In a new interview, veteran actress Sigourney Weaver does not reveal whether she’s on Team Jacob or Team Edward. But she is definitely on Team Taylor Lautner. Asked about working with the Twilight Saga stud on Abduction , which hits theaters on September 23, Weaver had only positive things to tell Movie Fanatic . “He’s very professional, very hard working. I thought he was very open to the different demands of this character and this movie,” Weaver said, adding that she’s seen the Twilight films and “he’s very good in those, [but] this is a very different set of challenges for him. I thought he rose to the occasion beautifully.” Lautner co-stars in the action thriller with girlfriend Lily Collins . Singer/songwriter John Mayer has been diagnosed with granuloma, or an inflamed nodule near his vocal cords, he personally announced over the weekend. “After several months of going week to week monitoring and hoping to correct the condition, I am sadly forced to cancel my upcoming singing engagements due to something next to my vocal cords,” Mayer told his fans . Mayer’s upcoming album, Born and Raised , has been delayed. Maybe he can also get a haircut in his downtime. Just kidding.
