Big Brother Recap: Another Twist Revealed

Tensions in the Big Brother house tend to skyrocket as we edge closer to an eviction, and things went into overdrive on the latest episode.  We picked up with the houseguests in shock over Josh publicly slamming Cody and Jessica. Alex noted that she was happy to let the argument rage on because it took the target off her own back.  Jessica chanted that Josh was a mere pawn for both sides of the house and that he should probably go and change his diaper. Cody decided there was no point in continuing the argument and walked off.  Paul followed and complimented him for taking his nomination like a man. Despite their differences, both of them knew when the other made a good move.  Later, Christmas gathered the houseguests and revealed that she needed major surgery on her foot. She explained that she was given the opportunity to leave the game, but she decided to stay in and fight it out.  Cody did not give a damn and felt like she was using the injury to advance her game further, and left the situation. Jessica, however, wanted to extend the olive branch to her.  Even though Jessica’s been Cody’s shadow all season long, she knew she needed to build relationships out with her relationship in order to make it further.  Christmas was not impressed with the way Jessica was going on about her reasons for wanting Christmas out. The funny thing is, Jessica had no clue about nominating Christmas.  It was a tense meeting, but the two women parted ways. There’s no chance of them ever finding a way to get along. Too much has been done for them to make things right.  Things went from bad to worse for Jessica when the houseguests celebrated Dominique’s birthday. Raven had made a cake, and the have nots did not get too have some.  Naturally, Jessica disappeared to another room and cried her heart out. Cody comforted her, but at least he got to eat cake.  Desperate to help Jessica’s game, Cody turned to Christmas to say that Mark and Dominique were in on the plan to get rid of Christmas from the get-go. Christmas was skeptical but took the information on board. He even went as far as telling her to work with Alex and Jessica. He may seem deluded at times, but at least he’s looking out for his girl. His plan took a bigger turn when he opened up about two people coming to him during his HOH reign. He revealed this to the house during Dominique’s talk show.  However, Dominique made a mistake by telling everyone there was a dominant group in the house and Paul was pissed. Everyone wondered why she would say something like that, but she did.  The target is most definitely on her now. It’s amazing how quickly things change in the game. One wrong thing can seal your fate.  At the eviction, Christmas was not present but managed to vote from the hospital. Yes, this is getting out of hand now. – Jessica votes to evict Ramses – Kevin votes to evict Ramses – Christmas (via phone from the hospital) votes to evict Ramses – Raven votes to evict Cody – Dominique votes to evict Cody – Mark votes to evict Cody – Jason votes to evict Cody – Josh votes to evict Cody – Elena votes to evict Cody – Matt votes to evict Cody The biggest shock in the voting was that Christmas voted to evict Ramses. It was bizarre and proved she could not be trusted.  Cody was evicted by a vote of 7-3-0! On his way out the door, he asked Jessica to be his girlfriend. To the surprise of absolutely no one, she accepted.  Julie then dropped the bomb that there will be a Battle Back next week, and Cody looked ecstatic. You could see wheels spinning as he plotted his revenge.  What did you think of all the drama? Sound off below! View Slideshow: Big Brother Winners: RANKED!

Big Brother Recap: Taking Shots

The veto meetings have long been a hilarious part of Big Brother. Emotions are heightened at the veto meetings because whatever is said during the gathering can dictate someone’s place in the game.  Through two veto meetings, we have had some of the most explosive confrontations yet, and it’s pretty darn exciting for us at home to watch.  When the episode got underway, Josh and Alex were on the block, and Cody confided in Jessica about Paul’s plan. They seemed to think Christmas and Paul were bullies.  Being an avid fan of the live feeds, all I’ve seen over the course of the summer is Jessica and Cody causing drama and thinking they are big competitors.  It’s true, they are just not good players, and they think that everyone else is bullying them. That says it all.  Anyway.  We finally got to find out what curse Christmas sent to Jason, Cody, and Jessica, and it was fantastic. They had to wear toad costumes for a whole week.  Jessica noted in the Diary Room that she was sure it was Christmas who unleashed the curse, but there was never really any question about it.  All the other houseguests could do was laugh at the players looking like fools.  Jessica and Cody knew they were toast if neither of them got to play in the veto and their worst fears came true when Elena and Matt were picked to play.  Jessica revealed that her only hope was that Ramses would win and take himself off because it would leave the nominations the same.  Paul and his team quickly locked on to Ramses and persisted with him to throw the competition, but Ramses made poor excuses and said he did not know what he would do.  In the end, he agreed to it, but when it came to the competition, he managed to come in second place. That immediately put him on the outs with Paul and his allies.  Thankfully, Paul eked out a win, and it gave him the power to change one of the nominations. As expected, Cody made his way to the block.  Josh, however, decided to self-destruct once again and called out both Jessica and Cody about the way they have played the game.  It was a classless move, but it was something Jessica and Cody would do, so I was all for it. Now, the final nominations are set.  Will it be Ramses, Alex or Cody sitting next to Julie tonight? Hit the comments below! View Slideshow: Big Brother Season 19: Cast Revealed!

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta Season 6 Episode 16 Recap: Is Kirk the Father?

Viewers have been clamoring to learn the truth about the paternity of Jasmine Washington’s baby, and we finally got some answers about it on Love & Hip Hop Season 6 Episode 16 .  If you watch Love & Hip Hop online , you will know that Jasmine has been at odds with many of those close to her over the persistent baby daddy rumors.  When the episode got underway, Kirk was at odds with Shirleen as the trip to Jamaica reached a conclusion. Al Shirleen wanted was for Kirk to admit all of the bad things he did to Rasheeda.  Hey, it’s not too much to ask after all of the crap she has been put through this season alone. Kirk decided it was best to go on the offensive and blamed Shirleen for trying to break up the family.  Um, is Kirk deluded? Why would he even think to trash Shirleen at a moment like this? This should make Rasheeda’s decision about him a little easier.  Shirleen seemed to think that the best course of action was to leave the situation, because, well, she did not want to be called a homewrecker.  Rasheeda caught up with her mother back in Atlanta, and things were not great.  That’s the first time I’ve ever seen him that mad and I don’t know why he’s mad at me. The most important thing is the DNA. Everybody else asks him that question,” Shirleen explains, apparently still irate about the whole thing.  Rasheeda went on to chat about Kirk giving her a breakdown of his money and properties in the event they were going ahead with a separation.  Rasheeda then noticed a letter from Jasmine, apologizing for everything that’s happened since she appeared on the scene.  “You destroyed my life. I don’t f**k with you,” Rasheeda revealed in her confessional while saying the DNA test results were enclosed.  Logan is NOT the father, meaning Kirk is a fair bet to be the man we all thought he was.  Elsewhere, Tammy Rivera organized a meeting between Tommie and her mother, Samantha. Yes, this was always going to be a drama-filled moment for the series.  Tommie has so much anger towards Samantha for not being around for much of her young life, so it made sense that they would at least try to right the ship.  Deb appeared and went toe-to-toe with Samantha for not listening to Tommie. Instead, she only seemed concerned with saying she was away for a reason.  In the end, Samantha and Tommie managed to fix their relationship, but something tells us they are not going to be friendly this soon.  Finally, Stevie J met up with Joseline to attempt to work things out. He was still annoyed about the way Joseline treated his daughters and felt like she needed to apologize.  Joseline did not let him get a word in, saying he should go to New York to appear on Wendy Williams and to fire his new artist, Estelita Quintero. No, we’re not kidding. Petty? Yes. Typical Joseline? Of course.  When Stevie decided to not agree to Joseline’s terms, she threatened that she would move to Miami, but Stevie stood his ground and told her to stop using Bonnie Bella as a piece of the puzzle.  Later, Stevie revealed he would continue to support Estelita Quintero, and his daughters were ecstatic.  However, Joseline revealed she may not appear on the show ever again after some drama with production.  What do you think about all of this? The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 8 Recap: Did Ashley Save Her Restaurant?

Admitting defeat is never the easiest option for anyone, and Ashley Darby is learning that the hard way with her floundering restaurant.  On The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 8 , Ashley tried to make some changes to the restaurant, but Michael was not impressed with these and made it known.  Watch The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 2 Episode 8 Online Let’s just get this out of the way: “War of the Darbys” was an apt title for this episode. Finally, after all this time, we got confirmation that things between Ashley and Michael were just not right. It resulted in the best episode of the series yet and gave me hope that this iteration of the franchise had a pulse.  When the episode got underway, Ashley and Michael were still bickering over whether to close the restaurant down and cut their losses.  With Ashley against the idea of giving up, presumably because it is all being televised, she tried to think of ways to bring her restaurant back from the brink.  She decided to cancel the Australian aspect of the menu, which did not go down well with Michael. The reason? He only invested in the first place because of the Australian part. Ashley opted to have her fellow housewives sample the new menu to give her feedback on what was working. With the tension rising, Ashley got on the phone and started bickering with Michael once again.  Ashley felt like it was time to separate if he did not support her, but this threat did not go down well with Michael. Why the heck would it? Ashley has been doing things without consulting her husband and business partner.  Monique stayed away from the drama and attended the rebrand of the restaurant with her husband. The other women, however, picked up on all of the tension.  They knew fine well the restaurant was failing and wanted to make sure she was okay. Surprisingly, Ashley made her way to Monique and asked for assistance with her marriage.  Ashley subsequently declared that she would not hesitate to leave Michael if he did not change his stance on her meddling ways.  Um, alright then.  Elsewhere, Monique and Karen went on a trip to a golf course, and it allowed them to chat about what went down at Karen’s speech.  Monique felt iced out by Gizelle because she tried to play nice with her. As expected, Gizelle ditched her and did not want to include her in any social gathering. Later, Karen and Gizelle went on a double date. Karen’s husband basically told Gizelle she was getting too old, so she should settle for her date.  Gizelle looked pissed, but it seemed like she got the message loud and clear. She decided to wear leopard out on the date, and something must have gone right because she was all smiles.  Now, we’re leaving the stars in an exciting place. There are a lot of questions up in the air. Will the ladies be able to play nice? Will Ashley and Michael split? What do you think of all the drama? Sound off below! The Voice Results: Who Survived the Bloodbath?

Monday night, The Voice top eight performances showed America everything the remaining contenders have left in the tank on NBC. Only four would survive … making this the mother of all results shows. So who would outlast the rest and who would fall by the wayside? In The Voice’s ever-changing, never-uninteresting format: Three artists of the final eight automatically advanced to the finale, while the bottom two were eliminated right off the bat Tuesday night. That left the remaining three artists had to battle it out for the instant save, so in that way it ended on the same note as previous weeks. The first artist to advance to the Season 12 finale, as per The Voice results unveiled last night, was … Team Alicia’s Chris Blue! Chris secured his second consecutive four-coach standing ovation the previous night, so that was hardly a surprise, or a fluke. Next up and on her way to the final episode of the season was Team Blake’s Lauren Duski. A job very well done by the singer. Carson Daly then announced the results that sent a third artist straight through to next week … Team Blake’s Aliyah Moulden. And then there were six … after Team Blake’s TSoul and Team Alicia’s Vanessa Ferguson were both eliminated just like that. That left the fans with the following three: 1. Team Adam’s Jesse Larson 2. Team Gwen’s Hunter Plake 3. Team Gwen’s Brennley Brown  Three singers, one spot and one song. Brown performed Demi Lovato’s ‘Warrior,” putting her own stamp on it and showcasing the range of talent that got her to this point. Plake performed “Love Runs Out” by OneRepublic, with some creativity that many felt was lacking from his performance Monday. Larson performed “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton, and his impressive vocals were enough to earn those coveted tweets. Jesse advanced to the finale, keeping Team Adam’s hopes alive and eliminating Team Gwen in one fell swoop. So the field is set. The top four artists will compete in next week’s The Voice finale. What did you think of The Voice results? Did America get it right?

Dancing With the Stars Results: A Semifinal Shocker! What is Up With This Show?!

One of Dancing With the Stars’ most controversial seasons in history is coming down the home stretch, and it’s still anyone’s title to grab. Just not one of the favorites. Oh yes. Having already seen the elimination of Heather Morris , we were treated to another results shocker Monday night on the parquet. Rashad Jennings, David Ross, Normani Kordei and Simone Biles have made it to the final four, vying to join the illustrious list of winners. This week, the fab four and their respective partners would dance twice, and one dancer would be sent home before next week’s finale. Let’s see how they did … and stunning Dancing with the Stars results awaited us at the end of the night (this was a real doozy, people). David Ross and Lindsay Arnold Unquestionably the weakest of the final four (still, to even make the final four is impressive), the ballplayer struggled a touch on the Foxtrot. Just the same, he’s progressed so much, and his tango to “Castle on a Hill” was up there with the most memorable routines of the year. Judges Challenge: 34/40 Unlearned Dance: 36/40 Total: 70! Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy The Fifth Harmony member stumbled a bit during her Viennese Waltz, but that was barely perceptible. But then she achieved perfection. Her jazz routine set to “What a Wonderful World” earned a standing ovation and was as good as any routine on any season. Judges Challenge: 36/40  Unlearned Dance: 40/40 Total: 76! Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater The NFL running back turned in a strong rumba, and an even stronger quickstep, continuing to show improvement week in and week out. A dark horse contender to win this thing, he’s flown under the radar at times, but showed real grit, charisma and progression as well. That’s a formula for a Mirror Ball. Judges Challenge: 38/40 Unlearned Dance: 39/40 Total: 77! Simone Biles and Sasha Farber After last week’s iconic “ smiling doesn’t win gold medals ” comment, Simone set out to have some fun doing the jive, and she delivered. Biles landed her first perfect score, then added another in the form of a rumba that also showcased her personality and her talents. Judges Challenge: 40/40 Unlearned Dance: 40/40 Total: 80! So naturally, at the end of Monday’s episode, Simone was the one to be sent home. We wish we were kidding, but that’s DWTS for you. View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: 9 Most Shocking Eliminations After Heather Morris’ exit, and to a degree Nancy Kerrigan’s, Simone looked all but assured of a place in this season’s final four. We know, two shocking ousters shouldn’t preclude a third, but given her place among these four, how could she not make it? Then to put together an 80/80 on top of that … what gives? Apparently, David Ross’ votes outweighed Biles’ in spite of all that. Half of the scores that determine who gets voted off come from fans, so Ross must have accumulated A LOT more of those. Shame. Brandy’s exit back in Season 11, and perhaps Morris’ a few weeks earlier this spring, were equally bad, but this? This? It may go down as the strangest of the strange Dancing With the Stars results we’ve seen over the show’s 24 seasons on air . View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: All the Winners!

Teen Mom OG Recap: The Trust is Just Knot There

Last night on  Teen Mom OG Season 4 Episode 7 , Tyler found out some new intel about Butch, and changed his outlook on life somewhat. How did that help, or hurt, his wife Catelynn? Watch Teen Mom OG Season 4 Episode 7 Online Meanwhile, Farrah questioned her mom’s relationship with her fiancé, and Ryan clashed with Maci about where Bentley spends time. Finally, Amber Portwood tried on wedding dresses, but it was not everything that she thought it would be. Quite the contrary in fact. If you  watch Teen Mom OG online , or read any celebrity gossip all, you know that Amber’s relationship with Matt Baier is … tumultuous. That’s about as nicely as we can put it, too. So perhaps it’s fitting that amid real-time reports that Matt cheated on Amber and failed a lie detector test, we saw this Monday night: Amber, trying on wedding dresses in preparation for what should be the most special day of her life, experiencing serious cold feet. While trying on a wedding gown with her neighbor and friend, Amber reflected to the MTV show’s producers about how far she’s come. No question, she and Matt Baier have gone through a lot already, and from the moment they met (and because of how they met, in part). Beyond the fact that Matt Baier has 7-9 kids (accounts vary), the Teen Mom fanboy previously tried to bang Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham .  Yeah. It doesn’t get any less weird with time. To many fans, watching Portwood become unsure if she wants to marry him anymore feels like a long time coming for a reason. Whether this foreshadows the end of Amber and Matt, or whether they will ride this out and defy expectations as they have in the past? Very much unclear. But it doesn’t look good. These two make Farrah Abraham look borderline stable if that’s possible, even as she’s warring with her mother Debra (oh yes, again). Debra is marrying a man whom she barely knows, in Farrah’s mind, and the Teen Mom: OG star has obvious reservations about this. Fortunately, Farrah and Debra found some common ground instead of Farrah telling her mom to f–king die like she sometimes does. They bashed Farrah’s nanny. #Solidarity. Meanwhile, in Michigan, Tyler received a call from his dad, Butch, looking to get in touch with Dr. Drew Pinsky to help him stop relapsing. Dr. Drew, the MTV staple, admirably told Butch to get into a real program, as he never really committed to one after getting out of prison. Given the fact that he took some initiative at least, Tyler is more optimistic about his dad’s recovery and chances to turn things around. After everything he’s going through with Catelynn, the couple could use a little good fortune, and we hope this positive trend continues. It’s remarkable that they’re doing so well, considering. Finally, Ryan Edwards’ family clashed with Maci Bookout when they heard she doesn’t want Bentley sleeping at Jen and Larry‘s anymore. Maci’s take was that her son should stay at his dad’s house instead; Ryan and his fiancee, Mackenzie Standifer , were equally livid though. The future newlyweds refused to go to an Escape Room event with Maci and her husband, Taylor McKinney, as the tensions mounted. Just when you thought they had turned a corner, too. View Slideshow: Teen Mom & Teen Mom 2: The Complete Babies and Children Guide! Larry started to go OFF about this as the cameras rolled, bashing Maci Bookout to the point where Jen had to get him to cool off a bit. Perhaps this is why Ryan’s fiancee got pissed at MTV before the season started? Does she think the network isn’t telling the whole story. It’s unclear, but hopefully Edwards, Bookout and their respective families are able to iron out these disputes and move forward together. Bentley should come first, after all.
