If there was EVER a ninja who needed to give up his Glock, it’s Gucci . Gucci Mane Forced To Give Up Guns Under Federal Indictment According to TMZ reports : Gucci Mane’s got a problem with the United States government that goes beyond taxes — it’s like a bullet to the heart … because Uncle Sam wants to take his Glock. According to a federal indictment, the government wants Mane to surrender his 2 guns — a 40 caliber Glock and a 45 caliber Taurus. They also want the ammo that goes with it. As for why the government has a hard-on for Mane … the rapper has 2 priors — aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of more than 20 grams of pot. If Gucci is going to be allowed to walk the streets we sure would feel a helluva lot safer if we know he doesn’t have any firearms on his person.

Teenager Thrown Out Of School For Wearing Black Jesus Costume? A high school student from Illinois got a little more attention than he bargained for this Halloween after he was sent home from school for wearing a Jesus costume. The school says they initially sent the boy home because they thought his costume would be religiously offensive, but his mother says she thinks it was because he was black. via Chicago Sun-Times Highland Park High School senior Marshon Sanders was pulled from classes on Halloween, a traditional costume day for students, after dressing like Jesus. According to Sanders’ mother, Angenetta Frison, some teachers found his costume offensive. He was readmitted to school after changing out of the costume, Frison said. Shortly before school let out for the day, the high school released a statement, saying that upon further review, Sanders was told he could put the costume back on. But Frison, who met with school administrators along with her son to discuss the matter, said he chose not to do so. “They realized they might have been premature and didn’t really assess the situation,” said Frison, who wondered if the image of a black Jesus evoked strong feelings. “Race is an issue in our country,” she said. “We still struggle with racism. I don’t know if that was a factor, but it may have been. Would a Caucasian student dressed as Jesus have had the same effect?” It’s no secret that schools in the United States often have policies against anything promoting one religion over another (or sometimes at all) but does this young man’s mother have a point? STOP the violence… Gay Pittsburgh Couple Brutally Attacked For Showing PDA As hate-motivated acts of violence continue to see a rise throughout the United States, a gay Pittsburgh man is demanding that his attackers be charged with hate crime after he and his boyfriend were brutally beaten for being affectionate in public. via Huffington Post Police are investigating an alleged Oct. 6 assault on a Pennsylvania-based gay man and his boyfriend as a possible hate crime. As CBS reports, Ben Stoviak and his boyfriend Aaron were leaving Remedy Bar in Pittsburgh, Penn. when a group of men allegedly began yelling homophobic and derogatory comments at the couple. Stoviak contextualized the event in a post on his Facebook page: Last night, a group of men attacked me and my boyfriend on Butler Street in Lawrenceville. After yelling, from across the street, “Faggot!” at us, I replied, “yes, we’re faggots!” Immediately after, the group of men ran across the street and began hitting, kicking, and stomping me. The mark on my right cheek is a bootprint. Aaron threw himself on top of me to discourage them from continuing the assault, but they began kicking him in the head, as well… I don’t ask you to cheer on my romantic and sexual lives. I do, however, expect people not to act violently against one another because they do not share tastes and preferences. A group of patrons from a neighboring bar called authorities when they witnessed the alleged violent attack occurring in front of Remedy. When police arrived, Stoviak was reportedly bloodied with multiple welts and bruises covering his face, according to WXPI. Stoviak reportedly believes that the attack only occurred because him and his partner were being affectionate with one another, and wants police to treat the case as a hate crime. Everyone is entitled to their beliefs, but attacking another person simply because you don’t like or care to see something that they are doing in public is NEVER acceptable.

The Duck Dynasty dynasty shows no signs of slowing down. Having achieved record ratings through three-plus seasons on A&E, the Robertson family has branched out into many successful side ventures as well. Books, perhaps most notably. Howard Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, announced three more tie-in works to the smash reality show in 2014. Five books penned by the Robertson family already are out, including such top sellers as Happy, Happy, Happy and The Duck Commander Family . Scheduled for next year are Faith in the Duck Blind , an ode to the family’s strong Christian values, The Women of Duck Commander and Phil-Osophy. Duck Dynasty series first aired in 2012. Set in North Louisiana, it follows two brothers, their wives, their dad and their uncle who manufacture duck calls. Well, when they actually work, which is seldom. It’s hilarious.
