Courtney Love Shoots Down Robert Pattinson Casting Rumor as "Stupid"

He hasn’t given an interview or done much press in awhile, but Robert Pattinson is at the center of two new rumors. The first is clearly ridiculous: sorry, Gossip Girl fans, but the Twilight Saga star did NOT hook up with Leighton Meester . As for talk that Pattinson was Courtney Love’s first choice to play Kurt Cobain in a movie about the late rocker, the former Hole singer has halted this casting possibility in its track. “Isn’t that so stupid, who would cast him? That’s just wrong, no offense [to Pattinson],” Love told The Canadian Press. “I watched the Twilight stuff very, very recently and I get it, it resonates with the teenage girl in me, I understand epic love of that nature; I write about it all the time. But isn’t that silly?” Love added that she’ll never watch any biopic about Cobain because it would be too painful, but she did list a couple actors she could see in the role: James McAvoy and

Lea Michele: What’s Her Best Look?

What the Twilight Saga has done for vampires, Glee has done for school choirs. It’s almost cool to be a high school singer now, especially when you can look to this Vogue cover for inspiration. Along with other members of the Glee cast , we have Lea Michele to thank for this revolution. The actress is gorgeous, hilarious and crazy talented. But she’s not perfect, as evidenced by her decision to ever wear her hair in bangs. We aren’t fans of the look, which is contrasted below with Lea’s typical style. Compare and let us know if you agree… Which hairstyle do you like best on Lea Michele?

Kellan Lutz Pictures: Into the Shower!

Earlier today, we posted a few photos of Ke$ha from the latest issue of Interview magazine. In a word, those images were strange. In the same edition of that publication, meanwhile, there are a series of Kellan Lutz pictures. In a word, they are HAWT! Asked how he ended up in Hollywood, the Twilight Saga star replied: “I have a lot of older brothers who messed up in different ways in my mother’s eyes. So I learned from all of their mistakes… I always tried to make it a goal to relieve some of the stress my mother went through. I applied myself to school very diligently. I wanted to go out of state so I wouldn’t have to depend on my mother. And L.A., where my father lived, seemed to call to me.” Despite the shot above and the ones below, Lutz insists that he isn’t pretty. “It’s funny when people say you have sex appeal or call you the next Brad Pitt… Why? Because I played a vampire in a movie? It’s all very unearned,” he says. “If I had the best freaking abs in the world or if I looked like Brad Pitt does in Fight Club , then cool, but I’m not starving myself. I eat what I want… I don’t get it, but I appreciate it.” Female admirers all over the world appreciate it, as well. A lot. Ogle more of Kellan below:

Twilight’s Breaking Dawn Finally Found “THE MAN”

The hit movie Twilight has a new director.  Summit entertainment has finally found the best man for the project. Winner for the Best Director in Oscar for the Movie Dreamgirls, Bill Condon is buzzed to be the first choice to create Breaking Dawn to the big screen, according to Entertainment Weekly. Summit Entertainment is also intending to split up fourth instalment into two films in which the book is comprised with 756 pages.  With the first part focusing on Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) marriage and pregnancy, and part two following her transition from mortal to vampire. Considered the series’s most difficult novel to adapt because of its graphic birthing scenes, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg recently told Film.com she doesn’t foresee the final Twilight film being any less teen friendly. “You don’t sacrifice story by cutting language. Nor do you sacrifice story by showing less blood or gore,” she said. “There are some movies that wouldn’t play at PG-13, like The Hangover, but this is just not one of them for me…If you’re capturing character, emotion, and emotional journey, you’re OK.” Before Breaking Dawn hits the box office, The Twilight Saga’s third film, Eclipse, hits theaters June 30. Melissa Rosenberg Says ‘Breaking Dawn’ Will Be PG-13

In a recent interview with Film.com Melissa Rosenberg, screenwriter for the first three Twilight Saga movies, assured that the last chapter in the Saga would be PG-13 and the film would stay true to the book. “In this series, you don’t sacrifice anything,” Rosenberg commented. “There are some movies that wouldn’t play at PG-13, like ‘The Hangover,’ but this is just not one of them for me. Again, if you’re capturing character, emotion and emotional journey, you’re OK.” Rosenberg got the most pressing question of the final installment that we’ve heard lately: Who will direct Breaking Dawn ? “It’s definitely not up to me,” she said during the interview. “I’ve seen lists and weighed in, and they always welcome input, which is lovely, but ultimately it’s [Summit Entertainment’s] decision, and they’ll do what they do, and I’ll work with whomever they choose. I had no knowledge of the first three directors, and it worked. Generally speaking, [the candidates] are people I haven’t worked with before.” {via MTV }

‘Breaking Dawn’ in 3D – Yay Or Nay?

With all the buzz about upcoming releases possibly releasing as 3-D, MTV thought it was wise to get a list going of those said films, one of which is The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn . Here’s the bit about Breaking Dawn from the article. You can check out the rest HERE . During MTV News’ 3-D Week, we’ve suggested films that deserve a conversion into three dimensions (“The Matrix,” “Predator”) and certain scenes we never want to see in 3-D (the birthing scene in “Breaking Dawn,” Leo DiCaprio’s death in “Titanic”). We’ve also previewed the next three years in 3-D releases: animated flicks like “Cars 2,” comic book adaptations like “Green Lantern,” genre works like “Sucker Punch” and more. Now we turn our attention to films we’re not exactly sure will get the 3-D treatment but we have a pretty strong feeling will. From the “Twilight” franchise to big-budget action productions to live-action/animation hybrids, here are the movies we think might well be in 3-D when they hit theaters in the future. “Breaking Dawn”: In February, The Hollywood Reporter announced that Summit Entertainment was exploring the possibility of making the final film — or films, as has also been rumored — in the “Twilight” series into 3-D movies. That possibility has split both the “Twilight” community and the franchise’s cast. Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson seem to find the idea a little nutty, while Ashley Greene is keeping an open mind. {via MTV }
