The Volturi are coming after the newborn vampire in this teaser for the new ‘Breaking Dawn – Part 2’ trailer, out in full on Wednesday. By Josh Wigler Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” Photo: The Volturi are coming! The Volturi are coming! Hide your immortal babies, the Volturi are coming! As promised, Tuesday (June 19) brought brings a brand new 10-second teaser for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2,” the final act in the supernatural romance saga based on the novels from Stephenie Meyer. Director Bill Condon’s upcoming finale focuses heavily on the ever-evolving Cullen family, which welcomed two new members to the clan in the most recent “Twilight” movie: Bella Swan, now a vampire thanks to a life-or-death choice made by Edward, and Renesmee, the vampire/human hybrid daughter of Bella and Edward. The “Breaking Dawn” 10-second teaser centers largely on Renesmee, even if she’s not physically in the spotlight. Edward introduces his baby girl to the rest of his family, but does so with a dark warning: “The Volturi think Renesmee is an immortal child.” An immortal child, for those not in the know, is a human infant or toddler bitten by a vampire. Despite their young mental age, immortal children have all of the gifts bestowed upon your average vamp — super strength, super speed and more — and are nearly impossible to control. In short, they’re bad for business, and the Volturi make it their business to kill each and every one that they find. Except Renesmee isn’t an immortal child, despite the Volturi’s beliefs. Newly minted vampire Bella says as much. “She was born, not bitten,” she says forcefully in the teaser. “She grows every single day!” But when has reason ever really worked on the Volturi? It certainly hasn’t in this case, as the Cullen family’s pleas fall on deaf ears. By the teaser’s conclusion, Aro and his fellow Volturi have descended upon Edward and Bella, who are more than ready to fight for their daughter’s life. Starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” hits theaters November 16. The full teaser trailer comes online Wednesday. We review the big questions left over from the premiere before tonight’s new show. By Kara Warner Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and Lucy Griffiths in “True Blood” Photo: Lacey Terrell/ HBO Last week’s kickoff to the fifth season of “True Blood” was as bloody of a good time as we expected. As creator Alan Ball and company are wont to do with their vampire soap, the first episode of this new season ended in cliffhanger territory; plenty of people were up to no good and best friends were turned into vampires . So what’s in store for tonight? How Will Tara Take to Being Undead? Given all we know about Tara’s stubborn and incendiary personality, along with what we know about newborn vampires, we expect Tara’s transition to be a particularly messy one. She won’t go killing off Sookie and Lafayette, of course; they’re main characters. But we do expect her to do some damage via draining. Will she even take to the idea at all? How will the maker/makee bond play out between Tara and Pam? When Will Chris Meloni Make His Appearance? We’ve been waiting to see Chris Meloni and his fangs ever since it was announced that the HBO alum would be joining the cast for season five. His fellow castmembers have been singing his praises , and Meloni himself promised us “a lot of staking.” So where is he? Seems to us he should be making his appearance very soon, since Bill and Eric are still tied up with the Authority and all. Can Jason and Jessica Get It Together Already? It is very sweet that Jason misses his best buddy Hoyt and is trying to smooth things over. However, Jason can’t keep away from Jessica, so he might as well give up on repairing that friendship for now, which should leave the door open for him and Jess to actually formulate a relationship. Jason could use a strong-willed, independent lady in his life, despite the fact that Jessica wants to sow her wild oats. Why Won’t Alcide Embrace His New Pack Master Status? Yes, that group-eating of fallen pack master and all-around bad guy Marcus was super gross. But weird cannibalistic rituals be damned, Alcide would make a great pack master! He’s perfectly authoritative and assertive when he needs to be and so sweet and kind! From what we know about Alcide, which isn’t that much, he has always seemed resistant to joining up with wolf packs. Perhaps we’ll find out the reason behind his lone-wolf mind-set soon. What’s up with Steve Newlin? We are definitely intrigued by this new twist to Steve Newlin’s character. As a “gay vampire American,” he should definitely provide for some lighthearted distractions this season. But now that his recently declared love for Jason has been spurned, what is he going to do? Newlin was not at all pleased to see Jessica claim Jason for herself and we don’t think he’ll soon move on or go quietly into the woods. We’re betting it’s just a matter of time before he makes some mischief.

‘I have a better sense of who I am, what I represent, who I represent,’ MC tells MTV News. By Rob Markman Big Sean Photo: MTV News Big Sean ‘s debut LP Finally Famous was pretty darn good, but for his upcoming sophomore album, the Detroit MC is aiming to be even better. “I feel like when I dropped my first album, I was still coming into myself as an artist,” Sean told MTV News in May. “I have a better sense of who I am, what I represent, who I represent.” Sean hasn’t announced the title of his next LP, but he did confirm with MTV News that it will come later this year, after G.O.O.D. Music’s Cruel Summer compilation is released. He says that now he has a different mentality than he did on FF, which yielded hit singles like the Chris Brown-assisted “My Last” and “Dance (A$$),” a few all-star collaborators won’t hurt either. “I’ve been in the studio with ‘Ye, talking with ‘Ye, building ideas with No I.D., even with Nas, with other people and really talking to ’em and soaking up where their minds is at,” Sean said, “Then taking that and applying it to what I know myself. It ain’t no choice but to be good.” It was during his tour last year that Sean began to develop more as an MC. “I also have a sense of how people look at me, just by going on tour, my first solo tour, sold-out tour and seeing the people and kids who looked at me as a role model,” he said. “That’s when I realized when you got the mic, you got the crowd, you gotta say something, or else your moment in time is wasted. It’s just a whole different thought mentality.” What was your favorite song off of Big Sean’s Finally Famous ? Let us know in the comments! Cyrus and Hemsworth join a long list of celebrity couples who first met on set. By Kara Warner Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Photo: Michael Buckner/Getty Images Just about nothing makes more headlines in the world of entertainment than celebrity engagements. Unsurprisingly, the news of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s plans to wed has caused a media storm. Since their romance got its start on the set of their movie “The Last Song” , we got to thinking about all the other couples who met and later married after meeting at work Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan The “Magic Mike” star and his lovely actress/dancer wife Jenna Dewan met in 2006 during the filming of “Step Up.” They officially started dating after production wrapped, were engaged in 2008 and married on July 11, 2009, in Malibu. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie The couple that launched the blended celebrity name game was born out of their filming 2005’s action adventure “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Though rumors swirled of an onset romance, Brangelina insisted that they didn’t start dating until after Pitt was officially separated from then-wife Jennifer Aniston. Pitt was not Jolie’s first set-generated romance, she had married onetime co-stars Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner met in 2004 on the set of “Daredevil,” shortly after Garner ended a relationship with another co-star, Michael Vartan, whom she met on “Alias.” Affleck and Garner became engaged nine months later and married on June 29, 2005. Similar to Jolie’s serial on-set dating, Jennifer Garner had previously dated and married her “Felicity” co-star Scott Foley. Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. Although Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. met and became friends on the set of 1997’s teen horror flick “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” they didn’t start dating until 2000.The couple became engaged in 2001 and were married in Mexico on September 1, 2002 in a ceremony officiated by “Rock of Ages” director Adam Shankman, with whom Gellar had worked on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” Jay-Z and Beyonc
A swarm of celebs including cast members turned out Monday night for the New York premiere of Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener starrer, Peace, Love & Misunderstanding at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The event, which benefited The Women’s Media Center, held its post-screening bash at the Royalton Hotel in Midtown. The party didn’t take a cue from the film’s hippie-vibe, but who needs bohemian when there’s champagne and sliders to guzzle! Along with Fonda and Keener, fellow cast members Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Chace Crawford, NatWolff, Marissa O’Donnell and Maddie Corman joined in for the party hosted by Forevermark and The Wall Street Journal. Directed by Driving Miss Daisy director Bruce Beresford, the film, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall (followed by a U.S. debut at the Woodstock Film Festival – natch!) follows Manhattan lawyer Diane (Keener) who drives her teenage son Jake (Nat Wolff) and adult daughter Zoe (Elizabeth Olsen) to visit their Woodstock-bound hippie grandmother Grace (Fonda), who the kids have never met. Grace stages protests, smokes and sells dope, but their weekend getaway morphs into a summer adventure of romance, music and more. “It was amazing to have such veteran actors like Jane Fonda and Catherine Keener working alongside newcomers [at the time] Nat Wolff and Elizabeth Olsen,” Peace producer Claude Dal Farra told ML. “This was actually the first movie-set for Elizabeth and Nat.” Others at the party Monday included Robin Morgan, GloriaSteinem, Carol Alt, Ashleigh Banfield, Joshua Bell, Jewelle Bickford, Sandy Brant, Julie Burton, Ron Claiborne, Jamie Colby, Alan Cox ( The Dictator ), Rebecca Dayan ( Celeste & Jesse Forever ), Aleksa Palladino ( Boardwalk Empire ), Savanna Wise ( Smash ) and Casper Zafer ( The Vampire Diaries ). IFC Films will open Peace, Love & Misunderstanding beginning this Friday. [Photo credit: Amanda Schwab/Starpix]

Nina Dobrev hasn’t read Fifty Shades of Grey yet, but with her name floating around as a possible fit for the female lead, she might want to get on it! “All I’ve heard is that it’s very scandalous, to say the least,” the Vampire Diaries starlet told MTV. “I haven’t read it, but I’m intrigued … who knows?” “I mean, well, I guess we’ll have to see.” With co-star and real-life boyfriend Ian Somerhalder expressing interest in the role of Christian Grey, it’s no surprise Dobrev has been linked to Anastasia Steele. Working with Ian a second time isn’t as appealing to Nina as you night think, though. She said if she did play Anastasia, she’d prefer another guy . “I don’t know if that’s a good idea,” she said of herself and Somerhalder both starring in the movie adaptation of EL James’ erotic love story trilogy. “I think it’s best for any of the actors on The Vampire Diaries to kind of do their own things … and create new characters … if it’s the same people, the fans will alway see me as Elena and they’ll see him as Damon if we do a film together.” “I think it would be better [if] either he should get it or I should get it, but I know that apparently he’s really great for the role, so I hope he gets it!” Another pair of famous vampires, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson , have been talked about at length as good fits, especially considering that James initially modeled the books after Edward and Bella from the Twilight saga. “See the movie so you won’t see piranha showing up at your house dressed as…however they want to dress. Just watch the damn thing.” And with those sage words, Dimension Films let Gary Busey loose to drum up press for their upcoming summer boobs ‘n’ blood-fest, Piranha 3DD . Yes, if you’ve been hiding under a rock it is a Piranha sequel… in 3-D. Spelled with a double-D. For boobs. But I digress!
