The incident went down at last year’s Met Gala. It turns out the fade victim refused to cooperate despite being seen on camera catching the fade . TMZ reports that since the victim passed on speaking to NYPD detectives, the security won’t be facing any charges while the assault case has been dropped. However, the “fan” in question has filed a civil lawsuit against the Migos and Cardi. Sounds like he’s banking on catching a check for his claims of suffering injuries to his face and body. It has happened yet again — another teacher has been arrested after being accused of sexually preying upon an underage student. This time, it was a Georgia-based physical education teacher. She has resigned from her job, but she’s certainly not out of the woods yet. Sarah Katherine Brooks is a physical education teacher in Georgia. Or, at least, she was . Until very recently, Brooks taught at Archer High School, located about an hour east of Atlanta. She is accused of sexually preying upon one of her underage students. According to the mother of a 17-year-old student, she would have sex with the student during off-campus “tutoring” sessions. According to the affidavit, Brooks “did, while employed as a teacher, engage in sexual contact with the victim.” The accusation continues: “who said accused knew or should have known was a student enrolled at the same school.” On Friday, March 15, she was actually charged with a crime. She faces a charge of felony sexual assault by persons with supervisory or disciplinary authority. The significance of that is that the teen is not only a minor, but someone over whom she wielded power. Hypothetically, a teacher can leverage their relative power in a sexual relationship with a student. This should never happen. According to the allegations, Brooks and her alleged victim had sex at least three times since October. One of those incidents allegedly took place at the 17-year-old teen’s family home. The victim’s mother was at work at the time. Brooks was released on $11,200 bond. As if the current situation were not enough, 25-year-old Brooks is also married. Archer High School principal Ken Johnson sent home a letter to parents about the incident. “On Monday we received a report about this situation,” the letter begins. “And,” Johnson writes. “Our school immediately contacted the police and the school district’s Division of Human Resources.” “As this has been and continues to be an active police investigation,” the letter notes. “There are not many details I can share.” “However,” Johnson promises. “I can tell you that the teacher has resigned from Gwinnett County Public Schools.” “The school system will be forwarding information about these allegations to the Professional Standards Commission,” the letter adds. “While this is not a situation we have experienced at our school previously,” Johnson notes. “One time is too many.” For the record, just because a district has no record of this happening does not mean that it has never happened. “Ethics matter,” the letter affirms. “And the trust our community places in its educators matters to Archer and to Gwinnett County Public Schools.” “This is not something we take for granted,” the principal concludes. F**kery. According to ABCNews , a Boynton Beach man spent his wedding day in jail after assaulting a 24-year-old beachgoer. The story goes that 27-year-old Jeffrey Alvord approached the unnamed victim who was sitting on the beach and told him that he needed to move because the wedding was starting in 15 mins. Alvord even offered him $20 for his troubles, but ol’ boy demanded $50. Things got heated as 2 groomsmen approached to calm everybody down, but it was too late. Alvord said the victim became belligerent and he punched the man in the face and broke his nose. The would-be groom spent the night in Palm Beach County jail charged with aggravated battery causing harm or disability and criminal mischief between $200 and $1,000. ‘Til left (hook) do they part.
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Tristan Thompson was caught cheating on Khloe Kardashian last month. There was nothing terribly surprising about the situation, as Tristan has been caught cheating on Khloe multiple times in the past. This time, however, Tristan’s choice of cheating partner left Khloe and her fans absolutely floored. Thompson hooked up with Jordyn Woods , the longtime best friend of Khloe’s youngest sister, Kylie Jenner. The episode left Woods’ life absolutely shattered. At the time of the incident, Jordyn was living in Kylie’s guesthouse . She’s since been kicked out and forced to move back in with her mother. Jordyn lost not only her best friend and her home, but also her sole means of support. (Kylie is so rich that being her bestie counts as a job.) Insiders say Woods is in damage control mode and hoping to salvage what’s left of her career and public image. Against the advice of those who believe she should simply lay low for a while, Jordyn recently sat down for an interview with Jada Pinkett Smith with the goal of gaining some empathy from the online hordes who have been hurling vitriol for weeks. Interestingly, however, Tristan seems to have no major concerns about his own reputation. In fact, as you can see from his latest Instagram post, the Cleveland Cavs forward is living the good life these days. For obvious reasons, Tristan has been keeping a relatively low profile on social media in recent weeks. That came to an end Thursday night, however, as Thompson posted a pic in which he appears to be enjoying some red wine. The stark difference between Tristan and Jordyn’s situations has led many to cry foul over the way Woods has been mistreated by the Kardashians, their fans, and the media. Yes, she betrayed those closest to her, and perhaps she deserves to lose their friendship as a result. But it’s important to remember the facts of the situation: For one thing, Jordyn is 21 — an age at which idiotic mistakes are pretty much par for the course. On top of that, Jordyn’s not the one who was in a relationship at the time of the infidelity. Yes, she certainly owes a great deal of loyalty to Khloe — but not as much as Khloe’s baby daddy. We’re not proposing that Jordyn should be completely let off the hook for her misdeeds — we’re merely suggesting it might be time to redistribute the blame a bit. This week, it looked like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills may be turning on Lisa Vanderpump . Behind the scenes, it looks like some of the show’s worst fans may be turning on the stars. Erika Girardi received a piece of vile hate that threatened the life of her son. A fan Instagram account shared a screenshot of a vicious, hateful troll’s tweet. The tweet, directed at Erika Girardi, caught her attention and she shared it. “Has someone shot your son yet?” the monstrous text reads. “You probably could care less,” the tweet taunts. “Since you didn’t raise him.” “Maybe he’s better off dead,” the despicable message concludes. Erika shared the post on her own Instagram, writing: “This is disgusting.” That is, well, an understatement. Erika’s son is a police officer in Los Angeles. While statistics tell us that this is the safest time in decades to be a police officer, that does not mean that her son is not at risk. It also does not invalidate her very real worries about his safety. She never truly knows when an ordinary night at work could turn into mortal peril. There is good news about this targeted harasser. No user by this handle still exists. It turns out that if your hateful tweets of this nature get reported by hundreds of people, Twitter takes action. (Unless you’re tweeting from the White House, anyway) But this same monstrous troll also took aim at Kyle Richards, suggesting that sisters Kim Richards and Nicky Hilton would be happy if she died. During Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Erika made it extremely clear that this is a sensitive topic. “Don’t ever bring up killing my child again,” she lectured Eileen Davidson. “Because my child could get killed.” (Eileen was just trying to cite an example of an unforgivable act; she was in no way threatening Erika’s child but … she hit a nerve) When Eileen acknowledged that Erika was touchy on the subject because her adult son is a police officer, Erika was not satisfied. “Eileen, don’t ever bring up my kid again,” Erika demanded. “Eileen,” Erika continued. “Your kid doesn’t put on a uniform every night and put his life out on the line for people he doesn’t know.” Erika Girardi is a complicated person, but she has a tremendous amount of love for her son. (Of course she does) This was why this egregious tweet mentioned him. Trolls want to hurt you however they can. Why? Well, it makes them briefly feel powerful, and they usually don’t feel a great deal of strength or agency in their lives. They get their sick thrills by ruining someone else’s day. The more famous their victim, the better they feel about it. It sounds like Erika didn’t give them the satisfying online breakdown that they were craving. Good for her. Call them out, but don’t give them what they desire or you’ll be targeted by even more haters. Some people just really need a filter. On Friday, disgraced rapper R. Kelly was arrested on 10 charges of aggravates sexual abuse , 9 of which refer to the victim being a minor. Reports suggested that at least some of the charges may relate to a video that shows R. Kelly sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl. Now there’s a new video that’s longer … and even worse. TMZ reports that celebrity attorney Michael Avenatti, who obtained the earlier video for police, will turn over another on Monday. The first video was said to be just under 45 minutes. The new one, stored on VHS, is reportedly about 55 minutes in duration. The same 14-year-old girl from the previous video is reportedly featured in this one. The first video was reportedly filmed in 1999. This second one was filmed in 2000. Here are the gruesome details. Just as in the previous video, Kelly is said to be “coaching” the girl on the sexual performance that he wants from her. (Notably, this is consistent with horror stories shared by adult women, who said that he had bragged about training some of his women from young ages) Multiple times during the video, R. Kelly is said to be seen choking the girl while having anal intercourse. At another point, he is said to spray this girl in the face with some sort of lotion. He is said to then choke her again, mount her from behind, and turn her to face the camera for a “reaction shot.” As always, the details of R. Kelly’s alleged sexual predation, both upon underage girls and adult women, are haunting. Some may hesitate when seeing that these videos are older, but we have to note that Kelly was very much an adult man, in his thirties, in 1999 and in 2000. Prosecutors have to wade through a tremendous amount of filth in order to determine which charges apply. And these two videos are not the end of it. There is a third video that prosecutors do not yet have on their hands — but they hope to acquire it, soon. Michael Avenatti is said to be in the process of procuring a third tape. This tape is said to also show R. Kelly, but with a different girl — aged somewhere between 13 and 16 years. TMZ reports that Avenatti’s team has identiifed someone who is in possession of the video. He is working to acquire it so that he can hand it over to prosecutors. The first tape was given to Avenatti by his client, a man who knew and worked with Kelly for years. More than a decade ago, R. Kelly was acquitted of numerous charges stemming from an alleged collection of underage porn. In an infamous video, a man said to be Kelly urinated upon an underage girl. However, both Kelly and the young woman told the court that they were not the people in the video. For the 2008 jury, that was enough. Many are hopeful that the jury pool has a better understanding of how men use fame and wealth to get away with heinous acts thanks to #MeToo. And perhaps the docuseries, Surviving R. Kelly , has also helped. Either way, Kelly’s arrest was long overdue. And as disgusting as these tapes may be, the prosecution may need a mountain of evidence to counteract the kinds of attorneys that Kelly can afford. View Slideshow: R. Source: picture alliance / Getty 79-year-old Georgia Shoots At Suspect on 911 Call A suspected burglar who broke into the home of a gun-toting, 79-year-old Georgia woman got way more than he bargained for earlier this month when she starting shooting at him, according to Daily Mail UK. Police say Hans Rogers, 20, of Dallas, Georgia is the man who was nearly shot twice by an unidentified elderly woman after he allegedly broke into her home in rural Jackson County. They found Rogers hiding in an upstairs closet after his victim fired two shots at him as she stood in the kitchen of her home. He was later charged with felony home invasion and burglary. After over 10 months of hoping, fans got their wish: Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson have split . The final straw was when Tristan was caught with family friend Jordyn Woods. But it turns out that Tristan was seen stepping out with two different women days before he hooked up with Jordyn. We had already discussed reports that Tristan Thompson was flirting with fans last week, and even on Valentine’s Day itself. But aside from innuendo, we didn’t really know for sure that he’d pushed things further than that. But The Daily Mail reports that Tristan was seen taking two young women into a bedroom. The venue? A late-night singles’ party. The date? Valentine’s Day. Apparently, the 27-year-old NBA star partied with these two young women at a mansion in Los Angeles. As you may recall, he was in town — ostensibly to be closer to Khloe on Valentine’s Day. Clearly, that didn’t work out. According to a source at the party, all three “were drunk, holding hands, and giggling.” “And,” the insider continues. “They all went upstairs.” All told, they were apparently out of sight for 35 minutes. “One was Latina with brown hair,” the insider characterizes. “While the other,” the source describes. “Looked Middle Eastern.” “She resembled Khloe,” the insider says. “But had a different type of body.” (Note: Khloe is Armenian. The adult Kardashians are all white, though a number of Kris’ grandchildren are not) Now, this inside source did not follow Tristan to confirm what he and the two giggling women got up to. A guard was apparently posted at the bottom of the stairs to keep voyeurs and opportunistic photographers from interrupting any hook-ups. It would be really helpful if we had a timeline of precisely when Khloe and Tristan were really, truly done. This is not the only time that Tristan has been spotted with other women. In fact, it was reported that Khloe believes that Tristan cheated over the holidays. That would be consistent with some of the vagueposting that she has been up to over the past few months. To further confuse things, Khloe received a sizable red and pink rose floral arrangement as a Valentine’s Day gift from Tristan. Did he send her flowers and cheat on her on the same day? Was he just being polite and sending flowers to his baby mama? Or had he ordered the arrangement ages ago and not bothered to cancel it after Khloe dumped him? Maybe their breakup was in a gray area, like being on a “break,” but Tristan and Khloe had different ideas of what that meant. Those are all possibilities … but none of them explain why the entire Kardashian clan is turning their backs on Jordyn Woods. If Tristan was already cheating, and especially if he was already broken up with Khloe, why is Kylie BFF evicting Jordyn Woods from her home ? Tristan Thompson didn’t just cheat on Khloe left and right and then lead her on for the better part of a year. He tore apart a beautiful best friendship between Kylie and Jordyn that had endured longer than his ill-conceived romance with Khloe. (But hey, at least Khloe got adorable baby True out of the deal) That said, not all of this can be laid at Tristan’s feet. Without the Kardashians directly and explicitly addressing this scandal, it is difficult to understand why they’re so pissed at Jordyn. Is it just the principle of hooking up with an ex?
