The stars of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation are older and (marginally) wiser than they once were. But does that make them marriage material? Pauly D and Vinny think so — and so does MTV. They’re getting their own dating show. Are you ready for  Double Shot at Love With DJ Pauly D & Vinny ? On Friday, MTV came out with a major announcement. Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio and Vinny Guadagnino are set to start on their very own dating show. 20 women will compete for the love of these two men, and it sounds … bonkers. It also sounds a little like The Bachelor , but with two leading men who don’t quite fit the usual mold for that role. Double Shot at Love With DJ Pauly D & Vinny  is expected to premiere on MTV later this year. Whether you’re a huge Jersey Shore fan, a sucker for dating shows, or love the absurdity of reality television, this show is for you. Both of the excited new stars took to Instagram to celebrate the breaking news. “Excited to announce Me and my boyfriend @djpaulyd are getting our own crazy reality dating competition show!” Vinny gushed. Vinny predicted: “This is gonna be good …” For his part, Pauly D also shared the story and celebrated. “Oh Yeahhhhh,” he wrote excitedly on Instagram. “Dating Show Yeahhhhhhh!!!!!!” That is the most Jersey Shore text-based celebration that we can imagine. And that, of course, is exactly what prospective viewers will be hoping to see. On Twitter, Pauly D had a little more to say. “A crazy dating competition show,” Pauly tweets. He then asks, rhetorically: “What could go wrong?” Worst case scenario for a show like this is usually people entering a relationship that slowly crumbles as time goes on. There’s nothing inherently wrong with reality television, but couples need to communicate authentically while getting to know each other. Will Pauly and Vinny’s lady loves get to know the real men on camera? No. They’ll meet the famous personas. Getting to know someone takes time. The “best case” scenario for  Double Shot at Love With DJ Pauly D & Vinny  is … complicated. Because it isn’t necessarily that both dudes find women with whom to gym, tan, laundry for the rest of their lives. This isn’t The Bachelor where they can find new dudes for a second season. Vinny and Pauly’s names are right there in the show’s title. But then, the purpose of the show isn’t really to play matchmaker — it’s entertainment. The best ending for season 1 is renewal for season 2, right? That said, let’s take a look at that title a second time. The show is called  Double Shot at Love With DJ Pauly D & Vinny. Though this show is emphatically about women competing to get with the stars, it doesn’t have to always be that. Over time, Vinny and Pauly could transition into new roles. They could act as hosts and, hilariously, as relationship counselors for other contestants. The series could transition from parallels to The Bachelor to parallels to Bachelor in Paradise . Notably, just last summer, Vinny and Pauly D addressed hte idea of the two of them one day being co-bachelors. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight , Pauly exclaimed “I’m down!” “That would be so dope,” he gushed. “I’d be down too,” Vinny agreed. “You never know. Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club Recap: Is This the Most Nauseating Reality Show on TV?

Last week, we described Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club as “the kind of trainwreck it’s easy to look away from.” That may sound hyperbolic, but the show’s first episode was a mess in every sense of the word. The biggest complaint among viewers was that the premiere episode had very little to do with Lindsay at all. In fact, it seemed that her name had been used as a hook to help MTV sell Real World: Mykonos to an audience that’s increasingly uninterested in the “sweaty co-eds sexually harass one another” subgenre of reality television. When Lindsay did appear on camera (usually filmed in extreme soft-focus of course), she flounced onto the scene to pass judgment on young people who’s misbehavior paled in comparison to hers at the same age. Her goal in appearing on the show (in addition to drawing a much-needed paycheck, of course) seemed to be twofold: It provided a venue for both advertising her re-invention to the world (Did you know Lindsay meditates twice a day now? Because she’ll happily tell you all about it.), and for further re-inventing herself as a self-described “boss bitch” in the style of Lisa Vanderpump. Of course, Lisa is 26 years Lindsay’s senior, and with several decades’ experience in the restaurant industry, she’s much better-equipped to handle an unruly staff of wannabe models. This vast discrepancy of experience and ability was on full display Tuesday night, as Lindsay discovered the hard way that jotting down a bunch of meaningless slogans and boasting that she’s friends with Oprah would not be enough to help her earn the respect of her young staff. Last week, Lindsay’s lackey Panos berated a female employee for doing exactly what she was told to do (party with guests, get them to spend money), while simultaneously praising a male employee, Brent, for publicly making out with a female customer at what appeared to be about 2 in the afternoon. This week, Lindsay was shocked when Brent refused to sensuously wipe the feet of an elderly male guest.   “The fact Brent has the audacity to just walk away, is this really happening?” said Lohan. “This is not the Brent Show, this is Lindsay Lohan. He doesn’t get to do that.” Here’s the thing — when you encourage your employees to incorporate their sexuality into their job responsibilities (as Lindsay and Panos did when they praised Brent for trying to f–k a customer), you can’t be surprised when they’re uninterested in tasks that don’t fit with their proclivities. So Lindsay and Panos were wrong to come down on Brent for not wanting to wipe a stranger’s feet, as he was never told that such a task would be among his job responsibilities. That said, dude fully deserves to be sent packing for what happened next. He previously expressed interest in housemate Sara, but she appears to be more interested in Billy, a co-worker who seems to have been silently shoehorned into the cast just in time for the second episode (which appears to take place several weeks after the first). Feeling jilted, Brent let loose with the following tirade: “We are in a house of all ugly girls, they’re all ugly. I’m surrounded by 2s, you’re a 5, maybe a 6, but in the house you’re a 10 because there’s no one else to look at. We’re going to gay clubs, we’re going to clubs with six old men and I needed to nut. “The fact that Sara has the power is a joke. I don’t even think Sara is that attractive. Honey, if you were coming to Vegas, I wouldn’t look twice to you. Maybe 7 pounds less, I’d talk to her. Now I feel like Sara’s gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe that won’t go away.” Thankfully, the cast responded by dousing Brent in booze, but the fact that he wasn’t immediately sent packing speaks volumes about the culture of this show and the utter lack of f–ks Lindsay has for the integrity of her latest business venture. Oh, and during all of this, Lindsay was hosting a swanky dinner party, during which a guest compared her to Martha Stewart. (Ed. note: LOLOLOLOL!) This prompted Lindsay to remark, “I’m not Martha Stewart, I’ve already been to jail.” Ugh. Is Lindsay, 1. still talking about that time she was briefly locked up ten years? and 2. unaware that Martha has been to prison. We can’t with this show. Teen Mom Young & Pregnant: NOT Canceled! Actually Coming Back For Another Season!

Did you watch the first season of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant ? If not, you’re certainly not alone. Like Bristol Palin, Young & Pregnant didn’t turn out to be the ratings juggernaut the Teen Mom franchise is so desperately seeking these days. Despite the fact that the show failed to take off in the same way as its predecessors, it apparently attracted a large enough audience to warrant a second chance. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup is reporting today that Young & Pregnant has officially been renewed for a second season. “The people behind the scenes of the show got notice in late November that MTV was giving [ Young & Pregnant ] another season,” a source tells The Ashley. “They were supposed to start filming in January, but they started early. Most of the girls have been filming for Season 2 since mid-December.” There were rumors of Young and Pregnant being renewed over the summer, but apparently, MTV didn’t reach the decision to order more episodes until November. Now, for contractual reasons, Season 2 isn’t really Season 2, but Season 1B. It’s a clever workaround that MTV and Viacom use to avoid having to renegotiate contracts every year. But despite the fact that they didn’t get a chance to hold out for more money, all of the moms will be returning for Teen Mom Young & Pregnant Season 1B. (You know a franchise has been around for a long time when it starts delivering mouthful titles like that one.) Ashley Jones, Lexi Tatman, Brianna Jaramillo, Jade Cline and Kayla Sessler are all currently filming. If there was a standout in season 1A, it was likely Jones, whose feud with Farrah Abraham made her a fan favorite on Instagram. (Of course, that only happened after Jones befriended Farrah, which made her quite unpopular for a time.) Rumors that Young & Pregnant had been canceled began to circulate back in November. These were the result not only of ratings that started out low and declined throughout the season, but also of a cryptic Instagram post from Jones that seemed to indicate the show had come to an end. “Well ladies, here goes my heartfelt post about what an honor its been to be apart of a TV show with you girls,” Ashley wrote. “So grateful that our cast is full of love and understanding, and when times get hard we all reach out…It’s been a long emotional journey. But that’s a wrap. Wouldn’t have done it any other way.” So either she was mistaken or MTV execs had a change of heart. Either way, get ready for more Young & Pregnant (if you’re among the very few who watched the first season, that is). Abby Lee Miller: Dance Moms is OFFICIALLY Back for Season 8!

Back in November, we saw  Abby Lee Miller back in the  Dance Moms  studio  despite her battle with cancer. It was immediately clear to fans that she was signaling her return to the series. Now, she confirms that she’s back with  Dance Moms  — and reveals when they begin filming Season 8. Abby Lee Miller shared this photo, displaying her excitement, alongside a caption filled with good news. “OMG!” she exclaims. “Can you believe I’m going to film Season 8 of Dance Moms!” We can believe it, and we’ve known for a while now. But it is very nice to have confirmation. “Yes, it’s official!” Abby confirms. She then shares a detail: “We begin the end of Jan!” It’s been a good long while since viewers saw Miller on Dance Moms. A huge part of that has been Miller’s very real-life drama. In the summer of 2017, she reported to prison for bankruptcy fraud. She was out of prison and staying in a halfway home when she underwent emergency surgery for sudden paralysis. That was when she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of cancer that is rare in adults. She has been undergoing treatment for months, and has had an additional emergency surgery. That was not the only reason that some expected that Miller would never return to the show, however. Just months before her incarceration, Miller posted a furious rant to Instagram, detailing her grievances with Lifetime. “The majority of children that follow me may be fast asleep, however now is the critical time to make the following statement,” Miller began. “I WILL NO LONGER TAKE PART IN DANCE MOMS,” she declared in March of 2017. “FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS/ SEVEN SEASONS I HAVE ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT,” she wrote. She wanted credit “FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING – TO NO AVAIL!” “I don’t have a problem working with any kid,” Miller emphasized.  “I love children,” she claimed. “And have dedicated my life to making other people’s children successful!” “I JUST HAVE A PROBLEM WITH BEING MANIPULATED, DISRESPECTED, AND USED – DAY IN AND DAY OUT,” she declared. She said that this was perpetrated “BY MEN WHO NEVER TOOK A DANCE LESSON IN THEIR LIVES AND TREAT WOMEN LIKE DIRT!” Clearly, she and Lifetime have patched things up to some degree. She’s back in the studio and, soon, will be back on camera. Abby Lee Miller has been controversial for many years, largely over her treatment of the children on her show. Many fans of Dance Moms hope that her experiences have softened her approach to how to speak to and instruct children. Regardless of her reputation, we of course wish her a full recovery from her cancer. Miller is currently dealing with a degree of paralysis that, as fans have seen on social media, has her making use of a wheelchair. We hope that viewers will be sensitive to her situation when the new season finally airs. In the mean time, it’s encouraging to hear that it’s officially filming. Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick Reality Show: Actually on Tap?!?

While Scott Disick flaunting his relationship with Sofia Richie has caused some problems in the past, things with Kourtney Kardashian are okay these days. Actually, it’s better than okay, since he went with his girlfriend and ex to vacation in Cabo with their kids. This is just the beginning — because the three of them are set to appear in a brand new reality series. RadarOnline has huge news for Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans … and for anyone else who likes drama. Apparently, Kourtney and Scott are gearing up for their very own spin-off that will cover their dating lives. The insider says that it will be the “most intriguing soap opera or spinoff plotline of KUWTK right now.” That makes sense — it’s been a little while since we last saw a new spinoff. But between Scott’s romance with Sofia Richie and Kourtney’s various dating adventures, it’s sure to catch people’s attention. If you’ve been following Scott’s social media, you know that he and Kourtney and Sofia all vacationed together in Cabo. They did it for the kids … but it looks like a certain momager knew that it would be great fodder for viewers, too. “Kris wouldn’t not let this be filmed,” the source reveals. She made sure that cameras were following them on vacation “because it will be great for ratings.” Kris Jenner is an absolute wonder. Sofia and Kourtney have both been reportedly at odds with each other at one time or another. Kourtney was said to feel a little weirded out that a then-19-year-old was playing stepmom to her kids. Sofia was reportedly feeling a little insecure about Scott’s co-parenting relationship with his extremely hot ex. They have a lot of history. These days, however, they’re doing much better together. The source says of Sofia: “she is actually getting a kick out of seeing Scott try to keep his cool right now.” Scott is the guy vacationing with his kids, his girlfriend, and his ex. “It is hilarious to her,” the inside adds. “And she knows it will be great for next season.” When it comes to this spin-off, it sounds like everyone who needs to agree has already done so. Sofia is said to be “on board.” As for Scott? Well, sources say that “he won’t be given much of a choice.” It may be part of his Keeping Up With The Kardashians contract, or that line may simply refer to family pressure. Can you imagine resisting Kris Jenner’s will? I can’t. This will be a great opportunity for branding for this couple — and will also help them make some cash. Scott’s dating life these days is all about Sofia, and has been for over a year. (Can you imagine if he’d had cameras following him everywhere in 2017, especially in Cannes?) But Kourtney isn’t quite tied down in the same way. “Kourtney will be able to include a ton of new characters,” the source points out. For example, the insider notes, men “like her boytoy, Luka Sabbat.” Kourt’s neighborly friend who has also been a romantic interest, Travis Barker, will apparently be part of the arrangement, too. Kourtney, Scott, Sofia, and Kourtney’s guy pals won’t be the only ones getting some camera time. The source shares that the spin-off will feature “a ton of behind-the-scenes assistance and hangers on.” These are people “who don’t get much airtime on the main show.” That sounds like an amazing opportunity for them. Amber Portwood: Secretly Married to Andrew Glennon?!

Amber Portwood … What a roller coaster ride her whole entire life has been, huh? She’s dealt with a very serious drug addiction, she’s been to prison for domestic violence. She was in a relationship with serious creeper Matt Baier for a few years, and that alone is just a nightmare to consider. She’s been through so much in her life, but fortunately, things seem to be settling down for a little bit now. Her relationship with Andrew Glennon has lasted for over a year now , and that’s something, right? Sure, he has a sketchy past with two separate restraining orders from two different exes . And yeah, lots of Teen Mom fans get a weird, unsettling vibe whenever he appears on the show. And all right, yes, it’s still super strange that he apparently met her while she was an absolute train wreck on Marriage Boot Camp with Mat Baier, saw her acting like a monster, and thought ‘wow, I have to get to know her.'” There are just lots and lots of red flags when it comes to Andrew, but hey, at least he’s not hiding a bunch of kids and obviously stealing her money like Matt. They also share a precious little baby boy, James , so that’s neat. Yep, these days, Amber is living her life as a full-time mom to James — she has Leah, too, of course, but her ex, Gary Shirley, has had primary custody of her for a long, long time. It seems like the little family has been going back in forth between Amber’s home state of Indiana and Andrew’s work in Malibu, which she’s been loving. And now, thanks to a new statement from Amber, it sounds like they’ve got something else going on, too. Are these two already married?! They’ve discussed marriage on Teen Mom OG, of course and honestly, Amber hasn’t seemed to be too into the idea. For example, during last season’s reunion, Andrew brought up the idea of a surprise proposal, and she shut it down pretty quickly. They’ve also mentioned in interviews that they don’t have any plans to marry anytime soon. She’s been content just being together without any formal commitment, which is fine, obviously. But has it all been a lie? Have they already gotten married, and for whatever reason, are they hiding it? Lots of people think so after a live video Amber made on Instagram last night. In the video, she brought up the subject of the wildfires that have been raging in California — the ones that burned the Bachelor mansion down . Answering one of her followers, she said “Yes, I have heard about the fires in Malibu and Calabasas.” “And my hubby is freaking out because his mom’s house is in Malibu and he has a lot of family that lives around that area.” She have a little update on that situation on Twitter after that, explaining that “Andrew’s family had to evacuate their home in Malibu.” It’s great that they were able to get to safety, and now that we know they’re all fine, we can focus on that one little word that Amber slipped in there. You know the one. So Amber called Andrew her “hubby” — short for husband, if you just managed to get an internet connection for that rock you’ve been living under. This could mean a couple of things. One, as we said earlier, they could already be married. Maybe Amber didn’t want any more criticism for moving so fast with Andrew — she got plenty of it when her big pregnancy news came out. Or maybe it’s just that she’s living a more private life in general. There’s also a chance that they’re saving the big reveal for Teen Mom OG. That would actually make a lot of sense, considering the show’s ratings haven’t been too stellar this season . Two, and this is the not-so-fun option, Amber could just be throwing words around. Lots of people call their boyfriends their “hubby,” and it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re married. They’ve discussed marriage on Teen Mom OG, of course and honestly, Amber hasn’t seemed to be too into the idea. For example, during last season’s reunion, Andrew brought up the idea of a surprise proposal, and she shut it down pretty quickly. They’ve also mentioned in interviews that they don’t have any plans to marry anytime soon. She’s been content just being together without any formal commitment, which is fine, obviously. But has it all been a lie? Have they already gotten married, and for whatever reason, are they hiding it? Lots of people think so after a live video Amber made on Instagram last night. In the video, she brought up the subject of the wildfires that have been raging in California — the ones that burned the Bachelor mansion down . Answering one of her followers, she said “Yes, I have heard about the fires in Malibu and Calabasas.” “And my hubby is freaking out because his mom’s house is in Malibu and he has a lot of family that lives around that area.” She have a little update on that situation on Twitter after that, explaining that “Andrew’s family had to evacuate their home in Malibu.” It’s great that they were able to get to safety, and now that we know they’re all fine, we can focus on that one little word that Amber slipped in there. You know the one. So Amber called Andrew her “hubby” — short for husband, if you just managed to get an internet connection for that rock you’ve been living under. This could mean a couple of things. One, as we said earlier, they could already be married. Maybe Amber didn’t want any more criticism for moving so fast with Andrew — she got plenty of it when her big pregnancy news came out. Or maybe it’s just that she’s living a more private life in general. There’s also a chance that they’re saving the big reveal for Teen Mom OG. That would actually make a lot of sense, considering the show’s ratings haven’t been too stellar this season . Two, and this is the not-so-fun option, Amber could just be throwing words around. Lots of people call their boyfriends their “hubby,” and it doesn’t necessarily mean they’re married. Chip and Joanna Gaines are about to take a new step in their professional lives. And it’s a significant one. The former HGTV stars announced on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday that they will soon make their long-awaited return to television. In what context? In what way? The beloved couple remained mostly mum on the subject while chatting with the comedian last night. “We signed a non-disclosure and it said quote unquote you can tell your mother but that’s it,” Chip joked on air, adding: “So mom, I just wanted to make a quick announcement, we are coming back to television. “You are going to get to see the kids grow up, you are going to see us, well maybe a six-month delay like the rest of the world, but we are excited to be back.” Just over a year ago, Chip and Joanna announced that would be leaving Fixer Upper after five seasons . Since then, the home renovation experts have been rather busy in their own home, having welcomed their fifth child in late June. However, Magnolia spokesman John Marsicano talked to People Magazine and offered a lot more detail on what the future holds for his co-workers: “We’re excited to share that we are currently in the early stages of talking with Discovery about a lifestyle-focused media network for Magnolia. “The details surrounding this opportunity remain a work in progress, but together, our hope is to build a different kind of platform for unique, inspiring and family-friendly content.” Speaking to Fallon, Chip did add the following: “I think we’re really going to carve it out in a way that really makes sense to us and our families. “It’ll be filmed a lot in Waco, Texas, so we don’t have to travel a whole lot. All things being equal, we could not be more excited.” Chip and Joanna hosted the top-rated show on HGTV prior to leaving the small screen. Fans fell in love with how they remade various homes, but also with how they joked around and interacted with each other. The upcoming new network will be the latest addition to Chip and Joanna’s gigantic list of successful businesses. This includes their lifestyle magazine The Magnolia Journal, the new Magnolia Table restaurant and the couple’s product line at Target. Despite bidding farewell to Fixer Upper in April, Chip and Joanna have remained very active in the business world. “The show was amazing and we are so thankful for it, but it’s also a whirlwind where, if you are not careful, it will flat run you over,” Chip told People in October.
