The mess is hitting the fan in Chicago. Lupe Fiasco also responded to Chief’s diss back: @OsoArrogantJoJo WAS BEEFIN WITH LIL REESE N CHIEF KEEF (GBE) THATS IN THE CAR YELLING AT REESE.. JOJO DIED AFTER THIS HAPPENED.. Cashout (Jojo’s brother) was the one who dissed Chief Keef’s mother on the phone in the previous video we posted” – Goon212 “Chicago police are investigating possible connections between the Tuesday slaying of a teen rapper, a raging Englewood gang conflict and a mocking Tweet on the account of the victim’s rap rival — rising South Side star Chief Keef, sources told the Chicago Sun-Times. Hours after the murder, on Chief Keef’s Twitter account, a message was posted saying, “Its Sad Cuz Dat N—- Jojo Wanted To Be Jus Like Us #LMAO.” LMAO is slang for “laughing my ass off.” That Tweet drew angry responses among Chief Keef’s 224,000 Twitter followers. His account later carried Tweets claiming it had been hacked and saying, “If u dnt talk 2 me or dro my manager … it’s not real.” Chicago police officers were on the street Wednesday night looking for Coleman’s killer. Police are looking to see if his murder is connected to an ongoing conflict in Englewood between the Gangster Disciples and Black Disciples street gangs that has been playing out in a series of threats on social media sites. In Keef’s responses on his account, Chicago-born rap star Lupe Fiasco was called out, with the Keef account posting: “wen I see him I’ma smack him like da lil b—- he is #300.” On his account, Fiasco, who recently told a radio station he was scared of the violence Chief Keef represents, replied “I cant go 4 that @ChiefKeef & i cant let the people i love, including you my n—-, go 4 that either. We kings not f—— savages and goons” Later, Fiasco sounded despondent — and done with rap, Tweeting: “but my heart is broken and i see no comfort further along this path only more pain. I cannot participate any longer in this… My first true love was literature so i will return to that…lupe fiasco ends here…” JoJo was Cashout’s brother and in Bricksquad… expect more violence. Who taught these guys to shoot?!?! Empire State Building Shooting Victims Were Shot By Police A laid-off designer hellbent on revenge executed the man he blamed for his firing on a packed Midtown street yesterday — and then baited NYPD officers into a suicide-by-cop outside the Empire State Building that left nine pedestrians struck by police gunfire. Jeffrey Johnson maniacally pumped five rounds into his former colleague Steve Ercolino around 9 a.m. outside 10 W. 33rd Street. He then calmly strolled onto bustling Fifth Avenue, where he pointed his weapon at cops. The ensuing gunfire sent tourists and commuters into a frenzied scramble for cover right in front of the main entrance of the landmark skyscraper. “I couldn’t believe there was a shooting at 9 o’clock in the morning in front of the Empire State Building!” said Marc Engel, an accountant who witnessed the shoot-’em-up from an M34 bus. “It took about 15 seconds, a lot of pop, pop, pop, pop — one shot after another.” How the hell did 9 people get shot by the cops you ask? Johnson, who was carrying a black canvas tote-bag, pulled out his .45 as he spotted the cops — who were posted outside the Empire State Building. The officers ordered him to “freeze” and drop his weapon, but Johnson raised his gun instead, according to Browne. The cops opened fire — hitting Johnson with at least seven of their 17 shots, Browne said. Two innocent bystanders were hit by rounds from the cops’ guns, while another seven passers-by were grazed or struck by bullet fragments that ricocheted off large flower pots along Fifth Avenue. Here are some of the facts that have been revealed in the wake of the tragic shooting * All nine wounded bystanders were struck by NYPD bullets that were aimed at Johnson, whose handgun jammed when he tried to shoot at the officers. The victims were five women and four men. * Johnson, 58, blamed his victim and ex-co-worker, sales exec Steve Ercolino, for causing his dismissal as a women’s accessory designer about two years ago from Hazan Import Co. * One of the cops who killed Johnson, Officer Craig Matthews, is suing the NYPD for retaliation he faced after exposing arrest and summons quotas in The Bronx’s 42nd Precinct. Although there has been no word of this yet, we suspect that the NYPD will be facing big lawsuits from those injured by stray bullets. Image via AP Source
Hip-Hop has had a dark cloud over it for the last 20 or so years : its use of the word “b-tch” in reference to women. Whenever anyone wants to lob criticism at Hip-Hop, its degradation of women always comes first. The word is the safety net for people that want to disregard any good the genre does… Continue
We wanted to show you what everyone in court saw and see if it changes your opinion. An overwhelming amount of feedback and big opinions were tossed around on and offline yesterday about the Tony Farmer case. All of this makes us ask the question, Have we become too forgiving when it comes to Assault? Are we more concerned about this talented athlete and his ruined Basketball career? Should he have gotten a slap on the wrist and been sent on his way? His Lawyer seemed to think Farmer would get probation and from Tony’s reaction yesterday, we’re pretty sure he was thinkin’ the same. Maybe he should have gotten served with mandatory time at a treatment facility? Maybe he won’t serve all three years of his sentence? We can try to spin this in a positive light but really, what it boils down to is another Assault case that has our community up in arms…but for the wrong reason. We are somehow neglecting to keep in mind that Tony plead guilty to robbery, assault, kidnapping (which is a federal offense and brings more than 3 years in some cases), and intimidation of the victim. All of this stemming from the same attack you just watched. That same attack where you see his ex crouching in a corner, flinching away from him, as his 6’7″ azz scares her to death, beats her, and proceeds to pull her outside by her hair. We hope all parties involved find some peace and that everyone at least takes a real lesson away from all of this: That one bad decision will change the rest of your life forever. Images via Twitter
Manhattan Montessori Principal Gets Up To 7 Years In Prison Relationship With Underage Student This lady looks like she could probably pull a decent man of age, but hey, she must like the young meat… She tried arguing that she “faints” and has anxiety, and even that her boy victim had enjoyed it. But there was no mercy yesterday for Lina Sinha, the beautiful former headmistress of an Upper East Side Montessori school, who was finally sent away to serve at least 2 1/3 years in prison for her twisted and damaging sex affair with a student who was just 13. “This is a woman of every advantage, and she preyed on her victim for years,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Carol Berkman said as the predatory ex-principal stared glumly down at the defense table. “She hijacked his life as a child,” the judge said of the victim, who grew up to be a New York City cop and had compellingly taken the witness stand, describing years of trysts on class furniture and in a field-trip van with the Montessori School of New York headmistress he called “Miss Sinha.” “She did try to destroy his life,” the judge said. “So time has passed, but the victim has not regained the childhood the defendant has stolen for him, and I presume he never will.” Sinha, 46, had remained free on bail, pending appeal, for the five years since a Manhattan jury convicted her of a depraved predation that might never have been exposed. The victim came forward only as a police officer in training, after he finally broke off their nine-year “relationship” in 2004 and Sinha embarked on a rampage of vengeance against her former boy toy, including making bogus accusations of assault and rape and repeated 911 calls and Civilian Complaint Review Board allegations. “This case came at great personal embarrassment to him,” Assistant District Attorney Robert Hettleman, chief of the Manhattan DA’s child-abuse unit, said of the victim, whose courage he praised. The victim, whose name is being withheld, was a Queens-based, 24-year-old rookie when he testified against Sinha in 2007, and remains a cop, Hettleman said. Sinha spoke briefly, and tearfully, at the proceeding, wasting not a word on apologies or regrets. Instead, she went on about how difficult the past eight years have been for her and her family, and the great sacrifices she had made to become an educator, given her family’s money and “the many doors open to me.” “Most people thought I did a very good job” in education, she told the judge. “If you deem it fit for me to go to prison, then that is what I will do,” she said. “I have gone through their life savings,” she complained, referring to her family. “I have gone through my life savings a long time ago.” Sinha tried through veteran defense lawyer Gerald Shargel to argue for a reduction in sentence. She suffers from glaucoma and diabetes, and has fainting spells and anxiety problems, Shargel told the judge. This lady sounds like a trip. Her perverted azz needs to be locked up for preying on young boys like that. Source
James Holmes appeared in court for the first time today, and both video accounts and witness accounts confirm that the alleged Aurora, Colorado shooter exhibited extremely unusual behavior while listening to a judge charge him with first degree murder. As you can see, the 24-year old donned organ hair and a red jumpsuit, sitting alongside his lawyer and shifting between wide open eyes and shut eyes. At various time, it appeared as if he had fallen asleep. Holmes remained silent for the duration of the hearing, as the judge informed this suspect that he would be held without bail and forbidden from contacting the families of his 12 victims . Arapahoe County District Attorney Carol Chambers spoke briefly with reporters after the courtroom session and said it’s unknown at the moment whether prosecutors will seek the death penalty against Holmes. His trial is expected to begin in the summer of 2013.
A few weeks ago, bus driver Karen Klein was harassed by students in ways that were inexplicably horrendous. They mocked the 69-year old to no end, at one point even saying her kids should commit suicide because she’s so ugly. It was an experience no one should ever go through… but there is a silver lining, and it’s covered in wads of cash. Very soon after video of Klein’s bullying went viral, Internet users started to collect donations for the victim. Within 24 hours, $9,000 was raised to send Klein on a much-needed vacation. But the story spread and the money kept pouring in. And we now appear to have a final tally for the amount that total strangers gave to this mocked bus monitor: $703,873 . That’s not a typo. The seventh grade boys responsible for the taunts have all been suspended for an entire school year. They’ve also been ordered to complete a bullying prevention program. Let’s all hope they learn a valuable lesson. And let’s all hope Klein makes the most out of this windfall. We might not go as far as to say the vindictive mockery was worth it, but… well… $703,873!!!
Comic-Con isn’t even underway yet, but it’s already making news, and in the worst possible way: Tuesday, a woman was struck by a car and killed in San Diego while waiting in line to see some of her favorite actors from Breaking Dawn Part 2 . Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate released a joint statement today: “Lionsgate, Summit and the entire Twilight community are saddened by the death of a Comic-Con fan today due to a traffic accident leading up to this year’s convention in San Diego. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends.” “She will be respectfully remembered this Thursday in Hall H.” The Twilight fan community responded just as quickly. Hours after the news of the tragedy broke, “RIPTwiFanG” was trending worldwide on Twitter. It is unclear how the victim, a 53-year-old woman, will be recognized during the panel, but hopefully fans observe caution from here on out. It’s not uncommon for fans to stand in line for days just to get into to the San Diego Convention Center and capture a glimpse of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene & Co., and who can blame them. But be careful people. Let this Comic-Con death be the last. [Photo: WENN.com]
