Vanessa Long Calls Off Divorce From Bishop Eddie Long, Again

For the second time in three months, Vanessa Long has called off her divorce from Bishop Eddie Long , the AJC reports. DeKalb County court filings posted online show that Vanessa Long’s divorce petition has been dismissed. The online postings in the case of “Long vs. Long” indicate the petition was dismissed “without prejudice.” Lawrence Cooper — one of Eddie Long’s lawyers — confirmed to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Vanessa Long had asked that the divorce petition be dismissed. He did not tell the AJC whether or not the Longs were reunited. This past December, Vanessa Long announced she was seeking to end her 21-year-marriage to Eddie Long following “a great deal of deliberation and prayer.” She announced soon after that after “prayerful reflection,” she had changed her mind about going through with the divorce. On Drake’s new album.  A song called “Stay Schemin” makes a reference to Vanessa Bryant.  He Talks about Kobe losing a lump sum of dollars to Vanessa Bryanta was not a diss.  I never intended to offend Vanessa or anyone else. That line had everything to do with me and what goes on in my head as a 25 year old man with this much income flowing in. The people behind the show are prepping to make Kobe’s ex-wife an offer she can’t refuse , with sources say “an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa” is imminent. As one source put it, they will do whatever it takes to get her, since, “Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level.” Producers never dreamed of approaching Vanessa Bryant while she was married to the L.A. Lakers superstar, who she recently left due to Kobe’s repeated cheating . Budget constraints were also an issue when the show was in its infancy, but with Wives pulling in big ratings for VH1, and Vanessa single, times have changed! Sources say producers would instantly make her the LEAD star the show or spin off an L.A. version with her as the centerpiece. We’re not buying it, though. First of all, Vanessa scored $75 million in their divorce . VH1 isn’t going to woo her with money, in other words, and it’s unclear if she wants to be a fame whore.
