If only it happened like that in reality. 50/50 is based on the life of screenwriter Will Reiser, and when he called Rogen, his best friend, to tell him the bad news, the Knocked Up star was in a compromising situation: mid-poop. The Gaga joins a VMA roster that already includes Adele, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown and Young the Giant. The 2011 VMAs will air August 28. Gaga unexpectedly unleashed the mind-blowing six-minute “You and I” music video Tuesday via Twitter. The video makes its TV debut tonight at 7:49 p.m. on MTV. “You and I” is the fourth single to be released from Born This Way . But Timbaland has revealed he’s worked with the artist on at least one track, while OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder says he collaborated with Lovato on the single “Who’s That?” and “Demi blew me out of the water vocally!” Is Demi Lovato the next Kelly Clarkson? Yes, swears Ryan Tedder. Added Tedder, gushing: “I had no idea how good her voice is. She’s one of the best singers I’ve ever worked with. Literally, that good… I mean, she’s a Kelly Clarkson-level vocalist. And Kelly has a set of pipes.” What can we expect from this tune? Nothing like the ballad that is “Skyscraper,” Tedder tells E! Michael Jackson’s kids are planning on attending the upcoming MJ Tribute Concert in person. This in spite of objections from two of their uncles. Prince, Paris and Blanket have all decided that they want to fly to Wales for the event, regardless of what Jermaine and Randy Jackson think. An Jackson family rep tells TMZ: “Paris, Blanket and Prince have been asked to attend the MJ Tribute in Wales and they have decided to go.” The rep adds that the kids are “extremely excited and they’re hoping they will have the opportunity to contribute in some way by making a speech.” “Nothing has been set in stone, but they really hope they can.” Jermaine and Randy are fighting their attendance, as well as the concert itself, which they consider “inappropriate,” given that the event is due to take place in October during the involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray .
