Josh Duggar was indeed the subject of a police investigation regarding sexual molestation, a new report indicates, and it allegedly involved five girls. At least some of the victims were the 19 Kids & Counting star’s sisters. The story of a then-teenage Josh Duggar investigated for sexual abuse first broke earlier this week, but now more disturbing details have come out. According to TMZ, Josh was the alleged molester of five girls starting in 2002. Supposedly, his father Jim Bob turned him in , believing he had no choice. How would even Jim Bob find out, though? Well, now it makes sense … Josh allegedly fondled his own siblings ‘ genitals and breasts while the young girls were sleeping, and sometimes they were interacting with him. In one case, the sexual molestation took place while reading a book. It’s not clear if Josh was accused of molesting only Duggar girls or if non-family members were also involved in this alleged behavior pattern. There was another reported incident nine months later, and according to the police report, the police were not immediately contacted in that case. Jim Bob Duggar reportedly met with local church elders and agreed Josh should be put in a treatment program – this is according to the police report. In 2006, the Duggars were set to appear on Oprah , and before the show someone sent an email to her production company about Josh’s troubles. It is not known who exactly tipped off Oprah’s people or why. Oprah’s company, Harpo, forwarded the email to some sort of sexual abuse hotline, which triggered the Arkansas State police investigation of Josh. Jim Bob sought legal representation for Josh, who declined to be interviewed by police; the statute of limitations has long since expired by this point. As for the Duggars, one of them told the police at the time of the investigation that “this entire incident had brought the family closer to God.” Now 27, Josh is the eldest of the 19 Kids and Counting . Clearly they’re all standing by him now. The Duggars are closing ranks and refraining from any sort of comment now that this story has blown up. Kate Gosselin has been giving a lot of interviews lately, which means, of course, that she’s been trash-talking the father of her children like it’s her job (which we guess it sort of is). Today, Kate doubled-down on those comments, claiming that the main reason Jon sucks as a role model is that some of his kids never even see him! “Some of the kids visit, some don’t,” Kate said in an interview with E! News. “That’s for the best. There were many tears. Things that happened with my divorce were hurtful. I’m definitely a no-regrets kind of person. I’ve always done the best with what I had.” Gotta love that ability to take a question about the kids and make it all about her, right? 58-Year-Old Alabama Death Row Inmate Freed After Murder Conviction 28 Years Ago Via TheGuardian Anthony Ray Hinton, 58, spent half his life on Alabama’s death row, sentenced to die for two 1985 murders that for decades he insisted he did not commit. Over 28 years, the outside world changed while Hinton spent his days largely in a 5ft by 8ft prison cell. Children grew up. His mother died. His hair turned gray. Inmates he knew were escorted off to the electric chair or the lethal-injection gurney. He was set free on Friday after new ballistics tests contradicted the only evidence – an analysis of crime-scene bullets – that connected Hinton to the slayings. As he left the jail, Hinton said he would pray for the victims’ families as he has done for the past 30 years. They have suffered a “miscarriage of justice” as well, he said. He had less kind words for those involved in his conviction. “When you think you are high and mighty and you are above the law, you don’t have to answer to nobody. Stacey Dash Apologizes For Calling Rape Victims Naughty Girls Stacey Dash has learned the hard way that, when in doubt, leave the humor out. Via EOnline reports: The co-host of Fox News’ Outnumbered took to Facebook today to clarify the remarks she made last week on the show about “good girls” who would benefit from a ban on fraternity parties and the “bad girls” who may still go out and get hurt. Her comments came as the group debated the merits of the University of Virginia banning sorority members from attending fraternity parties as a precaution against sexual assault. “After a failed attempt at humor about ‘good girls’ and ‘naughty girls,’ during my recent appearance on Outnumbered, I transitioned to the very serious issue of men blaming alcohol for their vile behavior,” Dash’s Facebook post began. “LET ME BE CLEAR: I am a victim of physical and sexual abuse. My point was that there IS NO EXCUSE for a man taking advantage of women under any circumstances. I believe that these universities focusing on alcohol consumption as a means to stop evil behavior takes the focus off the real issue of the objectification of women and how that can be prevented. I apologize to anyone who believed I was blaming the victims of these horrible acts.” Calling UVA’s move “ridiculous,” Dash said last week: “I think it’s a good thing, for the good girls, to you know…Women, sorry, not to be told, ‘stay home, be safe.’ The other bad girls—bad women—or the ones who like to be naughty might go out and play and and get hurt.” “But the other thing about this is,” the Clueless star also said, “it then blames the alcohol instead of the person who overdrinks, so you know, it’s like, the same thing with guns. Pregnant Woman Killed En Route To Her Baby Shower Friends and family of five people (and an unborn baby) killed in a devastating Maryland car crash over the weekend are currently reeling. 30-year-old Zarissa Ayres (above) died while en route to her baby shower alongside her sister, her sister’s boyfriend, her 4-month-old nephew and her 7-year-old niece when her car collided with a tractor-trailer. DelMarva Now reports: Friends and acquaintances of an Accomack County family killed in a crash in Maryland during the weekend returned to school and work Monday still trying to fathom the loss. They also have started a fund to help the remaining family members with the expense of holding multiple funerals in the upcoming days. The five victims, one of whom was pregnant, were on their way to her baby shower when their car collided with a tractor-trailer at a signaled intersection in Wye Mills, Maryland. Geneva Pope of Baltimore had been friends with the pregnant victim, Zarissa Ayres, 30, for around six years. She met Ayres, who worked until August at a mental health rehabilitation services business headquartered in McLean, Virginia, when the Eastern Shore of Virginia native was living and working in the area. On Monday, Pope started an online fundraiser for the victims’ funeral expenses. On Tuesday, she still found it difficult to speak of the loss through her tears. “It’s costly. I can’t imagine how they’ll struggle with paying for five funerals,” Pope said. Also killed in the crash were Zarissa Ayres’ sister, Regina M. Ayres, 24, of Greenbush; Regina’s boyfriend, Travis M. Stratton, 25, of Onancock; their 4-month-old son, Jonathan Ayres; and Regina’s daughter, Jordan Ayres, 7. This story is so incredibly sad. In the course of these learning sessions and travel, Bill allegedly made multiple passes at the 17-year-old, which she claims to have been uncomfortable with and initially fought off: Barbara said there were times she’d push him away, but then she’d give in. It was Reno, Nevada. 1986. Cosby’s hotel suite was darkened. ‘He turned out all the lights. It was completely pitch black. He laid me down on the couch and started caressing and touching me all over. Then he put my hand on his penis, covering it with his hand. He had me masturbate him. I couldn’t see what was going on. When it was over, I ran out of the room and threw up. ‘It was so invasive and frightening and humiliating. There was no way I could tell my mother. I couldn’t even admit it to myself.
