RIP: ‘Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous’ Host Robin Leach Dies At 76

Sad news to report as Robin Leach , the veteran entertainment journalist who was best known for his work on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous has died as result of complications from a stroke he suffered last November. He was 76. Leach had been hospitalized since November 21st after suffering a stroke in Cabo San Lucas, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal . Leach worked as a celebrity columnist for the publication. obin Leach, the veteran entertainment journalist best known for his work on TV’s Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, died Thursday night. He was 76. “Sad to report the death of famed celeb reporter, friend and colleague #RobinLeach @ 1:50 a.m. in #LasVegas. He would have been 77 Wednesday. He suffered a second stroke Monday. Russ and Paola Mayfield: We’re Having A…

Brace yourselves, 90 Day Fiance fans. We now know exactly what the stork is bringing Russ and Paola Mayfield. In a very sweet and revealing Instagram message, the veteran reality stars alerted fans to the gender of the baby growing inside of Paola. Are you ready to find out? Are you sure? Okay. Here we go… IT’S A BOY! We’ll let Paola explain in further detail, per her caption to the photos above and below: We are having a BOY!!!! I didn’t care if it was a boy or a girl, I just wanted a healthy baby and to be able to have it in my arms as soon as possible. Of course I’m always rooting for a girl but a boy is a blessing as well and I know my husband is really excited! This is an amazing experience now I can finally say I’m pregnant!!! I’m having a little boy. The Mayfields announced their first child was on the way back in late July. They did so via the following statement to Us Weekly: “This is the most amazing feeling ever! We can’t believe we are going to be parents – we are already so in love with our baby. “We are ready for this new adventure and we know it will bring us closer together. “God has blessed us again, and this time, we are going as strong as our baby’s heartbeat.” The couple also included the following image with this adorable confirmation: News that Paola and Russ are expecting was met with surprise and also joy by fans of 90 Day Fiance. We say surprise because there had been chatter as recently as a few weeks ago that the twosome’s marriage was on the rocks , as they seemingly could never settle the tension that existed over Paola so often posing near-nude. And we say joy because Paola suffered a miscarriage last year. This tragedy took a toll on the relationship in a variety of ways. But Russ has strongly defended his union every step of the way, telling off trolls on Instagram not long before this pregnancy news went viral. “Keep hating and commenting to better your dull lives because your opinions are meaningless in my eyes,” Russ said at this time, pulling nary a punch and concluding: “You’re only hurting yourself hiding behind your keyboard. Which proves nothing to you or me… “I am proud of where I come from,. And where I am going and that’s with the love of my life.” So there you have it. Well said. Selena Gomez turned 26 over the weekend, and the photos from her birthday bash were dazzling. The pics were so good, in fact, that the Instagram “likes” poured in with dizzying alacrity.  Selena’s birthday post got so much love so quickly that it absolutely destroyed the previous record … which had belonged to Beyonce herself. While Hailey Baldwin enjoys Justin Bieber , for better or for worse, Selena Gomez is living her best life. It’s what she deserves. Remember how Beyonce broke the internet with her twin reveal photo? That pic received a staggering 7.8 million in only 12 hours. The pregnancy reveal pic that preceded it received 6.4 million within the first few hours. Beyonce is a powerhouse, there’s no question. But when the battleground is Instagram, Selena has no equal. It took Selena’s birthday party post only 13 minutes to reach 1 million likes. (The number of likes is currently near 9 million and will likely grow by the time that you even finish reading this sentence) That’s no real surprise. Selena Gomez has been the reigning champion when it comes to Instagram followers for some time. She is a social media titan and the one to beat. Even those who come close — like Ariana Grande, Christiano Ronaldo, and Beyonce — can’t quite surpass her follower count. Not yet, anyway. Selena is also paid more for Instagram ads. We all know that Instagram follower counts matter for more than just bragging rights and branding. Celebrities, no matter how wealthy, can make a small fortune with a few normal photos of themselves, promoting one product or another. Selena Gomez apparently makes a whopping $800,000 per Instagram endorsement. That means that she takes a photo wearing or holding a brand and makes more than three quarters of a million dollars. Beyonce makes $700,000 per photo. Of course, price is based upon more than just follower counts. It also has a lot to do with things like social media engagement. When it comes to Instagram ad prices, nobody beats out Kylie Jenner — who maks rakes in $1 million per pic. It’s easy to frame this conversation as a competition. A competition between Selena and Kylie over who makes the most per Instagram ad. A competition between Beyonce and Selena over who has the most followers, or who got the most likes the fastest. Instead, let’s keep this in perspective. This was a broken record. One day, perhaps very soon, someone else will get a million likes even faster than Selena. Social media is fueled by the people on it, and there are more people every single day who sign up for Instagram and click that like button. So, again, it’s not a competition. Though, if the race to a million likes were a competition … Selena is the current reigning champion. Selena’s 26 birthday is a big deal. Not because 26 is a huge milestone. It isn’t. Every birthday after 21 is a grim reminder that we all grow less socially relevant with each passing day as our bodies begin to fail and crumble beneath the weight of time. No, this birthday is a huge deal because … there were genuine doubts that she would make it this far. She has been battling Lupus for years. Just a little over a year ago, Selena was rushed to the hospital with kidney failure. Had it not been for a life-saving kidney transplant , it’s unclear if Selena would still be among the living. Kenya Moore: Out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta!

The long-gestating rumors have turned into a reality for Kenya Moore. According to a reliable new report, the veteran reality star will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Chatter over Moore’s role on the Bravo hit has been making the Internet rounds for weeks now. Heck, there was even talk about a month ago that Moore would be fired by producers because she did not want cameras in the room when she gave birth. (Indeed, Kenya is pregnant! How exciting, right?!?) This People Magazine article, however, makes no such grand (and semi-ridiculous) claim. It explains that Moore could not even technically be fired from the series because she was in the middle of a contract negotiation; she was not actually signed for Season 11. And that contract negotiation? It did NOT go smoothly. An insider tells People that production and Moore both wanted her to return as a full-time Housewife. However, she wanted more money than the network was offering, while executives did actually want to film all aspects of her life, most notably the time she spends with husband Marc Daly. Moore stunned fans last summer when she married Daly … … and she also stunned producers, who wanted to film the ceremony. If only they had known about it! But Kenya and Daly famously got eloped in June of 2017 when the Bravo cameras were down, without telling producers. He only appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta once during season 10, for a brief cameo. Moreover: The couple is expecting its first child together (he or she is due before the end of the year), yet Moore kept her entire fertility treatment away from series. Nor did she participate in last season’s cast trip to Barcelona. In other words: we sort of get where the show is coming from here. The whole point of being a cast member is to open up your life to viewers. You can’t pick and choose what aspects you wish to make public, not when you’re getting paid a ton tobe a Real Housewife. “Everyone wanted to have Kenya back, but they wanted to have the old Kenya back – the one who isn’t afraid of the cameras,” a source close to production told the aforementioned publication, adding: “You can’t have secrets and be on reality TV. Especially when other Housewives are showing all of their lives – the good, bad, and the ugly. “They need to see your life.” This report concludes that Daly isn’t really interested in being on the show; that Kenya knows her worth; and that she was fine playing hardball. She can live with this outcome. “Kenya really loves her life with her husband. She’s always wanted to be a wife and a mother, and she’s put all of her focus into her growing family,” the source explains. “She’s not going to jeopardize that for some television show.”

Matt Roloff: I’m Loving Life in Arizona!

Matt Roloff has made it very clear in his latest Instagram post: He may never return to Oregon. No, the Little People, Big World patriarch did not come out and say this directly. He didn’t even imply it, really. We’re just reading between the lines a little bit here, based on some of the rumors we’ve heard; some of the news that has been leaking out; and some of Matt’s own words. Roloff has said himself that he’s moving to Arizona , having reportedly purchased a home there that formerly belonged to the parents of his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. He’s been spending a lot of time in this state — and, as you can tell by the photo above, he’s having himself a blast there. “Must admit… I love the hot temps with the low humidity. Today 109 with 11%,” wrote Roloff as a caption to this image. Holy hotness, huh?!? But at least it was a dry heat. Matt is a busy man these days. And he’s not busy doing anything on his family’s farm, which is a pretty huge change for the veteran reality star. Roloff is actually about to embark on a book tour , telling Instagram followers that he may soon be coming to their city in order to meet them, greet them and sign some autographs. What does this all mean for the future of Little People, Big World? That’s what we’ve been wondering for awhile now. Over the past several installments of this TLC hit, both Matt and ex-wife Amy have expressed some doubts over where things are going. Said the latter a few weeks ago, for example: “I don’t know what the future of the farm really holds…  it’s a challenge sometimes with Matt and I living on the farm together, being divorced and everything.” Amy and Matt are both in serious relationships, the former with Chris Marek and the latter with Chandler. They’ve been living within just a couple hundred yards of each other for years now, despite their divorce and despite some understandable tension that exists between the exes. They do mostly get along, but they sometimes clash pretty hard over their shared business . Of course, the ex-spouses also have two grandkids, Jackson and Ember, both of whom reside in Oregon. Would Matt really move far away for extended periods of time? It seems a little hard to believe when you consider how close he is to these toddlers. Case in point: But Arizona is clearly calling on occasion and Matt is very happy to answer. TLC is yet to make any announcements about the future of Little People, Big World, leaving fans to wonder whether it will return after this current run of episodes is over. It’s not as though it hasn’t enjoyed a terrific run, of course. Heck, it’s helped the family set a world record ! If this will soon be the end, the series has had quite a run, that’s for certain. Matt Roloff: I’m Ready to Take Caryn Chandler Romance to the "Next Level!"

On this past Tuesday night’s episode of Little People, Big World, Matt Roloff made headlines for something he is NOT going to do. After giving it much consideration and speaking to his loved ones about the possibility, Roloff decided not to run for political office . But the veteran TLC personality also revealed something else about himself on this same installment, something that it sounds like he WILL be doing in the near future. And that something is this: Marrying Caryn Chandler! This is mere speculation on our part at the moment, although there have been rumors flying around for weeks that Roloff is engaged to Chandler , who formerly worked as his family’s farm manager. Lost in the aforementioned political talk from the latest episode of this reality series, however, is something the Roloff patriarch said about his girlfriend of over a year. “Caryn and I are looking to invest in property [in Arizona],” Matt said on air, confirming our report that he’ll be moving down south for at least part of the year . This is the first time Roloff has acknowledged that Chandler is a key aspect of that plan, however. And he wasn’t done talking about the couple’s clearly very serious future. “Amy and I have a lot of assets in the farm, so it’s really important that I start investing some of my personal money off the farm and really just having my own path that’s separate from Amy,” Matt continued, adding: “I feel very committed to Caryn. “Caryn and I are going on this adventure together, we are on this great track. So the idea of us having a vacation home that we share together, it’s interesting. “I think we are going to take our relationship to the next level.” There it is. The next level . This may mean an engagement. This may simply mean co-habitating with each other. But, either way, it’s the latest sign that Chandler will be in Matt’s life for a long, long time going forward. This has caused some tension between Matt and Amy, naturally, because they were married for 26 years and have four kids together. They also co-own the farm we cited above and Amy was pretty close to Chandler before she started to date her ex-husband. Amy, meanwhile, is involved with Chris Marek . This relationship is also pretty serious. However, unlike Matt with Caryn, Amy said on a recent episode that she will not really consider Marek when pondering her next step in life. “Chris is an important person in my life, but I have no set agenda – or time limit – on how we move forward,” she said. Amy went on to admit that she has also considered a move off the farm, regardless of whether she ends up with Marek for good or not: “I mean, look how much stuff I still have to figure out in my life. “So until I solidify certain other things that are going on in my life, I don’t want Chris to get involved.” Interesting contrast between Roloffs here, huh? Black Thought Drops 1st Ever Solo Project ‘Streams Of Thought Vol. 1’ [LISTEN]

The longtime Roots frontman released his first ever solo project Streams Of Thought Vol. 1 , with production from 9th Wonder and some powerful features from Rapsody and Styles P. At just five songs, the EP promises to the be the first of projects from the Philadelphia wordsmith. Opening with the blistering and soulful “TwoFifteen,” Black Thought goes on a 3-minute lyrical face-melting display and even pays homage in a dope nod to his hometown brethren Freeway. “9th Vs. Thought” is a classic head-nod-inducing banger from 9th and Black Thought once more showing and proving that at the age of 46 that he is still very much a potent lyricist. “Dostoyevsky” features the extremely talented Rapsody on the verse help out and if you know her music then you already know the bars were legendary. Another track, “Making Of A Murderer” was previously released in 2016, but still sounds quite current and Styles P of The Lox stood his ground with his veteran counterpart. Morgan Freeman Issues Strong Statement: I Have Never Committed Sexual Assault!

No, Morgan Freeman, insists in a new statement: NOT me too. In a disturbing new CNN report that came out this week, the veteran actor was accused by eight different women of sexual misconduct and/or harassment. The authors behind this report said they spoke to the eight women, along with eight separate witnesses, all of whom offered similar descriptions of Morgan’s behavior over the years. For example, one production assistant on the 2017 movie Going In Style told CNN that Morgan “kept trying to lift up my skirt and asking if I was wearing underwear.” He did until a co-star told him to stop. Then there was a senior production staff member on the set of the 2013 film Now You See Me who told CNN that Morgan made so many inappropriate comments about her attire that she stopped wearing tight articles of clothing around him. A CNN reporter named Chloe Melas even went on record with the charge that Morgan frequently looked her up and down and referred to as “ripe” when she interviewed the star last year. Oh, and she was six months pregnant at the time. In response to these accusations, Morgan said the following on Thursday: Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected – that was never my intent. Not exactly the most effective apology ever, right? He’s basically saying he did all this stuff, he just didn’t mean to offend anyone via his actions. Now, with his name being associated with others who have been brought down by the #MeToo movement , the 80-year old has issued a far more strongly-worded statement. He wants to make a few things clear. “I am devastated that 80 years of my life is at risk of being undermined, in the blink of an eye, by Thursday’s media reports,” he opened, adding: “All victims of assault and harassment deserve to be heard. And we need to listen to them. But it is not right to equate horrific incidents of sexual assault with misplaced compliments or humor. “I admit that I am someone who feels a need to try to make women – and men – feel appreciated and at ease around me. “As a part of that, I would often try to joke with and compliment women, in what I thought was a light-hearted and humorous way.” In conclusion: Clearly I was not always coming across the way I intended. And that is why I apologized Thursday and will continue to apologize to anyone I might have upset, however unintentionally. But I also want to be clear: I did not create unsafe work environments. I did not assault women. I did not offer employment or advancement in exchange for sex. Any suggestion that I did so is completely false. This is all well and good and likely true. But no one has accused Morgan of assault. They’ve said he treated women on set with extreme disrespect, basically viewing them as nothing but sex objects. Is this as bad as actually assaulting them? Of course not. However, the behavior is still part of a significant issue in society that is thankfully being addressed more and more often these days. It’s simply the issue of treating both men and women with equaly amounts of respect. Morgan is an Oscar winner who is best known for a handful of iconic movie roles. His most notable films include: Million Dollar Baby, The Shawshank Redemption and Batman Begins. Let’s hope he has learned some valuable lessons from the allegations leveled against him here. Ivanka Trump: Trolled Hard for Frosty Mother’s Day Message to Ivana

Sunday was Mother’s Day, and like so many other celebrities who wrote tributes to their moms, Ivanka took to Instagram to architect a post of her own. But she’s being slammed in the comments — even by people who seem to like her — for her brief, impersonal post about Ivana. Is she deliberately giving her mom the cold shoulder? Alongside an image of Ivana Trump, her mother who is one of Donald Trump’s ex-wives, Ivanka writes: “Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mother and the best skier I know!” That’s a … super specific bit of praise. “Love you.” She follows that with a double heart emoji and a “#MothersDay” tag. This was the accompanying image: A number of commenters weren’t exactly overcome with emotion when they saw this glamour shot of Ivana or when they saw her daughter’s message. “That was a weak Mother’s Day wish. Ivana, you deserve better than that.” “How nice… but I’m sure she has some pretty amazing attributes as a mother than just being the best skier.” “You are who you are because of her. She deserves more honor. Happy Mothers Day all!” “Wow, that’s it?! And she’s @itsivanatrump supposed to visit you in #prison?? #prisonprep101 #LockThemAllUp.” “Your dad should’ve been a better husband to her.” Some of those are more political than others, obviously. We included this image, because seeing it may highlight the brevity that alarmed so many commenters. For a comparison, let’s look at Ivanka’s sister, Tiffany Trump, and the post that she made to her mother, Marla Maples. Tiffany writes: “Happy Mother’s Day! [double heart emoji] @itsmarlamaples I love you with all of my heart and I’m so grateful for all of your love!” This caption accompanied a digital collage of photos of Tiffany and Marla: Tiffany’s post is nearly as terse and frosty as Ivanka’s, but the photo collage is much more personal. So perhaps it runs in the family? At the same time, we should consider that even some of the criticisms that were not overtly political may have been politically motivated. After all, it’s not like Ivana Trump has hordes of eager fans looking to defend her honor. Rather, when someone is the daughter of the most hated man on the planet and plays an active role in his policies, everything that she does looks like a mistake. That is understandable — the Mueller investigation is trudging along, but the wheels of justice move slowly. Entertaining revelations about Trump, Russia, and Stormy Daniels  aren’t really enough to distract from the waking nightmare of every day’s news. People are looking to vent, and when the First Daughter can’t seem to synthesize enough human emotion to publish a personal Mother’s Day message, that’s as good of an opportunity as any other. Ivanka and Tiffany’s Christmas video was much, much better than anything that they had to say about their moms. In Ivanka’s defense, she and Jared are very busy at the moment and, in fact, they’re overseas. In her … offense , we suppose … she and Jared are in Israel to oversee the deeply controversial moving of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This is seen as an insult to the Palestinian people, but some evangelical Christians believe that Trump is fulfilling biblical prophecy and ushering the world towards the End Times. (Hey, both sides of the aisle agree that Trump is leading the world towards its destruction! A rare moment of unity, we suppose) In the mean time, dozens of Palestinian protesters have been killed by Israeli snipers and countless others wounded. Mark Vanderpump: New Details Emerge on Death of Reality Star’s Brother

We have an update to the very sad story we posted yesterday about Lisa Vanderpump’s brother, Mark. As detailed on this website and on other outlets across the Internet, the long-time Bravo star lost her brother back on April 30, with various sources confirming Mark Vanderpump died of a drug overdose . He was only 59 years old. Many questions remain unanswered when it comes to this tragic development, such: Whether or not Mark deliberately took too many pills. Whether they actually were pills (or some other drug). Or whether this was an accidental death. In time, we presume most of these questions will be answered. For now, however, we can at least turn to Radar Online for an update on what happened to the British DJ. Contrary to initial reports about his passing, an insider tells Radar that Mark was NOT found dead in his Gloucestershire home. Instead, he was discovered while unconscious and taken to a nearby hospital. This is where he passed away. “He died in a Swindon Hospital and was transferred here on the 1st of May,” a UK official tells Radar . The official confirmed the Coroner’s Office in Gloucestershire will be carrying out an investigation in the near future, one that will involve an autopsy to confirm an exact cause of death. We’ll be sure to update readers with the results once they’re made public. This may not happen any time soon, however. Mark’s inquest was opened on May 10; and the coroner has scheduled a final court hearing to discuss the findings for cause of death for October 9, 2018. Until then, we’ll continue to send our condolences to the entire Vanderpump family. In light of this horrible incident, the veteran Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has released the following statement: This has come as a shock to us all. My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this. He was my only sibling and I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I am trying to be supportive to his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy. We appreciate your consideration in this private and extremely difficult family time. Mark and Lisa had a close relationship. They often went on vacation together and the former often dined at his sister’s famous restaurants. Lisa has thus far remained very quiet on social media and in public in the weeks since her brother was found dead. We don’t know when she’ll speak out again, but we can’t imagine the pain she must be in and we hope she takes as much time as she needs to heal properly before doing so.
