Mark Ganzon/Getty Images for Fenty Beauty Rihanna Is Serious About Not Wanting Trump To Play Her Music This past weekend, political analyst Philip Rucker was tweeting about how amazing Donald Trump’s rallies were because they throw out free T-shirts and blare Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop The Music” and everyone just loves it. Of course, this tweet ended up making the rounds and circled back all the way to Rihanna , who obviously isn’t okay with her music being played anywhere that’s associated with 45. She swiftly tweeted her disapproval and promised that her song wouldn’t be played at “those tragic rallies” for music longer…and Rih meant BUSINESS. Not for much longer…me nor my people would ever be at or around one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the heads up philip! https://t.co/dRgRi06GrJ — Rihanna (@rihanna) November 5, 2018 According to the people over at TMZ , the star really did fire off a cease and desist letter to the cheeto-in-chief after he played “Don’t Stop the Music” at his Sunday rally in Chattanooga, TN. According to the letter, Trump has used Rihanna’s music “in connection with a number of political events held across the United States,” which is deemed “improper” because Rihanna hasn’t given her consent. Trump could ask permission from here on out, but we all know what her answer would be–which is probably why his people didn’t bother approaching her in the first place. This is far from the first time we’ve seen Ms. Fenty get political. Rihanna has remained politically active during this midterm season, and she endorsed Florida candidate Andrew Gillum on Instagram over the weekend as she continues to encourage every one of her fans to go vote. On top of that, Rih also made headlines recently for her apparent refusal to play at the Superbowl halftime show, which she did in support of Colin Kaepernick.

Judge Rejects Brian Kemp’s Georgia Absentee Ballot Suppression Attempt

F or a second time, a federal judge put a halt to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp ’s attempt to throw out absentee ballots over mismatched signatures. See Also: Georgia Isn’t Even Trying To Hide Its Racist Voter Suppression Efforts With This Video Federal Judge Leigh Martin May on Tuesday rejected Kemp’s request to suspend her initial Oct. 24 temporary order that instructed all local election officials to stop rejecting absentee ballots over the signatures, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Kemp is appealing May’s first ruling and wanted the judge to suspend her decision until a higher court hears the case. Kemp, the GOP nominee for Georgia governor, is in a tight race against Stacey Abrams , who could become the nation’s first African-American woman governor. He’s been criticized for his multiple attempts to suppress the Black vote for the 2018 election. Former President Jimmy Carter has asked Kemp to recuse him to ensure a fair election . The rejected ballots were disproportionately from minorities. In siding with the voting rights organizations, May ordered Kemp to instruct all election officials to stop tossing out the ballots over signature issues. She noted that there are many legitimate reasons that signatures on the ballots may not match the signature on government ID cards, including stress, age, or simply rushing to sign your name. Officials must mark those ballots provisional and give the voter the right to appeal the decision or confirm his or her identity. The secretary of state’s appeal of May’s order is expected to be heard in the United States Appeals Court’s Eleventh Circuit. Trump Plans To Use An Executive Order To Suspend The 14th Amendment

R emember the days when Republicans worshiped the Constitution? Well, those days are over with as   President Trump said he will use an executive order to suspend the 14th Amendment. See Also: Bill Cosby Sentenced To 3 To 10 Years In Prison For Sexual Assault Conviction In an interview with Axios , Trump said, “We’re the only country in the world where a person comes in, has a baby, and the baby is essentially a citizen of the United States for 85 years with all of those benefits. It’s ridiculous. It’s ridiculous. And it has to end.” Actually, this is not true. There are several countries that have birthright citizenship : Brazil, Jamaica, Argentina, Canada, among others. Trump continued: “It was always told to me that you needed a constitutional amendment. Guess what? You don’t. You can definitely do it with an Act of Congress. But now they’re saying I can do it just with an executive order.” He added, “It’s in the process. It’ll happen with an executive order.” Trump also claimed he’s consulted with the White House counsel. The 14th Amendment has its roots in slavery. Adopted in 1868, it’s considered one of the Reconstruction Amendments and granted citizenship rights and equal protection of the laws to former slaves. In short, under the 14th Amendment, citizenship is awarded to children born in the U.S., or in U.S. territories, to parents who immigrated into the country. Some people were claiming Trump could not suspend the 14th Amendment and he is just trying to stir up his base for the midterm elections. But we should not doubt the hate of this man. What’s even scarier is that even if he decides to sign an “executive order,” there is no branch of government to stop him. Teresa Giudice Finally Responds: Will She Divorce Joey G?

You’ve likely heard the rumors. You’ve probably read the headlines. But now we have the answer. About four months after Joe Giudice was told he was going to be deported next year after he gets released from jail, his famous wife has answered the question that continues to hang over her and her family. Will she or won’t she divorce Joe in light of this troubling development? Joe, who has been featured prominently on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, pleaded guilty years ago to multiple counts of financial fraud. He was subsequently sentenced to over 40 months behind bars, a stint he is currently serving. In late June, a judge decreed that Giudice (who moved here from Italy as a child, yet never became a United States citizen) must move back to his native country once he’s a free man because he’s an immigrant who committed a felony. It’s as simple as that. But Teresa and Joe’s relationship seems complicated. Can it survive such a traumatic jolt as one half no longer being permitted to live in America? Is Teresa devastated by this news or secretly celebrating her upcoming freedom ? Asked by Entertainment Tonight over the weekend when she would ever divorce her husband, Teresa answered succinctly : “No. We’re going to be a family, and we’re going to fight this and get through this.” Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to numerous charges of fraud in 2014. The mother of four was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison and started her sentence in January of 2015, but was released early. Then, earlier this year, 31 months into his sentence, the U.S. Department of Justice confirmed that Joe had been ordered to leave the United States at the end of his prison sentence. (He has fewer than 30 days to appeal the decision.) But will he be going alone? Or might the entire Giudice clan uproot their lives to keep him company? “We are not even thinking about [whether we’d move to Italy] right now. We’re going to take it day by day. We’re going to take it one step at a time,” Teresa told ET, adding: “First, we’re going to process the paperwork to do an appeal, and we’re going to get through that.” Continues Giudice: “I can’t predict the future, and I am not going to be… I am going to be positive about it,” she said. “Joe starts talking about [the deportation order] and I don’t want to talk about it yet… “I shut him down. I don’t want to talk about it, and what comes first is our daughters and we’re going to fight this.” The embattled couple has four children: 17-year-old Gia, 14-year-old Gabriella, 13-year-old Milania and 9-year-old Audriana. In response to her dad’s situation, Gia recently tried to rally support  for her imprisoned father. “My father is no threat to society,” she wrote as a caption to a throwback photo of dad and daughter, adding: “He is one of the most warm hearted people I know… “My father did his time. And learned from his mistakes. Source: Charlotte Observer / Getty Despite being warned, Donald Trump’s refusal to take security advice when it comes to his cell phone use might have caused some serious national security issues for the President. According to the New York Times when President Trump calls his friends for their takes on the horrible job he is doing on one of his iPhones the Chinese and Russians are listening. What they are getting as the report claims is “invaluable insight” on Trump and how to “best work the president and affect administration policy.” Bruh. The report also claimed last year that that Orange Menace is supposed to swap out his phones every 30 days but rarely does because of “inconvenience.” The NYT’s eye-opening story also brings up an incident when Trump left his cellphone in a golf cart at his Bedminster, N.J., golf club causing a frantic scramble to recover it according to two people familiar with the situation. Per The New York Times : “The current and former officials said they have also determined that China is seeking to use what it is learning from the calls — how Mr. Trump thinks, what arguments tend to sway him and to whom he is inclined to listen — to keep a trade war with the United States from escalating further. In what amounts to a marriage of lobbying and espionage, the Chinese have pieced together a list of the people with whom Mr. Trump regularly speaks in hopes of using them to influence the president, the officials said.” “Among those on the list are Stephen A. Schwarzman, the Blackstone Group chief executive who has endowed a master’s program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, and Steve Wynn, the former Las Vegas casino magnate who used to own a lucrative property in Macau.” As expected Trump called the report a “fake story” and claimed he liked only using “hard lines” in a Tweet sent from his iPhone. Go figure. The New York Times has a new Fake Story that now the Russians and Chinese (glad they finally added China) are listening to all of my calls on cellphones. Except that I rarely use a cellphone, & when I do it’s government authorized. I like Hard Lines. Just more made up Fake News! — Donald J. The ‘Flaunt Your Wealth’ Challenge Has Chinese Millennials Going Viral—And Getting Arrested

Here in the United States, they tend to be centered around performing—take the #DoTheShiggyChallenge , for example. Or, more recently, the #RightBackChallenge that has folks singing over an Ar’mon & Trey track while spilling tea. All in the name of good fun…mostly. But now, other countries are going viral here in the U.S. for taking challenges to new heights. Cue the “Flaunt Your Wealth” challenge, which started in Russia and has now taken China by storm. The point of the trend is obvious, but how is it executed? Well, per the Inkstone News  clip above, Chinese millennials are posing as though they tripped while trying to get out of expensive cars, “spilling” luxury items like designer bags, shoes, and money. With their wealth on full display, their photo is then taken—and now, people are either joining in on the fun or making fun of these wealthy kids taking photos face down on the floor. Altogether, the ladies were fined 160 yuan. From the South China Morning Post : “Two Chinese women stopped their car on a pedestrian crossing in a busy city centre and, as they got out, one of them dropped her Gucci handbag, a pair of red-soled, high-heeled shoes, and an assortment of make-up on the street, spreading them around for effect. She then lay face down, with her legs still inside the car, as her friend began to shoot video of her ‘fall.’” “Another woman who ‘fell’ out of her Aston Martin onto a Shanghai pavement was fined 200 yuan (US$29), according to the city’s traffic police department,” the site states. Apparently, money is becoming less and less of a “thing” to more and more Chinese folks: “The challenge highlights the growing number of wealthy Chinese and the equally rapidly widening wealth gap, and the resulting social tensions. After rumors swirled that Mac’s overdose played a part in her breakup with Pete Davidson (he’s publicly stated he smokes weed to deal with his mental issues), Ariana took to IG to post a video of her and Miller during better days. In the video the “Sweetner” singer posted recently we see Mac Miller getting dipped for The Oscars the couple attended with the help his mother Joan and grandmother, Nonna. Unfortunately, that was the last time the couple had a public outing as they broke up a few months later in May of 2017. Obviously, Mac still holds a special place in Ariana Grande’s heart.
