SMH… via NYPost.com : Rwandan President Paul Kagame is living in luxury during the United Nations General Assembly, staying in the $16,000-per-night presidential suite at the Mandarin Oriental. Kagame’s rooms have “panoramic views of Central Park, the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline,” says the hotel’s Web site. Rwanda’s average annual income last year was $1,150, according to the World Bank. Kagame, whose reps didn’t get back to us, is one of many world leaders with spending sprees on their UN agendas, despite the dismal global economic climate. We went straight to Stewart’s fellow celebs to ask: Which lip-lock should come out on top? “Vampire Diaries” star Kat Graham knows a thing or two about hot supernatural guys, and she has a very strong opinion about which kiss rules in “Eclipse”: “I love Taylor Lautner,” she gushed. “He could be making out with a hamburger, and I would be like, ‘Best kiss ever!’ ” Olympian Johnny Weir also seems to be a member of Team Jacob. “Taylor Lautner in that movie was, you know, rocking the sex,” he exclaimed, most likely referencing Lautner’s ever-present abs in the franchise. “X-Men: First Class” actress Rose Byrne is leaning toward Team Edward when it comes to the kisses, even calling out Pattinson’s fan-favorite nickname: “I think it will be RPattz.” Elle Fanning, whose sister Dakota stars in the “Twilight” flicks, concurred with Byrne, reasoning that Stewart’s Bella is “marrying Edward, so you sort of have to pick Edward.” “X-Men” hottie Michael Fassbender might not know Edward from Jacob, but he did pick one of the actors over the other. “I’m just going to go with Robert,” he said. The ‘Country Strong’ star and the ‘Glee’ actor have recorded a version of ‘Over the Rainbow’ for his upcoming release. Translating from Gleek speak, Oscar-winning-actress-turned-singing-staple Gwyneth Paltrow will be crooning yet another number with Matthew Morrison. Entertainment Weekly reports that Paltrow will appear on Morrison’s upcoming solo album, which is due out on May 10. On “Glee,” recurring guest Paltrow — who plays flaky substitute teacher Holliday — has covered Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide,” Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You” and Prince’s “Kiss,” the latter of which she performed with Morrison’s Mr. Schue. Now, the Golden Globe-nominated Morrison is having the “Country Strong” star help him out on his debut record, on a tune that’s become almost synonymous with his “Glee” character: “Over the Rainbow.” As Morrison told EW, “People kind of know me for that song now.” The Broadway-trained actor not only used the timeless “Wizard of Oz” number for his “Glee” audition, but also sang it with co-star Mark Salling (who released his own solo effort, Pipe Dreams , in 2010) during the season 1 finale — both times accompanying himself on ukulele. “I wanted to do a duet with a female. I thought that was a good song to do, and we really did a different arrangement of it,” Morrison explained about the version he recorded for his album. “It’s a lot of strings, and it’s beautiful.” Morrison admitted that he felt nervous about approaching Paltrow to see if she’d participate in the recording. “The hardest part of doing this album was asking these people favors, like Elton [John] and her,” he said. “I’m so not that guy.” In addition to Paltrow and John, Morrison also has ‘NSYNC member JC Chasez lined up for a duet on a song titled “Dancing in the Rain.” While there’s no word yet on who, if any, of his “Glee” castmates will appear on the record — both had championed to get their own duets on the album — co-star Jenna Ushkowitz has already been singing its praises . Ushkowitz, who plays glee-club member Tina Cohen-Chang on the show, told MTV News on the red carpet of the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, “His music is really great.” She went on to say that Morrison “made his own sound” on the album, while adding that it was “a little bit of Justin Timberlake … [and] symphonic-sounding.” Morrison has yet to announce a title for album, though the actor did reveal to MTV News at Clive Davis’ post-Grammy bash in February that ” My Name ” has been considered as a possibility. Joining together for a good cause, Selena Gomez and Jonas Brothers trio Nick, Joe and Kevin took the stage for the Concert for Hope in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (March 20). With Selena and her The Scene bandmates headlining, the slate of performers at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk was rounded out by Allstar Weekend. The gig saw all proceeds benefiting lifesaving cancer research at City of Hope, one of the nation’s leading cancer research and treatment centers. Disney Music Group chairman said of the special concert, “It is gratifying to see a young generation of musical artists come together to support a future free from cancer. We are fortunate to have the commitment of these talented young artists to help City of Hope fulfill its mission of conducting innovative research and saving lives.” President of Disney Channels Worldwide, Gary Marsh, added, “Some of the most important advances in cancer treatment originated from the work of dedicated City of Hope researchers, including the development of many of the most widely used cancer drugs.
