This piece of isht doesn’t even have an argument to make in court … According to NBC News : DeMarco Myles, 19, wrote down his first name and cell phone number for a 19-year-old Howard University student after he allegedly raped her in her room at Bethune annex, an all-women’s dorm, Friday afternoon. Police tracked the number to a Fourth Street NW address where Myles lives with his mother and arrested him. The first attack took place in a Rhode Island Row apartment Oct. 26 in Northeast D.C. The victim, a 24-year-old consultant, was working from home when she got a knock at the door about 2 p.m. by a man who said he was promoting a party. He forced his way in to her apartment before allegedly trying to kill her. She said she screamed at the top of her lungs and fought back as he kicked and beat her and stabbed her at least 25 times. The Howard student told police the suspect appeared in her room and made casual conversation about 1:15 p.m. Friday, one week after the first attack. She told him to get out, but he didn’t. She began texting a friend, and the suspect pulled out brass knuckles with a purple blade, grabbed the victim’s phone, texted the victim’s friend and then raped the victim, according to court documents. Then he allegedly wrote the note, saying, “Since you don’t know me, here’s my number.” He tried to cross out the phone number, according to court documents, but detectives were able to read it. A man matching Myles’s description entered other rooms at Bethune but left when asked, detectives learned. Myles told detectives that the sex with the Howard student was consensual, but he admitted forcing his way in to the Rhode Island Row apartment and stabbing her after she resisted, according to court documents. He asked detectives if she survived, saying he didn’t mean to kill anyone. Thoughts go out to the victim and we can only hope this disgusting kid gets a reality check in prison soon!! Images via nbc

There’s new information regarding the heartbreaking story of two young children who were stabbed to death by their nanny. According to RadarOnline reports : We’ve got new details for you in the case of Yoselyn Ortega, the Manhattan nanny accused of violently killing 6-year-old Lucia Krim and her 2-year-old brother Leo last week. The NY Post reported that the parents of the murdered children, Marina and Kevin Krim, had given the 50-year-old an ultimatum to do better at her job, or they’d find someone else. “She was told that if she didn’t improve her work, she would be let go,” an insider said, adding those close to the situation reported that the nanny was having mental and financial issues and looked unhealthy in the month prior to the double-murder. Police said Ortega told some she was planning on seeking psychological help, though it’s unclear if she did. “There was friction between her and the family,” police told The NY Post, adding the nanny was also enraged at the prospects of adding an extra five hours housework to her job duties for extra payment. “They were asking her to clean, to do housework. She was unhappy about that,” police sources told the paper, adding Ortega said the extra time would have cut into her doctor’s schedule. “She said something like, ‘I’m paid to watch the children, not clean up and do housework,’” the source told the paper of the nanny’s statements in the wake of the double murder. This doesn’t excuse what happened, but still it’s a far cry from the portrait the dad’s mother painted of her, saying the nanny was treated like gold. Does this make you nervous to let someone else take care of your kids?

Yesterday, Chris Brown had yet another day in court to update the judge on the status of his community service activities and to evaluate his compliance with his 5-year probation sentence received as punishment for the felony assault charge he faced after delivering a brutal beat-down to his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. via Huffington Post A judge on Thursday ordered Chris Brown to remain on supervised probation and make another court appearance after he completes an overseas tour. Brown remains on supervised probation for felony assault for an attack on Rihanna in 2009. He is scheduled to begin a tour that spans several countries in Europe and South Africa on Nov. 14. On the upside, in the almost 4 years since the incident occurred, Breezy has completed countless hours of community service , checked in regularly with his probation officers and at his court hearings, and has even “reconciled” with the victim of his vicious attack. Brown “appears to be making a sincere effort to comply with terms and conditions of probation,” a probation officer wrote in a report prepared for Thursday’s hearing. The report recommended that Brown remain on probation under the same conditions he has abided by since pleading guilty to the attack on the eve of the Grammy awards. Brown appeared at the hearing along with his mother and attorney Mark Geragos. He did not speak during the proceedings, and when he attempted to at one point during discussions of his schedule, Geragos joked, “I don’t dance, you don’t talk.” Brown is scheduled to return to court Jan. 17. However, on the downside of things, the former blonde-haired bad boy has also thrown public temper tantrums, lashed out publicly at businesses and the media for not supporting him , and even failed a drug test during the course of his probation. Not to mention becoming the poster child for a PR nightmare with his repeated questionable decision-making, such as choosing to dress as a terrorist for Halloween. Despite his troubled past and sketchy present persona, some feel that Rih-Rih’s choice to reunite with her lovesick loverboy, in addition to her letting the world know that she has forgiven him and still considers him “the love of her life,” should exempt him from continuing to face legal consequences for committing a crime against someone who now welcomes him into her life….and her bed….on the regular. WTF!?!?!? Cop Tazes Boy For Refusing To Wash His Car At School’s Career Day A ten-year-old boy was tasered by a police officer with 50,000 volts of electricity on a school playground after refusing to clean the officer’s car. Via KHQQ6 News : According to the complaint filed in court the officer was at Tularosa New Mexico Intermediate School for a career day. The boy was playing on the playground with a group of friends when officer Webb asked the boys who would like to clean his patrol car. A number of the boys volunteered, except for the victim who jokingly said he wouldn’t. The officer responded to the boy’s sarcastic remark by saying, “Let me show you what happens to people who do not listen to the police.” He then tasered the boy, who weighs less than 100 pounds, in the chest causing him to black out. When the boy came to, instead of calling for emergency medical assistance, he took the boy to the principal’s office. The boy, was left with scars resembling cigarette burns and has since been suffering from PTSD, often waking up in the middle of the night grabbing his chest, fearful of never waking up again. The incident happened on May 4, 2012 but now the New Mexico Department of Public Safety and Police Officer Chris Webb are being sued by the boys guardian, Rachel Higgins. Higgins is seeking punitive damages for the 10-year-old for battery, failure to render emergency medical care, excessive force, unreasonable seizure and negligent hiring, training, supervision and retention. WHAT THE HELL!?! What kind of idiot does that to a child? We hope the parents sue the city, the police department and the officer. Sue this man and the whole damn state!

An arrest has been made and more is now known about the shooting at Creflo Dollar’s Atlanta church Wednesday and it’s likely to get you heated about the failures of our justice system. Via Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports : A man arrested Wednesday and charged with the fatal shooting of a prayer leader at World Changers Church International pleaded guilty to shooting a man a decade ago in Baltimore and was committed to a mental health facility there. Floyd Palmer, 52, calmly walked into a prayer service Wednesday morning at the College Park megachurch founded by the Rev. Creflo Dollar and opened fire as 20 to 25 people watched in horror. Greg McDowell, 39, fell mortally wounded and Palmer, a former church employee, “left just as calmly” as he entered, Fulton County police spokeswoman Cpl. Kay Lester said. The suspect left in a black Subaru station wagon and was in the vortex of a massive police search until he was arrested without incident at Lenox Square in Buckhead just before 4 p.m. Palmer, who resigned from the church in August for personal reasons, had been charged previously with attempted murder. In 2004 he pleaded guilty to assault charges and was deemed “not criminally responsible” and was committed, according to Maryland court records. Other records indicate that shooting occurred in 2001. Christine Singleterry, Palmer’s former mother-in-law, said Palmer shot a man following an argument at a Baltimore mosque. “He got him to go outside and then shot him in the parking lot,” said Singleterry. She said he served about 18 months in the mental facility and was released. She said the victim remains paralyzed. Singleterry said her daughter, who is now deceased, divorced Palmer in the 1990s because he was abusive. They had two daughters who are now grown. “He was mixed up and argumentative,” she said. Family members said he moved to Atlanta several years ago. Mack Simpson, who is married to Palmer’s sister, was shocked to hear the news. “That’s a shame,” he said. “This is the second time.” McDowell, a father of two young children, was a member of the church’s production crew and a facilities maintenance manager there, police said. Karen Webb, who had taken her mother to the church for Bible study, said she was told the victim was shot six times. “I brought my mother up here to go to church — every Wednesday she attends Bible study. As soon as we get here I’m told someone has been shot,” Webb said. “He was one of the praise leaders.” Dollar, a popular televangelist, started World Changers Ministries in 1986 with eight members, holding services in the cafeteria of a local elementary school, according to the church’s website. Its campus now occupies 81 acres, with services held in the 8,500-seat World Dome. Dollar is a regular on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Attempts to reach Dollar were unsuccessful. Ken Terry, a pastor at the church, called McDowell a “tremendous leader, role model and father.” He said McDowell had been a longtime member of the church. “He was faithful for a number of years. We have known him for years. Since he was a little kid.” Terry spoke of McDowell’s two sons. “He spent a tremendous amount of time with them. He was the model dad.” McDowell was described as an uplifting man, as evidenced by postings on his Facebook site. In 2010, McDowell wrote, “One of the most valuable assets we can possess is a positive attitude towards our lives. Your attitude is one of the first things people notice when they come in contact with you. Make it good.” Another time, he wrote, “Life’s too short not to enjoy it.” This man was allowed free after shooting someone, injuring him so badly that he was paralyzed and then he took a good man off this earth and away from his family? Aw hell naw. Somebody gotta pay. What the fawk is going on with our justice system that this is allowed to happen time and time again. It’s beyond time to get tough on violent convicts. SMH. In order to get benefits, women in Pennsylvania will have to prove that they reported their assaulter they accused of rape . According to The Huffington Post : …the measure, proposed by five Republican state lawmakers, seeks to eliminate an increase in benefits if a child is conceived while a woman is covered under the Temporary Assistance To Needy Family program. A woman can seek an exception to this if the child is conceived as a result of rape. However, she must prove that she reported the incident to the authorities and gave the police her assaulter’s identity. The bill reads: Elimination of benefits under subsection (d) shall not apply to any child conceived as a result of rape or incest if the department: (1) receives a non-notarized, signed statement from the pregnant woman stating that she was a victim of rape or incest, as the case may be, and that she reported the crime, including the identity of the offender, if known, to a law enforcement agency having the requisite jurisdiction or, in the case of incest where a pregnant minor is the victim, to the county child protective service agency and stating the name of the law enforcement agency or child protective service agency to which the report was made and the date such report was made. According to the Rape, Abuse, & Incest National Network, 54 percent of rapes and assaults are not reported to the police. Last month, New Mexico’s Children, Youth and Families Department considered a similar measure that would have only exempted victims of “forcible rape” from having to file child support claims against an absent parent. Gov. Susana Martinez (R) quickly pulled the “forcible” language after the proposal sparked backlash. New York City officials are already teed off over Ken and Sarah Burns documentary The Central Park Five — but just wait until they see the poster for the headlines-generating film. The stark, black-and-white image simply, effectively — and immediately — communicates the idea that the scales of justice did not work for the five men who were convicted and later cleared in the racially charged 1989 Central Park jogger case that rocked the city. As I reported in early October, lawyers for the city of New York have subpoenaed notes and outtakes from the documentary, which Burns directed with his daughter Sarah Burns and her husband David McMahon, in order to determine whether the material can help them fight a federal civil rights lawsuit that five men filed nine years ago as a result of their experience. (Each of the five men is seeking $50 million.) The documentary, which was shown at the Cannes, Telluride and Toronto film festivals, scrutinizes the initial convictions of the Central Park Five — Yusef Salaam, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana, and Kharey Wise — noting, for instance that the five men did not appear to be in the area of the park where the rape occurred, that their DNA was not found on the victim and that their confessions did not jibe with one another’s. As I also reported, the filmmakers are fighting the subpoena . Sarah Burns told me, “We’re not sure the city can subpoena us because we believe we’re protected by the shield laws” that allow journalists to protect their sources and research. In 2009, on the 20th anniversary of the incident, the lawyer for the five men, Jonathan Moore called their experience “the most racist prosecution that occurred in the City of New York. The city maintains that that cops and prosecutors acted appropriately. “We believe that based on the information that the police and prosecutors had at the time, they had probable cause to proceed, and the confessions were sound,” a city spokeswoman told the New York Times. The second-year Carolina Panthers quarterback was the subject of a scathing editorial cartoon in Wednesday’s edition of The Charlotte Observer. He’s depicted performing his patented Superman touchdown celebration only to reveal a Hello Kitty logo on his chest. The cartoon appears six days after the Panthers’ 36-7 loss to the New York Giants. Newton was roundly criticized for emphatically celebrating a touchdown with his team down 23-0 in the third quarter against the defending Super Bowl champions. Later in the game, veteran wide receiver Steve Smith reportedly had “unchoice words” for Newton after the quarterback sulked on the bench following his third interception. Newton’s behavior in the postgame press conference was similarly sulky. On Sunday, ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported Newton was seeing a “mind coach” to help him deal with the pressure of being an NFL quarterback. Newton denied the report. The 2011 No. 1 overall draft pick, Newton shattered a number of NFL rookie quarterback records last season, including those for most passing and rushing yards. But his record as a starter is a middling 7-12 and this, evidently, is a cause for the Observer to jump ship on the Panthers quarterback three games into his second season. A “mind coach”??? WTF is that about? We hope Cam doesn’t go the way of Vince Young and start losing his mind before his prime.
