Daughter Reacts to Parents’ Baby News: I Can’t Thank You Enough!

A father and a mother gave their two kids the best Easter present ever last week. In the following video, we see a little girl and young boy open up a fake egg and see what we presume to be their mother’s Ultrasound picture inside. They don’t put it together right away, but once the daughter learns she’s gonna have a baby brother or sister, she shrieks in delights… hugs her mom tightly… and then adorably tells her parents she “can’t thank them enough” for procreating again. The boy, meanwhile? Eh, he could take this news or leave it. But, hey, at least he isn’t screaming in anger : Kids React to Baby News In a similarly awesome video we posted last month, an 11-year old cried tears of joy upon learning he’ll be an older sibling. Chris Brown Legal Drama Explained: Assault Cases, Probation Violations, Con Air & More

Chris Brown’s legal predicaments have gotten so confusing that they require a lengthy explanation to fully understand at this point. So here we go: Chris Brown Jailed Until at Least June After Trial Delay Brown has been on probation since accepting a plea deal in the 2009 attack on his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. That probation is set to end later this year. He was arrested last fall for assault in D.C. Because his probation requires him to obey all laws, a judge revoked his probation in the Rihanna case. However, after Chris pleaded not guilty to the D.C. attack on Parker Adams, a judge allowed him to seek treatment rather than sit in jail awaiting trial. He was kicked out of rehab and jailed in March, though, after violating the rules of the anger management rehab center he was assigned to by the court. In addition to its own legal ramifications, the D.C. case could lead to major penalties – potentially YEARS in prison – in the probation violation case. Ensnared in this tangled legal web, Brown has been shuttled from L.A. to D.C. via Con Air and now is heading back again in the custody of federal officers. The D.C. trial has been delayed because of the singer’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy , a key witness who was just convicted in the same incident. Hollosy says unless he is granted immunity, he will not testify in Brown’s case until he has exhausted the appeals process, which could take six months to a year. Hollosy had been widely expected to take the fall for his boss, accepting responsibility for attacking Adams, but this new delay might suggest otherwise. 23 Pics of Chris Brown Thuggin’ It! Chris Brown Topless Chris Brown likes to blow his top. Or perform without one in this case. D.C. Superior Court Judge A. Franklin Burgess Jr. set a status hearing for the Chris Brown assault case for June 25, the same day as Hollosy’s sentencing. Until then, he will remain behind bars. L.A. Judge Victor Greenberg denied the request of Brown lawyer Mark Geragos to release him with the trial pending. Come June, he’ll be transported back to D.C. on Con Air again. Such is life for detainees who face criminal charges in two different U.S. jurisdictions. “I’m quite sure that Chris Brown would actually love not to be transferred via U.S. Marshal Service,” says Darren Kavinoky, an L.A.-based criminal defense lawyer. “I’m sure he’d much rather fly under his own power, via private jet, or even on a commercial flight in coach for that matter,” he adds … but that’s a no-go. Transporting prisoners via the Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System (better known by the nickname “Con Air”) is actually quite commonplace. JPATS transfers more than 350,000 prisoners and illegal aliens a year. The jets are owned or leased by the government and funded by the taxpayers. Kavinoky continues , “Since he’s in custody, this is standard operating procedure. It’s a common occurrence also with witnesses [for] cases other than their own.” In other words, Brown is not getting any special treatment here. Kavinoky adds, “This is not any sort of special celebrity treatment situation. Actually, I’d say that what’s happening here is the anti-celebrity treatment.” “Chris [is] getting a worse deal because the judge knows that the eyes of the world are upon him. I think Chris is in a worse situation because he’s Chris Brown.” Sounds like something Ne-Yo would agree with … Ne-Yo Defends Chris Brown

In White Folks News: ‘Young & The Restless’ Veteran Puts Young Co-Star In Check For Lying About Getting Him Fired

“Don’t throw rocks at the throne…” Eric Braden Shoots Down Rumors He Got Michael Muhney Fired “Young & The Restless” soap opera star Michael Muhney shocked viewers and fans when he took to his Twitter towards the end of 2013 to confirm that he’d been fired from the show. Muhney, who played Adam Newman during his 5-year stint on the show, has since been making his media rounds and suggesting that his veteran co-star Eric Braden aka “Victor Newman” was partly to blame for his holiday pink-slip. Papa Newman initially remained silent as his on-screen son continued with the allegations, but he’s now spoken out to Radar Online to shut down his on-screen youngin.’ via Radar Online The cast and crew of hit soap The Young & The Restless are in turmoil, in the wake of star Michael Muhney being fired for allegedly groping the breasts of his costar Hunter King multiple times. Now, in an unprecedented move, veteran actor Eric Braeden — best known for his role as Victor Newman on the soap since 1980 — has come forward exclusively to RadarOnline.com in a bid to set the record straight about rumors that he played a role in the termination of Muhney, 38. RadarOnline.com: Sources have told Radar that your relationship with Michael Muhney was contentious at times. Why was it? Eric Braeden: I welcomed Michael Muhney when he came here. He is a great actor. We did have our differences, but for anyone to say that I had him fired is a lie. I have always thought he was a very good actor and told him so. Towards the end, Muhney and I did have our differences and had a shouting match, no question. During that shouting match, all kinds of things were said. I won’t go into detail about it. I don’t remember the specifics of who said what but what I do recall is that I was prompted to get into ‘fisticuffs’ with him because he wanted me off the show, if you want to know the truth. That is about as far as I will go. That is it. It was a campaign to get me off the show. It was Muhney who wanted to get me off the show and he expressed that to various people. Radar: Why did he want you off the show? EB: He wanted me off the show because he wanted to be head honcho. In his words, I was the old lion and he was the young lion. I welcomed that guy, as I said. (I told him), ‘You are very good at what you do, keep your nose clean and stay out of everyone else’s business and just do your job.’ Radar: Was Michael Muhney his own worst enemy? EB: Yes, of course. He has no one else to blame but himself and he said as much when he left… to several people and I respect that he did that. He apologized for his ambition and his desire to become the guy, the young lion, pushing away the old lion. The last day he was here, he apologized to me, you bet. Radar: What did you think about Michael’s comments to the Huffington Post? EB: He is a very good actor and should keep his mouth shut. I don’t need to listen to the drivel that comes out of that person’s mouth. If there are any truth as to the allegations that got him fired, then this dude dug his own grave. From the sounds of things, “Adam Newman” is just as much of a mess in real life as he was on the show!  You can check out the full interview with Eric Braden HERE . Continue reading

My name is Ravynne and I am on the left of Justin in my picture….

My name is Ravynne and I am on the left of Justin in my picture. In February 2013, I was surprised with Believe Tour tickets for June 24th by my mentor!  I was so excited and June could not come any slower. I decided to invite my best friend, Crystal, who is on the left, and is also a belieber. The week before the concert, my mentor told me that my tickets also included the meet and greet! I was so excited and I couldn’t wait any longer. Then June 24th finally came and we went to the Staples Center early just in case anything happened. We waited in the meet and greet line for about two hours and just before we entered the entrance to the backstage where Justin was, one of the security guards grabbed my wrist and asked, “Where did you get these from? These are fake!” I thought she was kidding so I was like, “Oh my mentor got them from me.” I was laughing and grinning and not really listening to her because come on, I was about to meet Justin! She then cut off my meet and greet wristband and pushed us aside! I was so heartbroken, I didn’t know what to do! I then went to my seat and e-mailed my mentor asking if there a way to prove that my wristbands were real. On the way home I received an e-mail back from my mentor that said that there was a huge mix up and that Scooter Braun would like to have us back as guests tomorrow! I COULDN’T BELIEVE MY EYES! We woke up the next day and got to the Staples Center early again, but only this time things happened differently. Melissa Victor called me and asked where my friend and I were so that she can come and get us! She came and took us backstage where we saw Dan Kanter and we had a nice conversation with Melissa. Then it all happened. Justin was behind a black curtain and I was so close to finally meeting him. I walked in and there he was! He looked like an angel and I was so starstruck. He put his hand around my waist and we took the picture. He then said, “Thank you so much for coming,” and rubbed my arm. It was time for us to go to our seats and I was the happiest girl in the world. The concert was amazing and I was watching it as though I never saw it before about 24 hours prior. I would have never even imagined going to one of Justin’s concerts, let alone meeting him a year ago. This experience has taught me to never say never and to believe because everything is possible! I love you Justin! Read the rest here: My name is Ravynne and I am on the left of Justin in my picture….

Pain and Gain Review: A Roided-Out Crime Movie

Pain and Gain is like if a Coen Brothers movie and a Scorsese movie had a baby and that baby disappointed its parents and went into porn. At its core, the film is about a trio of hapless men just trying to get ahead in life, but who end up getting in way over their heads. The difference between Pain and Gain and every Coen Brothers movie with that premise is that Michael Bay’s hapless men aren’t timid and pathetic. They’re not looking for recompense or justice. They’re just greedy meatheads. Mark Wahlberg stars as Daniel Lugo, a bodybuilder not satisfied with his decent job doing literally the only thing he knows how to do: personal training. When a rich sandwich magnate named Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub) who’s less of an “asshole,” as Lugo describes him, and more of an annoying weirdo, becomes his client, he decides to twist the advice of a hack motivational speaker played by Ken Jeong ( The Hangover Part III ), and extort him for all he’s worth. To help him, Lugo enlists fellow bodybuilders Adrian Doorbal, played by Anthony Mackie, and ex-con Paul Doyle, played by Dwayne Johnson. As you would expect, the three have no clue what they’re doing, and after a series of failed attempts thought up on the fly, they finally capture Kershaw. The only problem? He won’t sign away all of his material possessions willingly. What follows is a frenetic mess of half-baked ideas to make their plan happen. It’s at times hilarious, and at times truly terrifying in its misguided, unnecessary violence. Bay is the most unapologetically showy director working today. His films are notoriously devoid of character development and plot, and Pain and Gain is really no different. Everything is surface. Characters straight up say what they’re thinking to each other. Voiceovers are given to every major player, in a way that is much less charming and plot-serving than in Casino or Goodfellas . Scenes freeze and captions are thrown up reminding us that yes, this is a true story. The color pallet is bright and saturated. Nothing much remains unseen. And American flags litter the frame. We get it, American dream, yadda yadda. With all its brazenness, though, Pain and Gain actually works. Bay’s style of roided-out Hollywood blatancy fits the story, and given that Bay began in the 90s and has seemed to long for them ever since, he seems comfortable making a movie set in that decade. Pain and Gain would be hard to truly love as a film, though. Not because its characters are idiots, or because their motivations are extremely under-defined (when did that drug addiction come back?? Meh, who cares), but the film, like most of Bay’s works, seems entirely built to make a cool trailer. Trailers are flashy. They say very little. They’re meant to draw you to the theater. But once you’re there, you’re supposed to get more. Well, with Pain and Gain , you don’t get more. In fact, if you’ve seen the trailers, you could probably show up an hour late to the film and know everything the audience knows. That’s a problem. RATING: 2.5/5
