didn’t even dare to dream about meeting Justin. The only thing I was dreaming about was getting a follow on Twitter. It all started with a tweet I read saying “LA Beliebers are so lucky, they get a Meet and Greet for free!” I never thought about actually driving somewhere to meet Justin cause like I said…I didn’t even dare to think about that! But this tweet woke me up and I started to DREAM BIG. At this point, Justin had his rehearsals in LA and I saw so many pictures of fans meeting Justin in front of his studio. I asked everywhere until I finally got the address. Then I decided to drive up to LA the very next day and I called my friend Lotte (@BieberAphrodite) who was immediately game, but later that day she found out that she had to work so she couldn’t go with me. She was my only hope. Then I had to think about going by train, but I dropped that thought, cause it was expensive and I wasn’t even sure if he was there or if I found the way. After this, Justin tweeted all the pictures he took with his fans that day on twitter. I was upset and thought, “What if this has been my only chance in life to meet Justin?” A week went by and we planned on driving to LA on the 1st of September. May (@MermaidOfPeace), Lotte (@BieberAphrodite), me and two other friends. Luckily Fredo tweeted about rehearsals. At this point I knew I would meet my inspiration JUSTIN BIEBER. We only waited for 45 minutes until he came out saying “Hey, what’s up guys?” MY HEART RACED LIKE HELL! And on top he brought a cake and Kenny gave us forks and plates. We all got in line to take a picture with Justin. Every single one of us got a picture. I stared at him while I was waiting for my turn. His skin. Perfect. His eyes. Glowing. His smile. Breathtaking. I was thinking about what I would say to him, something like “God bless you!” but the most important thing: LOOK RIGHT INTO HIS EYES AND SMILE. Then finally it was my turn to take a picture and the only thing I could say to him was a simple “Hi!” but luckily I managed to look directly into his eyes and the smile. When he looked at me for the first time, his face totally cleared up and he smiled, honest and bright. He said “Hi! How are you?” and put his arm around my shoulder. [ click here ] It felt like 30 seconds even though it might not even have been 5. I didn’t hear the “How are you?” that’s the reason why I didn’t answer him. After taking the pictures, I went over to Fredo to give him a little note for Justin. First I asked Fredo if he would take a picture with me and he said, “Sure! Of course!” Then he went for a side hug and I said, “But…I don’t have a camera! I’ll be right back!” E.M.B.A.R.R.A.S.S.I.N.G. Fredo just laughed and waited for me until I got back, this time with a camera. After we took the picture I took his hand and put my little note inside. I held it and said “Please give this to Justin! This is so important to me. It’s my username and a little note” While I was saying that I  squeezed his hand a little and looked straight into his face to show him how serious I was about that. “Yes, I will. I promise” he said with a smile. That was enough for me. I believed him. I thanked him and after that Justin said he had to leave. We also left with a piece of “Bieber Cake” . I ran around in circles and screamed “I JUST MET JUSTIN BIEBER AND THIS IS BIEBER CAKE! NEVER SAY NEVER!” just like we all learned it [ x ]. People looked at me as if I was crazy but I honestly couldn’t care less. We fan-girled the whole day. I also noticed that he has been pretty quite while he  was taking the pics… but not with me. I thought that I was just hallucinating all those special things, but my friends assured me that he really changed his face expression when he saw me. I bet that was because I looked like a child on Christmas. I was beyond happy and I couldn’t stop smiling, not even now. Meeting Justin was like reaching bliss. He made me believe again and made me dream big when I didn’t dare to. I love you Justin. -Lilly (@BieberZeus) View post: I remember reading all those wonderful Bieber Experiences and I…

This feels so surreal right now, like me writing my own Bieber…

This feels so surreal right now, like me writing my own Bieber Experience . My name is Trina and I’ve been a Belieber all my life. I’ve seen Justin at show tapings so many times that I can’t even keep count, but meeting him face to face was so hard to do. I found out about a year ago where  Justin’s rehearsal studios were, but I wasn’t sure if it was true or not. I waited a couple of months, which became a year of waiting . All of a sudden, I found a picture of him coming out of the studio on JustJaredJr’s page. I was the happiest girl because I finally found out where Justin was rehearsing at. It was August 15, 2012, where my friends and I decided to go and check out the place. We go and see that there are a group of girls in line. We asked them, “Are you guys here for Bieber?” and they said, “YES!” No one knows what was going through my mind on that day. We stood in line for 5 hours. While waiting in line, I decided to write a letter to Justin from all the Beliebers  with our Twitter names on it. Then all of sudden I see the Moshe park Justin’s swag van on the other side on the studio and Justin just jaywalked across the street to meet us. I was crying under my paper and I heard my best friend say, “Oh my god, Trina don’t cry. Get your act together because Justin will skip your turn.” I got my act together and within a blink of an eye, I see Justin’s right next to me. I was literally on Cloud 9, I didn’t even know what was going on. He came up to me, gave me a tight side hug . He saw me, and said “Hi” and all the words that came out of my mouth were “You are absolutely amazing.” As he was about to leave to go take pictures with other girls, I said “Justin, wait, please pinky promise me you will read this letter.” He looked me in the eyes and said “Sure, of course I will.” He brought his pinky out to mine and gave my pinky the best pinky hug ever . I don’t know what he said back because he was such in a rush. After my turn was over, my friends and I just ran up to each other and gave each other the biggest group hug ever! Even til this day, I still can’t believe I met my idol.  On August 21st, my friends and I decided to go back to the studio because our summer was almost going to be over, and we wanted to spend the end of the summer with Justin. We get there around like 3:00 and there were like a few girls. We waited for like an hour all sitting down, waiting and waiting since Justin usually comes out at late noon time. I decided to look up and then all of a sudden I see Justin with Moshe and Alfredo. The guy who worked there said, “Everyone get up, get in a straight line and this will be a fast one.” My heart was throbbing. I didn’t know what to do. He came walking up to everyone and said, “Hi everyone, how are you doing?” Justin decides to start from the back of the line, where me and my friends were standing. I just say “Hi Justin!” and he says “Did you guys all come together as a group or?” and I say “Um no” he goes “We will all just take a group picture.” My friends and I just gather up around him, and he says “Who has a phone that Moshe could use to take a picture?” Let alone did I know my camera app was open and ready to go, and I just yelled out “OMG I DO I DO!” I give my phone to Justin, and he hands it to Moshe. While we are waiting for Moshe to take the picture he goes, “Everyone smile at the camera!” and we all just smile. He decides to leave and I just grab him and I hug him so tight and he goes, “Woah there.” I’m like, “Sorry. I just had too,” and he smiles back. I was so excited. I didn’t know what to do. I saw Alfredo on the other side, and I say “ALFREDO! ALFREDO, CAN WE TAKE A PICTURE?!” he says “Yes” and he gave a thumbs up. He comes up to my group and he goes, “Oh my god, it so hot out here, I’m sweating!” and we all take the picture, and he goes “It was so nice seeing/meeting you all.” At the end of this day, Moshe decided to give us all Gatorades since we were so calm and patient! This day was the second best experience ever; I never thought that he would actually come out since he seemed so tired! I honestly cannot thank Justin and his crew for everything they’ve done for us. Even a thank you doesn’t cut it. After waiting 4 and half years of just sitting behind my phone, crying my eyes out because I always saw other girls with him. Now, my day had finally come! No one can understand how much I love Justin, nor can any words explain it. To the people who told me, I would never ever meet Justin, well look at me now! EVERYONE JUST BELIEVE AND NEVER SAY NEVER, your time will come. I promise you! -@TrinaNazarian Read more: This feels so surreal right now, like me writing my own Bieber…

Remembering Tony Scott: Five Movies By The Late Director That You Must See

As Hollywood processes the apparent suicide of filmmaker Tony Scott  reports — included a report that he jumped to his death wearing the lucky (faded) red baseball cap that he first donned on the set of his blockbuster his Top Gun — I prefer to dwell, not on Scott’s tragic death, but his life in movies. In Roger Ebert’s review of Scott’s essential True Romance , the critic wrote: “This is the kind of movie that creates its own universe, and glories in it.” I actually think that assessment applies to most of Scott’s work and is what made him special as a filmmaker. Even when his movies weren’t cohesive — Domino or The Hunger come to mind— they were still worth watching and impossible to dismiss because they were filled with provocative ideas, images and themes that amounted to something more than a collection of scenes, acts and dialogue. Below, my list of Scott’s best movies.  If you have a different list in mind, check out our Movieline poll where you can vote for your favorite Scott movie.   1.   True Romance   (1993): Quentin Tarantino usually gets the lion’s share of the credit for this adrenaline-stoking orgy of action and violence because he wrote the script, but it was Scott who shaped QT’s words and the performances of  a killer cast — Christian Slater (at his peak), Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken (both memorable), Brad Pitt and an undiscovered James Gandolfini — into a sexy, bloody rocket ride that, almost 20 years later, still thrills and still influences filmmakers. 2. Top Gun  (1986):  Arguably the movie that defines American confidence — and cockiness — during the Reagan era.  Full of hard bodies, fast aircraft and Tom Cruise’s beautifully aerodynamic smile, Top Gun makes you feel, as the line goes, “the need for speed.” Scott was working on a sequel before his death, and Cruise was supposed to play a role in it.  I was looking forward to seeing where Scott was going to take this idea. 3. Crimson Tide  (1995):  This movie has been given short shrift in the obituaries of Scott that are accruing, but it is not to be missed.   Crimson Tide is that rare thing: an intelligent popcorn movie.  Like the U.S. nuclear sub Alabama on which the movie is set,   Crimson Tide runs fast and deep–and yet inside its sleek Hollywood hull are a lot of smart and thorny ideas about leadership, compliance and the ramifications of nuclear war. Scott makes the most of Michael Schiffer’s screenplay and memorable performances by Gene Hackman and Denzel Washington. 4. Enemy of the State (1998):   A prescient film and a fine example of Scott’s fascination with the technological — and by extension, social and cultural — revolution that took place during his career as a filmmaker. Almost three years before the Bush administration’s reaction to 9/11 had Americans questioning how much of their First Amendment rights they were willing to sacrifice for national security, Scott gave us this over-the-top look at our surveillance society run amok. Technology is as much the star here as Will Smith, but the actor who steals the show is Gene Hackman, who pays  clever homage to his performance as surveilliance-expert Harry Caul in Francis Ford Coppola’s 1974 film, The Conversation. 5 . The Hunger  (1983):  Scott’s first feature film is a mess, but it’s worth watching again, if only for the memorable opening scene (below) in which ultra-hip vampire couple David Bowie and Catherine Deneuve catch Goth pioneers Bauhaus performing “Bela Lugosi Is Dead” at a nightclub, where they pick up their next meal: Ann Magnuson. The concert-to carnage sequence plays like the creepiest MTV video ever. Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Follow Movieline on Twitter.
