Farrah Abraham Sues Viacom for Teen Mom OG Firing!

Before we get started, let’s take a moment to reflect on Farrah Abraham and the many, many hate crimes she’s endured these past few months. Let’s consider how hard it’s been for her, and how the things she’s been going through have definitely, without a doubt been hate crimes. … Are we good now? Yes, so our beloved Farrah has been in a bit of a tailspin since October, when she was fired from Teen Mom OG . It’s taken a while to get the full story, mostly because for the first couple of months after it happened Farrah had been the only one telling the story. And as you may have noticed, she’s not the most reliable narrator. And also she has a hard time with words and figuring out how they work. To hear her tell it, she was fired because of her work in the sex industry, and to be fired for such a reason was literally a hate crime . She was sex-shamed by Teen Mom producers, she and her family had been manipulated for years into ruining their lives for good storylines. She had a lot of accusations. As it turns out, the powers that be didn’t love all the porn stuff, but another very big issue was the way Farrah treated crew members. Because she honestly treated them like absolute garbage . There was a little confusion over whether or not she was actually fired though — MTV owns the show, obviously but a separate production company films it, and they were the ones who did the firing. But regardless, she hasn’t been filming, and it seems like she’s really and truly done with Teen Mom. Well, she’s done being on Teen Mom — she still has some loose ends to tie up, though. Yesterday, Farrah marched down to the courthouse and filed herself a lawsuit against Viacom, Teen Mom’s production company, and Teen Mom executive producer Morgan J. Freeman. Why? According to the documents, she’s suing “to hold defendants responsible for (1) harassing her because she did not conform to gender stereotypes; (2) wrongfully terminating her employment because she did not conform to gender stereotypes; and (3) terminating her employment in retaliation for complaining about the gender-stereotyping harassment she suffered.” It’s already amazing, right?! She also suing for “breach of contract, conversion, unjust enrichment, negligence, negligent hiring, retention, and/or supervision, tortious interference with business relations, defamation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.” Now, we’re no lawyers, but you don’t really have to be a lawyer to see that she’s really just going for it with all of this. The documents also state that on the day she was fired, the production crew “harassed, humiliated, discriminated against, disrespected, ridiculed, degraded, and sex shamed” her for working in adult entertainment. She also claims here that Freeman threatened to sabotage any other deals she’d ever make with MTV, and that “given Freeman’s hostile tone, mannerisms, and body language,” she actually “feared for her life.” See what we mean about how she’s going for it? Farrah and her lawyers are suing for “emotional pain, emotional suffering, inconvenience, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life,” and the rest of the money she was supposed to earn for this season according to her contract. She’s suing for $5 million. Five million actual dollars. Actually, she’s asking for “an amount to be determined at trial but exceeding $5,000,000,” as well as her lawyer’s fees, so it’s even more ridiculous than that. It’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out, to say the least. View Slideshow: Farrah Abraham: Fired From Teen Mom OG, Getting Replaced By Who?! There’s absolutely no doubt Viacom has an amazing team of lawyers, but there’s also no doubt that Farrah has zero sense and would keep pushing this until she bankrupts herself. Grab your popcorn, friends, because this will almost definitely get good.

Lady Gaga Recalls ‘Jet Black’ Sky On September 11

MTV parent company Viacom recruits Gaga, DJ Pauly D, Nas and others to answer ‘What will you do to remember?’ By Jocelyn Vena, with additional reporting by Christina Garibaldi Lady Gaga Photo: MTV News As many Americans reflect on the events of September 11, with the upcoming the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks, MTV parent company Viacom has teamed with artists including Lady Gaga , Nas , DJ Pauly D, Julianne Hough and Drake Bell to launch a national day of service campaign that asks, “What will you do to remember?” Gaga, a native New Yorker, recently remembered where she was and what she was doing when it all happened. “On September 11, I was at school with my girlfriends,” she recalled of the day that forever changed her home city. “I just remember that the history teachers had us all piled into one room and had a television on and none of us believed it was happening,” she continued. “So we didn’t believe it, so we ran up to the roof and I just remember we got up to the roof, and one tower had already fallen and we all watched the second tower fall all together.” While Gaga was not anywhere near the actual site of the attack in downtown Manhattan, her mother was near it. “I don’t know; you really can’t describe something like that,” she said. “It’s too horrific. We were in disbelief. I still think sometimes I’m in disbelief. “My dad picked us up, we couldn’t reach my mom for a long time because she worked right across the street,” she continued. “We were really nervous and I just remember all we saw were these young men, really young. You could tell they worked on the floor at the stock and they were in their jackets and they were just covered in ashes and all you could see was the lines from the tears on their face. [My school] was miles and miles away, but the sky that hovered above us was jet black.” Through Sunday, Viacom’s networks will air specially produced “I Will” public service announcements featuring artists and actors, including Gaga, Fran Drescher, Pauly D, Nas, Hough and Bell, along with Viacom employees. The multiplatform public service campaign is designed to inspire Americans to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the attacks by committing to good deeds, charity or volunteer service. Working with MyGoodDeed and HandsOn Network, organizers of this year’s September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, the “I Will” campaign asks participants, “Ten years later, what will you do to remember?” “Every year on September 11 with my family, we take a moment together and acknowledge a tremendous loss in our city and in the world,” Gaga said. “I remember so many friends that lost family and so many people that lives were changed forever. “It’s a moment to honor New York,” she continued. “It’s a moment to come together and realize that New York really is forever changed and will always now be a family.” What will you do to remember 9/11? ‘Abduction’ Star Lily Collins Talks Taylor Lautner Kiss

Trailer shows only a ‘minor part’ of steamy scene, the actress reveals in our Fall Movie Preview. By Amy Wilkinson Taylor Lautner in “Abduction” Photo: Lionsgate Lily Collins is just two years into her burgeoning film career, but the 22-year-old actress has already racked up an impressive collection of A-list co-stars, including Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts. And, of course, “Twilight” hunk Taylor Lautner, who stars alongside Collins in the upcoming “Abduction.” Click for exclusive photos from Fall’s biggest flicks. The action-thriller centers on Lautner’s Nathan, who goes on the run with classmate Karen (Collins) to uncover his true identity after he discovers he’s actually a missing child. In anticipation of the September 23 release, we called up Collins to chat about this latest action-packed role, doing her own stunts and … that smooch with Lautner. MTV : Where does your character, Karen, fit on the spectrum of damsel in distress to kickass heroine? Lily Collins : We meet her in high school at the beginning of the story, and she’s had some sort of awkward past with Nathan that is alluded to, and they’re really awkward with each other at the beginning. She’s [a] cheerleader-kind of popular girl in school. And through this school assignment, she’s thrown into this crazy on-the-run journey with Nathan. And she starts out a young high school student and she grows into a woman quite fast during the story. She ends up kicking butt. MTV : We’ve seen Lautner sliding down buildings and generally being badass in the trailer, but how physical was this role for you? Collins : I get physical in the film but also use my surroundings and take note and use my mind to get out of things, like my female smarts. I got to do pretty much all of my own stunts. Ever since “Priest,” I’ve gotten really into stunt training. For “Snow White,” it’s been very intense fight training and fencing for a few months, but not for “Abduction.” I didn’t have training. I’d get to try things out a couple of times before we actually shot it. For me, I love just kind of diving into it. I don’t mind if I’m bruised or bumped or whatever. I feel like the more bumps and bruises I get, the more into it I’m getting and the more real it’s looking. MTV : We have to talk about that hot train kiss between you and Taylor. You know MTV likes to give out Golden Popcorns for such things. Could you see “Abduction” scoring a Best Kiss honor at the Movie Awards? Collins : [ Laughs ] Well, let’s just say the trailer only shows a minor part of that scene. So I think when people see the entire scene and where it starts and where it ends, I think people will get a little bit more excited about the scene when they see the entire thing. It was a crazy, funny scene to shoot, and Taylor made everything very comfortable. We’ll see what people say. Like I said, the trailer shows only a minor part of it. MTV : Perhaps you just answered this next question, but what was your favorite scene to film? Collins : [ Laughs ] No. [It’s when] the house explodes and we have to jump into the pool and we have debris falling on us. We did a separate day when we filmed solely underwater because we’re thrown into this pool, and the camera goes underwater and fire is everywhere. I’d never done something like that. You know, holding your breath for however long it was and having fire in the swimming pool we shot in and stuff falling on you, it was really so in the moment and energetic and very crazy to be shooting like that. From “Abduction” to “Muppets, “Moneyball” to “Breaking Dawn,” the MTV Movies team is delving into the hottest upcoming flicks in our 2011 Fall Movie Preview.
