When are these fools going to be a little more discerning of the hoes they associate with and keep around them? Philadelphia Eagles star Michael Vick is caught up in a naked photo scandal and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details. A woman claiming to have a “full frontal” picture of Vick is shopping it around to various media outlets in an attempt for some financial gain. However, Vick’s camp exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that he has better things to worry about — but doesn’t outright deny that the photo exists. “The only thing Mike has on his mind is his date with the Chicago Bears this evening,” his rep Rick French [told] RadarOnline.com [yesterday]. “The rest of what this woman is claiming isn’t worth dignifying.” According to one website the woman contacted, she told them the photo was easily identifiable as Vick because the unique tattoos “that appear all over his body including his signature super man tatoo [sic].” The woman claims the photo was taken less than a year ago in a hotel room in Dallas, Texas. “He is in the bathroom of the hotel room the night before the game taking the photos of himself,” the woman claims. “It is from the neck down with all tattoos visible.” Forgot about that little detail, huh Mike? ‘It’s looking really great,’ she tells The Hollywood Reporter of 2012 album. By James Montgomery Taylor Swift Photo: Big Machine Records Taylor Swift ‘s Speak Now was released just one year ago, but, from the sound of things, work on the follow-up is already well under way. Last week, Swift told MTV News that she’s “been writing so much for the new record,” adding that she’s “already excited about it,” even though the album won’t see the light of day until 2012. And, in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she revealed even more about the new disc and the songs she’s already penned. “I’ve written 25 songs so far, so it’s coming along really well,” Swift said in the interview. “I’ve been writing a lot, and I like to take two years to make a record. We’re at the end of year one, and I still have a year left to go write. “It’s looking really great,” she added. Whenever the new album is released, it’ll have some lofty company to keep: Swift’s Speak Now opened at #1 on the Billboard albums chart, breaking the 1 million mark in first-week sales. And her previous effort, 2008’s Fearless, also bowed at #1 and has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. Of course, writing songs isn’t the only project on Swift’s plate at the moment. She just launched her first-ever fragrance, Wonderstruck , which, as she explained to us, she hopes will “help play a role in creating some … memories.” She also continues to chug along on her Speak Now Tour , which crisscrosses the continent before coming to a close at the end of November with a pair of sold-out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden. What are you expecting from Taylor’s next album? Let us know in the comments! Related Videos MTV First: Taylor Swift Related Artists Taylor Swift
Mack Maine was reluctant to green-light a second Wayne/ Bow Wow track, producer Detail tells Mixtape Daily. By Rob Markman Lil Wayne Photo: FilmMagic Behind the Beats: Detail Bow Wow has a bone to pick with the industry. After breaking into rap as a kid at the age of 13 in 2000, the now grown-up Bow is feeling a little Underrated, as the title of his upcoming December 6 Cash Money album suggests. For his latest single, “Sweat,” the now 24-year-old Bow Wow recruited Lil Wayne for a feature and producer Detail for the track. “Obviously everybody knows I got a very diverse sound — I can do pop, I can do rock, I can do hip-hop, R&B,” the very confident “How to Love” beatmaker told Mixtape Daily. “For me it’s just a matter of studying the artist and kinda coming up with a formula that’s more natural for them.” On “Sweat,” Detail laid a slow-rolling, pulsating pop track for Bow, who often seems to struggle with getting fans to accept that he is no longer the little pup he once was. Bow sings in Auto-Tune over the track, creating an aura of sexual seduction with his explicit lyrics. Wayne of course adds his unique brand of flirtatious, double-timed raps. As good as the single sounds, Detail told Mixtape Daily that the collaboration almost didn’t come to pass. Wayne and Bow Wow had already cut a record together, and Young Money president Mack Maine was in no big rush to make a second track. That changed when Detail sent him the beat after the two talked at Wayne’s Tha Carter IV release party in Los Angeles. “At Lil Wayne’s Carter IV release party, I was talking to [Maine] about the ‘Sweat’ record. He hadn’t even heard [it]. He was like, ‘[Wayne] already got a record with Bow Wow,’ ” Detail recalled of his and Mack’s conversation. Given Detail’s track record for crafting hit singles with Young Money, Mack agreed to listen to the beat, which the producer sent him right away. “He hit me back and said, ‘Damn that bitch is a beast,’ ” Detail said. “So when he said that, I knew off the top that this motherf—er gonna go.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines .
From Justin’s iced-out grill to his offer to buy a Porsche, Roman White gives MTV News the behind-the-scenes scoop. By James Montgomery Justin Bieber in his “Mistletoe” video Photo: Island/Def Jam Roman White has directed videos for the likes of Seether, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum, but none of those projects prepared him for rather unique challenge of working with Justin Bieber , an artist who demands a certain level of secrecy. Then again, White has been down this path before (he directed the Biebs’ “One Less Lonely Girl” video in 2009). So when it came time for him to shoot the “Mistletoe” video, he was ready — and appropriately tight-lipped. “We were casting, and everything had to be very secretive, so we were literally casting these girls, we couldn’t tell them who it was, and we couldn’t tell them any of the stuff, because we were trying to keep this shoot as much under wraps as we could,” White told MTV News following the premiere of the “Mistletoe” video. “So this girl came out, her name is Allie Williams, and she was my number one pick from the minute she walked in. So I ended up casting her [as Bieber’s love interest], and we went and did the fitting, and I got permission from my producer. … I told her who it was, and she was really excited to be in it, to say the least.” As far as all that secrecy goes, judging by behind-the-scenes footage of the “Mistletoe” shoot, it was all for naught, as hundreds of Bieber fans showed up and squealed their way through the day. “It did not work out so well,” White said, laughing. “But it could’ve been worse!” White also revealed that his previous experience had prepared him for Bieber’s notorious on-set pranks. So when JB showed up sporting a seriously iced-out grill, the director wasn’t shocked. “We were about to start shooting the first scene, and he was walking around, and he had this grill in the bottom of his teeth. It was bedazzled like you wouldn’t believe,” White explained. “He kept walking by me and just smiling a little bit so I would see it. I think he was trying to stress me out, because he knew that I wasn’t really going to want him to wear this glittery grill on the bottom of his teeth. And finally, I was like, ‘We’re not going to wear that, are we?’ ” Now that the “Mistletoe” video has premiered, White let us in on a little secret: There’s a whole lot more riding on it than viewers might imagine — like the Porsche Speedster that Bieber drives in the clip. “When we were shooting the Porsche scene, and I told Justin, ‘We should just buy this car and split it,’ and he was like, ‘If this video wins an MTV Video Music Award, I’ll just buy you one,’ ” White said, laughing. “So I am starting the campaign right now … a Christmas video has probably never won anything, but it’s not about the award, it’s about the car.” Share your thoughts on the “Mistletoe” video in the comments below! ‘Body and Soul’ clip drops at 6 a.m. on MTV, VH1, MTV Hits and mtvU. By Gil Kaufman Amy Winehouse Photo: Epsilon/ Getty Images Fans of late British soul star Amy Winehouse will get a look at the final song and video the “Rehab” singer filmed before her death Wednesday when Tony Bennett releases the clip for the pair’s duet on the jazz standard “Body and Soul.” The clip will premiere at 6 a.m. on MTV, VH1, MTV Hits and mtvU and then repeat on an hourly basis throughout the morning, after which it will be available online on MTV.com. The track and video will drop on what would have been Winehouse’s 28th birthday, and it will show the unique collaboration between the legendary crooner and the beehive-sporting retro soul singer who died July 23 of undetermined causes in her London apartment. The song and video were recorded on March 23 at Abbey Road Studios in London and the proceeds from its sale will be donated to the Amy Winehouse Foundation . “We had a beautiful time recording together in the studio, and I knew that Amy was very happy with how she performed that day,” Bennett said in a statement. “I thought she was absolutely brilliant, and this recording truly captures the essence of her unique artistry. She was a rare talent.” The video footage of the two singing together is bittersweet, with Winehouse looking healthy and alert, twirling her hair coquettishly as she matched him note-for-note on the standard. Wearing one of the plaid sweaters from her Fred Perry fashion collection, her hair in a signature bouffant, a smiling Winehouse held her own with Bennett, trading lines and sharing a warm hug at the end. The recording session was filmed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Dion Beebe (“Chicago,” “Memoirs of a Geisha”) as part of an upcoming documentary on Bennett. The song will appear on the 85-year-old icon’s Duets II, which also features him singing with Lady Gaga, Michael Bubl
