The 2014 Grammy Awards featured an eclectic mix of live performances from the likes of Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Macklemore and Kendrick Lamar . Popular and diverse acts from across every genre came together at Staples Center to help celebrate the biggest night in music, and rarely did they disappoint. Well … don’t tell that to NIN’s Trent Reznor , who was cut off, and then WENT OFF on the CBS telecast for curtailing what was to be his own live effort last night. Aside from Trent though … great stuff all around. From Beyonce and Jay Z getting freaky to a Lorde Grammy performance that showcased a possible legend in the making, these Grammys had it all. Kenya goes HAM on fraudy Apollo! Kenya Moore Slams Phaedra And Apollo After Fraud Arrest Via UB Magazine reports: We knew it was only a matter of time before Kenya Moore would publicly find pleasure in Apollo Nida’s recent arrest and new batch of serious legal problems. As we reported recently, Nida was charged with bank fraud and identity theft . A woman who claimed to have been his partner in various and alleged fraudulent schemes gave him up to the feds after she was caught in the act, and she claims they have been committing the crimes since 2009, the same year he married Phaedra Parks. We’re assuming Kenya feels validated by the recent news, so she took to her Twitter account to take shots and tell her followers that the whole situation should be proof that Apollo was not telling the truth about the whole text message situation. Kenya has beefed with the couple in the past but it looks like all her allegations were right. Justin Bieber may have been arrested for DUI yesterday , but can we please take a moment to acknowledge the real victims here. That’s what Jimmy Kimmel last night, reading a few Tweets from Beliebers on air and taking note of one that didn’t wish to “disrespect” the situation, but, well… “Now even criminals in jail get to meet Justin, while we’re still here,” one heartbroken wrote. To which Kimmel hilariously replied: “No one’s talking about the real victims here: the people who aren’t in jail meeting Justin Bieber.” Oh yes, as you might expect, Bieber’s arrest, Bieber’s court hearing and Bieber’s mug shot were all prime material for late-night talk show hosts across the dial. Kordale And Kaleb, Gay Black Dads, Post Family Instagram Photos, Respond to Criticism

An Instagram photo of two gay fathers, Kordale and Kaleb, has gone viral for a number of reasons, some of which you might not expect at first glance. Kordale and Kaleb, who have three kids and a sizable social media, have been receiving homophobic and racist backlash after sharing the image below: The idea of two gay black men raising kids, it seems, is just too much for Twitter to take. Even some positive responses are more like backhanded compliments. Many of the more overtly racist, homophobic Tweets have been removed, but the ones like “finally a black gay couple” are equally as problematic to the duo. Most of the positive feedback hit on two key points: That Kordale and Kaleb are a black gay couple, in general That it was nice to see black men taking care of children Indeed, the controversy surrounding this photo raises many broad cultural questions. Kordale and Kaleb responded to them in a statement to the Huffington Post : As far as the positive; yes we are two gay men with three kids who have no problem with preparing them for their education every morning; that comes with anything and everything they may need for school! Our kids are blessed to have three parents (Kordale, Kaleb and their Mother) who love, care and support them in every decision they have made and will continue to make as they get older. We are blessed to have the ability to provide for them in ways that a lot of people cannot for their family, which ultimately makes us happy knowing that they don’t want for much! Our main objective as parents is to provide, love, educate, support, encourage, and love some more! In regard to the negative, people fail to realize that we are people too with kids who love us. We do what is necessary for them to succeed in this ever-changing world but it’s sad that we’re discriminated against because of our sexuality and/or what we do behind closed doors – which is no one’s business. In the same breath, we take all of what’s been said in stride. The picture was put out on social media for an opinion so we can’t be mad when people give just that: an opinion. People tend to think that gay people cannot raise their children to be heterosexuals. Instead, they have derogatory thoughts of us “tainting” our children or “confusing them” with what society sees deems as wrong an unmanly because we’re gay. But this is all comical because people forget where a lot of gays come from: a heterosexual household. This is another prime example of where we are as a nation in 2014 – continuous discrimination against gays. Being gay is the new normal for a lot of people and judgment isn’t needed, just equality! We may be gay but this does not mean we are incapable of what a heterosexual couple is capable of! Us gays are just as educated and passionate about what we do and how we do it!

Aaron Rodgers: I’m Not Gay! I Really, Really Like Women!

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers surprisingly decided to address the rumors surrounding his sexuality in an interview Tuesday afternoon. The Aaron Rodgers gay rumors stem from an alleged falling out with his personal assistant, but the NFL star told Wisconsin’s ESPN 540 that he’s straight. “I’m just going to say I’m not gay,” he said. “I really, really like women.” Aaron Rodgers Denies Gay Rumors Rodgers has long kept his life away from football guarded, which surely helped fuel speculation that he and Kevin Lanflisi were involved romantically. In Tuesday’s radio sit-down, he mentioned the gay rumors and the broader subject of keeping his personal life private with brevity and a bit of incredulity. “There’s always going to be silly stuff out there in the media and you can’t worry too much about it. I don’t.” Rodgers said, “I just, keep on trucking.” The 30-year-old Super Bowl XLV MVP added that, “I think professional is professional and personal is personal and that’s how I’m going to keep it.” There’s no proof that Rodgers is gay, but his close relationship with Lanflisi, some cryptic tweets and a string of circumstantial “evidence” sparked speculation. Lanflisi has been alluding to the end of a relationship much deeper than a friendship, and he has never had a public relationship with a woman. Kevin Lanflisi: Aaron Rodgers Boyfriend? “All that time spent on ‘us’ is now spent on ‘me,'” Kevin wrote. “I wish you would learn to love people and use things… Not the other way around.” Rodgers and Lanflisi had been best friends and lived together for several years. He also ominously wrote that “silence has an expiration date.” Some Internet theorists then linked this to a report from this past summer, when four gay NFL players were reportedly on the verge of coming out. An unnamed source claims Rodgers was one of them, but backed out “at the last minute,” which led to a rift with a bitter Lanflisi, who has moved out. Rodgers, it should be noted, has been in a relationship with Destiny Newton since 2011, though true to his word, he doesn’t broadcast this at all. Regardless, Rodgers and the Packers will play host to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Lambeau Field in the first round of the NFL Playoffs.
