Watch The Vampire Diaries Online: Season 5 Episode 10

The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 10 closed out the show’s 2013 run Thursday night, but rather than going out with a bang, it left fans with a lot to ponder. First off, Enzo confronted Damon for leaving him to die back in the ’50s, and while Damon came through and saved him this time, the collateral damage is what hurt. Damon accepted the fact that he’s a vicious monster and broke up with Elena as a result, even as she professed her love for the vampire he is, flaws and all. Sigh. We also learned on The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 10 that Elena’s dad was involved in vampire experiments, but saved humans, one of whom was Megan. Finally, Katherine collapsed and is on the verge of dying. Will she pull through? And what else happened on the midseason finale? Happy 35th Birthday, Ian Somerhalder: Donate Now!

Ian Somerhalder is asking for a lot this year. The Vampire Diaries hunk turns 35 today, but he doesn’t want an expensive gift. Heck, he doesn’t want a gift of any kind, not for himself at least. He simply wants as many fans as possible to donate to his foundation in the same amount as the number of year he’s been on Earth. “I have a goal this year… we can get 1 million people of the 7 billion on the planet to donate $35 dollars,” Ian writes on the official Ian Somerhalder Foundation site, adding: “I know it sounds simple, but all donations big and small fuel our resources to continue expanding and making change for the voiceless of this planet: our skies, seas, energy, habitats and of course our furry friends. So if you can donate now, two months from now or at my birthday thank you. Or maybe you can donate less than six dollars a month over the next six months. If you can’t donate then you can spread the word about this year’s birthday wish.” Consider it done, Ian. Kristen Stewart: Crying Over Robert Pattinson?

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson appeared to be having a Thanksgiving weekend together … until she was spotted leaving her dad’s house in tears. The actress’ day with her family came to a crashing halt as she bolted her father’s house on November 29. Photographers saw her crying as she departed. Was she brought to tears because Rob wasn’t there? Camera flashes went off as K-Stew made her way to her car, and tears streamed down her face from the swarm of attention, according to X17 Online. Some of Kristen’s friends and family members appeared to be trying to console her, but it was no use as the star looked extremely shaken up. After pushing away people and rebuffing attempts to help her and dissuade her from leaving, finally, she got into her vehicle alone and drove off. Her holiday had been going so smoothly, too. On Thanksgiving Day, Stewart was seen spotted looking happy as she and a friend walked to a grocery store to pick up some last-minute ingredients. The next day, Kristen was then spotted walking near her dad’s house, and appeared content. A source said “she seemed happy and looked relaxed.” While it’s easy to point finger at Rob’s absence as the source of Kristen’s anguish, because that makes for good celebrity gossip , it’s all very unclear. Remember, this report comes on the heels of others saying that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are 100 percent back together and serious. The fact that Rob was nowhere in sight could’ve been the reason she was upset, sure … but more likely it means he had nothing to do with it at all.

Ian Somerhalder Loves His Cat, Fans Love Him Even More

Seeing Ian Somerhalder pose with his cat Moke for People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive 2013 spread might be as hot as seeing Channing Tatum wear his baby girl. Ian Somerhalder alone is swoon-worthy, but Ian plus cute and furry four-legged friends? Super hot.  Ian Somerhalder Loves His Cat Somerhalder, who plays Damon Salvatore on  The Vampire Diaries , rescued his orange-haired kid while filming  Lost in Hawaii. He reveals to the magazine that he used to put Moke on a leash and take him for walks on the beach. The cat apparently helped him get a lot of dates, but it’s Ian Somerhalder so Moke was probably just a lovely bonus for those lucky ladies. Cats aren’t his only furry friends. He and Nina Dobrev played midwife to one of his dogs as it gave birth to puppies earlier this year. Ian currently resides in his 2,000 square foot apartment with 6 dogs and 2 cats, a number which he says is probably over the limit. Somerhalder was included in the spread’s “Cool Cats” section alongside  The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus and his feline friend Eye of the Dark. Adam Levine, meanwhile, was named Sexiest Man Alive 2013. Bet more than a few fans will be shaking their heads at that decision after seeing this.

The Vampire Diaries’ most recent episode, “Death and the Maiden,” was a doozy. The CW show cleaned house, scrubbing three (3!) peeps out of the confusing picture. At the same time, a familiar face came back from the Other Side. While the events of The Vampire Diaries Season 5 Episode 7 went a long way toward resetting the series in many respects, the fallout may not be over yet. Katherine Pierce? The Fifty Shades of Grey movie has been debated, discussed and speculated about from day one, and the recent turmoil hasn’t quelled fans’ anticipation. With actor Charlie Hunnam pulling out of the project almost as soon as he signed on, the million-dollar question once again is who will play Christian Grey. Among the (fan) favorites? Ian Somerhalder of The Vampire Diaries fame! Fifty Shades of Grey Trailer Starring Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev While Dakota Johnson is still on board as Ana Steele, TVD fans would no doubt wonder what 50 Shades would be like with Ian and co-star Nina Dobrev. The Fifty Shades of Grey trailer above imagines just that scenario. After watching it, and others such this one playing fantasy casting with Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel as Christian and Ana, two things become clear: The chemistry between the leads had better be good. That Ian Somerhalder is one sexy beast. Undoubtedly, producers are more likely to go with lesser-known stars who fans don’t already envision as characters from other movies or shows. By the same token, a lesser-known actor may be willing to take the risk that the role entails, which Hunnam apparently got cold feet about. Nevertheless, with Ian and Nina paired up in Fifty Shades of Grey, you can’t deny the almost supernatural sparks that would fly. Real-life breakup aside. Do you agree? The singer has written a series of tweets and released a video on Facebook that makes it seem as if the release of “Heartbreaker” may, in fact, be imminent. Last night, he cryptically tweeted “#UNLOCKTHEDREAM #THEKEY tomorrow u get it.” It remains unclear exactly what u get, but sounds awesome. Then, he posted this short video on Facebook: Justin Bieber – Macarons Titled “Macarons,” the 10-second clip shows a VERY happy Justin Bieber, looking stoned out of his mind, juggling colorful macarons as a random girl looks on. Again, we are told to #UNLOCKTHEDREAM. Do as he instructs, people.
