So You Think You Can Dance Top 11: Who Won the Non-Competition Round?

Last night So You Think You Can Dance treated us to a nonthreatening exhibition round. The competitors weren’t competing — they were simply introducing themselves in cute choreographed numbers for the weeks to come. Totes cute. It’s like in the ’90s when the USA Network used to broadcast women’s exhibition tennis, and the point of watching was how attractive they were. “Gabriela Sabatini Vs. Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario! HOT and LIVE and in Dayton.” But what would a recap of SYTYCD be without a declared winner? We’ve picked the best performance from the night, one with sly wit and a genius costume change.

Shia LaBeouf Misses Megan Fox On Set Of ‘Transformers 3’

Actor actor looks forward to ‘new perspective’ of Fox’s replacement, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. By Jocelyn Vena Shia LaBeouf in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” Photo: Paramount Pictures Earlier this spring, movie fans everywhere were surprised to hear that Megan Fox wouldn’t be back to fight evil alien robots alongside Shia LaBeouf for “Transformers 3.” Fox has been replaced by Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley , who will play a new love interest for LaBeouf’s Sam. And it seems like LaBeouf has mixed feelings about the switch-up. “I love Megan and I miss the girl,” LaBeouf told USA Today from the set of the third film. “But Sam and Mikaela became one character, and here … you have discovery again from a new perspective.” It isn’t just LaBeouf who is hoping that some change will revive the franchise. Director Michael Bay told the paper that in this third film they hope to resolve some of the problems that fans and movie critics disliked in the second film, “Revenge of the Fallen.” “I’ll take some of the criticism,” he said. “It was very hard to put [the sequel] together that quickly after the writers’ strike [of 2007-08]. … This one really builds to a final crescendo. It’s not three multiple endings.” Bay believes that the film’s villain, Shockwave, and its top-secret plot will keep fans on the edge of their seats. “One thing we’re getting rid of is what I call the ‘dorky comedy.’ So the twins, the two bumbling, slang-spewing robots? They’re basically gone,” he explained, adding that John Turturro will still be on hand for comic relief. “The movie is more of a mystery. It ties in what we know as history growing up as kids with what really happened. As a trilogy, it really ends. It could be rebooted again, but I think it has a really killer ending.” What do you think “Transformers 3” needs to do to revive the franchise? Share your ideas in the comments. High School Dropouts Aren’t Helping

A smaller percentage of American highschoolers is making it through all four years, reports the Christian Science Monitor. Lower graduation rates adds up to an economic loss of billions in wages and tax revenue and a gloomy future competing with those overachieving brainiacs in China and India. Extra credit: Read Mike Rose’s masterful assessment of the education reform hype machine here . Christian Science Monitor: The percent of students earning a standard diploma in four years shifted from 69.2 percent in 2006 to 68.8 percent in 2007, according to an analysis of the most recent data in “Diplomas Count 2010.” It was the second consecutive year of decline, says the report, which was released Thursday by Education Week and the Editorial Projects in Education (EPE) Research Center, a nonprofit in Bethesda, Md. That translates to 11,000 fewer graduates in 2007 than in 2006. At its peak in 1969, the national graduation rate was 77 percent. Miley Cyrus in a See Through Dress of the Day

I don’t know what is going on in this picture of Miley Cyrus or where it is fun but apparently she’s prepping for some photoshoot, and I don’t really care, because I’m impressed with her hustle… Seriously, I like whatever it is that she is doing with her career, no matter how obvious or text book it is, cuz really a half naked Miley Cyrus at 17, is better than one taking the traditional country route for the Christians, cuz not only is Christianity an outdated theology, but it’s also boring as fuck…. I’ve never even liked Miley. I used to find her ugly, boring and I’d tease her sexual relationship with Disney Execs that made her millions, supporting her young whore attitude, without actually knowing whether she was actually a whore or if that was just fantasy cuz she was so prude and boring….but now, I know and I guess you always did, cuz you’re a fucking dirtbag who has been deprived of teen pussy cuz the USA doesn’t like that shit, while Canada and the UK does…maybe you should move.

Pixie Lott In Her Lame Little Short Shorts

I have trouble keeping up with the random nobody hotties from England so I can’t really remember who the hell this Pixie Lott bird is, but she’s pretty cute for an English chick and I like that she’s wearing a little pair of short shorts on the airplane so I thought I’d share her with you guys. The caption to these pictures was ‘Pixie Lott flies out of Heathrow Airport to New York to watch the England v USA game in a bar’ . I knew that the Brits were into their soccer but that seems like a long way to go for a game. Why not fly to the actual World Cup ? Maybe it’s just me.
