Chick-Fil-A Customer Opens Fire After Car Cuts In Line At Drive-Thru Via RawStory reports: Authorities in Florida are searching for a suspect who opened fire after someone cut in front of him at a Jacksonville Chick-fil-A drive-thru. According to First Coast News, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to the restaurant at around 9:25 a.m. Monday morning and found that the victim’s car had been struck by at least one bullet in the driver’s side of the rear window. Investigators said that the victim had attempted to drive around an older brown Buick Regal which appeared to be stalled in the drive-thru line when the suspect got out of the passenger’s side of the car and began cursing. The suspect took out a black semi-automatic handgun, fired one or more rounds and then fled on foot. The driver of the brown Buick Regal drove off after the suspect. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is searching for an African-American male, about 5’10″ and 150 pounds. So sad. Nursing Home Resident Beats His Roommate To Death Dayum, he killed that man with a leg rest…folks just don’t give an isht. According to NY Daily News: A dispute over a curtain separating their beds exploded into blind rage early Wednesday when a Rockaways nursing home resident beat his elderly roommate to death with a wheelchair leg rest, police said. Thomas Yarnavick had been squabbling with his doomed roomie over privacy issues since they began sharing the room in July, police sources said. Yarnavick’s anger finally boiled over around 1 a.m. when they began quarrelling over the curtain, the sources said. Jailall Singh, the battered 71-year-old, was rushed to St. John’s Hospital, where he died at 2:43 a.m., cops said. Yarnavick, 67, who sometimes used a wheelchair, was arrested at the scene and charged later with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon — the leg rest. The suspect and the victim are from Queens. Other residents at the Ocean Promenade Rehabilitation and Nursing Center said the two men in room 308 didn’t get along. “Last night I heard screaming voices, but that happens all the time,” said 63-year-old Kamal Musa, who lives across the hall from the once-warring pair. But Aaron Lichtman, a spokesman for the home, insisted management was not aware the two men had been at odds. “It’s as if you live in a small, tight-knit town, and you wake up to incredibly tragic news,” he said. “This is like a small town.” Yarnavick, who was waiting to be arraigned late Wednesday, is no stranger to the legal system. He has a prior arrest on his rap sheet. But it wasn’t immediately clear what he had been arrested for because the case was sealed, sources said. His sister didn’t want to talk about him. “I haven’t seen my brother in 20 years,” said Muriel Calame, 69, of Gouldsboro, Pa. Located on Beach 113th St., the rest home was badly damaged during Hurricane Sandy and some 90 residents were forced to shiver for several days in the sand-filled building before it was evacuated. Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, dropped him off at an L.A. treatment center, presumably to deal with his rage issues – and stave off a prison sentence. Perhaps Breezy heeded Mike Tyson’s advice ? “Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility,” said a statement Tuesday night from his rep. There is no indication of substance abuse issues. Only rage. “His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and career from a healthier vantage point.” The L.A. County Probation Department is proceeding with an investigation to determine if Brown violated his probation in the 2009 Rihanna case. By getting arrested for assault for allegedly punching some guy in the nose, Chris could have his probation, and freedom, revoked. Conviction or not. Due to the victim’s injuries being less than severe and conflicting witness accounts, the felony charge against him has already been reduced to a misdemeanor. It’s the probation that’s the real problem for Chris, though, not this case. The embattled 24-year-old star flew to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail and met with L.A. County Probation Department officials today. Following his conviction for assault for his attack on Rihanna , he was given five years’ probation, which requires him to do community labor and obey all laws. Not done and not done. At best, the R&B singer is on thin ice at this point. It’s likely the Probation Department will conclude Brown violated his probation , and a judge could sentence him to as much as four years in prison. However, a judge could also withhold a decision until after the D.C. case plays out. In which case, the rehab move could show good faith and contrition. Ladies, be careful who you lay down with. Man Given Maximum Sentence For Killing Girlfriend Young people need to realize that if one person doesn’t want you, there are plenty fish in the sea. He did not have to torture this girl like this. Damn. According to KOMO: A 21-year-old man whose rage over a breakup ended up in murder, apologized to his victim’s family as he was sentenced in King County Superior Court. Jarod Lane will spend the next 33 years in prison for killing 17-year-old Jessica Scholl in May of 2012. So many of Scholl’s supporters filled the courtroom to see her young killer sentenced, they had to bring in more benches. “I couldn’t believe that my beautiful daughter who I’d just seen a few hours before could be dead,” said Stephanie Scholl, Jessica’s mother. Jessica had ended her two-year relationship with Lane, and then a week later, he ended her life. “Jessica was tortured for a good length of time,” Stephanie Scholl said. “Jarod didn’t afford her any sympathy or compassion.” When Lane couldn’t win Jessica back, he showed up at her Renton home before school and stabbed her so hard with kitchen knives, the blades broke. “He tried to strangle her with a belt, hit her head against the dresser multiple times, then he drug her to the bathroom where he tried to drown her in the toilet,” said King County deputy prosecutor Jennifer Worley. “When that didn’t work, he bashed her head against the toilet tank.” Horrible! Lane set the Scholl’s house on fire to cover his crime and was found four days later in Oklahoma. Lane told the court he never planned the murder, then apologized to the grief-stricken parents who had welcomed him into their home, then murdered their only child. “I can’t express how apologetic and deeply sorry I am for my selfish acts on that unthinkable, unimaginable, and unforgettable day,” Lane said. Jessica’s family and friends then implored the judge to sentence Lane to the maximum 33 years for murder and arson. “He took the life of my 17-year-old daughter, who was just beginning to live her life,” Stephanie Scholl said. The judge agreed and gave Lane the maximum sentence. “Even though a sentence doesn’t bring her back, I really hope that it brings resolution and ultimately some peace for each of you,” said Judge Mary Yu. After the sentence, Lane’s mother handed us a note that read: “My love for my son is unconditional, there aren’t enough sorries in the world for all the lost milestones and life events, my heart aches daily for Jessica’s family.” Lane’s attorney says he’s tried several times in custody to end his own life So he took her life and tried to take his because he couldn’t live with what he did…coward.

Man Gets Repeatedly Stabbed By Homeless Man After Giving Him $1 A Long Island homeless man is in police custody after he reportedly stabbed a man who gave him $1 and then refused to give him more. via CBS New York A homeless man pleaded not guilty Monday to charges he repeatedly stabbed a man in Elmont while attempting to rob him. James Howley, 46, was arrested Sunday on assault, attempted robbery and other charges, Nassau County police said. Just after 3 a.m. Sunday, police said Howley approached a man on Meacham Avenue near Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont and asked for money. The man gave Howley a dollar, police said. But police said Howley saw that the man had more money in his wallet and demanded he be given more. When the man refused, police said Howley pulled out a knife and repeatedly stabbed and slashed him across the face, neck, chest and hands. The man was able to grab a pipe that was lying on the ground and hit Howley with it, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries.
