Blackwater CEO quits to teach High School

Founder and CEO of Blackwater, Erik Prince is cutting ties with the company. A spokeswoman for the company said today that Prince will relinquish involvement in its day-to-day operations and give up some of his ownership rights. The company has been shelling out $2 million a month in legal fees to cope with a slew of federal investigations and civil lawsuits stemming from, among other incidents, the “unprovoked and unjustified” killing of 17 Iraqi civilians.

Before Graydon Carter was the editor of Vanity Fair who jets to Bermuda while his magazine’s staff is laid off, he was just a young Canadian with a penchant for ice-skating and an out-sized ego. So says a childhood friend! In a post on his obscure political blog last month, an alleged former friend of Carter’s writes “Apropos of nothing, I thought I’d share some late night memories of my BFF pre-teen memories of Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter.” He proceeds to paint a delightful Portrait of the Graydon as a Young Carter
