On a family trip to a farm, Max and mutt Duke (Eric Stonestreet) encounter canine-intolerant cows, hostile foxes and a terrifying turkey, all of which only elevates Max’s anxiety. Luckily, Max gets some guidance from veteran farm dog Rooster (Harrison Ford, making his animated-film debut), who pushes Max to ditch his neuroses, find his inner alpha, and give Liam a little more freedom. Meanwhile, while her owner is away, plucky Pomeranian Gidget (Jenny Slate) tries to rescue Max’s favorite toy from a cat-packed apartment with a little help from her feline friend, Chloe (Lake Bell), who has discovered the joys of catnip. The Talk Hosts Discuss Wendy Williams Divorce Wendy Williams’ divorce news was a huge topic of discussion for so many people, and the hosts of CBS “The Talk” definitely had things to say. “I think if everything that’s alleged is true, it’s about damn time. And we are very happy. And we all want to love and support her, but you can’t support someone that is in denial… everything is not fine,” Sheryl Underwood says. “Wendy can now live her true, best life. She is free. I hope that this changes her spirit, that instead of downing people, she’s gonna uplift people, especially women.” Eve adds, “This is part of her road to recovery, and I’m so happy that she is now getting out of it. There were reports that he was also abusive to her… but this is going to help other women as well…” Sharon Osbourne shares, “You can only back someone if it’s their decision…And hope he doesn’t take half the kingdom.” Sara Gilbert says, “I think this is probably one of those circumstances where you want something because you have no other choice at some point, right? But if your husband really has a mistress and there is a baby, it forces your hand… We wish her the best.” They all raised some great points. Star Wars Episode IX Title, Teaser Trailer Revealed!

It's really happening!! Star Wars Celebration introduced fans to the cast, both new and old, of Star Wars Episode IX , which premieres this December. Then the lights dimmed, and the world saw a teaser trailer — and learned the very exciting title of the newest installment in the Star Wars saga. PLEASE take note: this post contains spoilers for the teaser trailer for Star Wars Episode IX . The teaser opens with darkness and heavy breaths. It's Rey, standing in a desert while wearing white and visibly steeling herself. Echoes of Luke Skywalker's voice can be heard. “We've passed on all we know,” Luke says, while the camera pans to Rey's lightsaber — one that she must have built herself. “A thousand generations live in you, now,” Luke's voiceover says as Rey draws her weapon. In the distance on the planet, the distinctive buzz of TIE fighter type vehicles can be heard. “But this is your fight,” Luke's voice says with encouragement as Rey braces for what is coming. As the First Order vehicle races along the sand-covered terrain towards Rey, she runs, only to do a massive backflip. She ignites her lightsaber's blue (that's significant!) blade, and flips through the air. It's clear that the First Order pilot is in for a rude awakening. Viewers are then treated to a series of shots of planet surfaces, ships, and familiar faces. Notably, Kylo Ren, his faulty red lightsaber in hand, subdues an unknown opponent who appears to be wielding a crude melee weapon. In the background, a First Order trooper appears to be participating in the fight. We also see a repaired and modified version of Kylo's infamous mask, now laced with red. He does not appear to be wearing it during any of the trailer's scenes, however. Lando Calrissian makes his cinematic return, piloting the Millennium Falcon. Most emotionally evocative of all, we see scenes of General Leia Organa, portrayed by the late, great Carrie Fisher. As promised, these are not motion capture scenes, but made from unused footage from the first two films. Watching these powerful scenes in theaters is going to exact an emotional toll upon us all. “We will always be with you,” Luke's voice promises. Then, as Rey and her companions — including Finn and Poe — look out upon what may be the remains of the second Death Star, Luke makes another promise. “No one is ever really gone,” he assures Rey, acknowledging that those closely connected to the Force can endure beyond physical death. This is when the most surprising moment of the teaser occurs. Viewers hear wonderful, terrible laughter — distinctively belonging to the best character in all of Star Wars canon: Palpatine. Finally, the trailer reveals the film's title: Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker . At Star Wars Celebration, after the lights came back on, the audience exclaimed with joy — because there was a new actor on stage. That actor was Ian McDiarmind — who plays Emperor Sheev Palpatine, also known as Darth Sidious. (Everyone has their preferences, but he plays one of the most iconic and best-conceived characters in all of fiction) Plenty of people's eyes (mine included) teared up with joy at this stunning surprise. Obviously, fans have so many questions. Who is the “Skywalker” mentioned in the title? Is Kylo Ren going to foresake the Dark Side and claim his birthright as a descendant of Anakin? Or is Rey secretly, somehow descended from the Skywalker lineage, despite what appeared to be clear denials. And speaking of Rey, where did she find the kyber crystal that powers her new lightsaber? How much time has passed in the story since the end of the controversial The Last Jedi ? What role will Palpatine play in the film? Will his return, engineered through technology or perhaps Sith sorcery, make him the final villain? For that … we'll have to wait for the premiere this December.

Stop-motion animation was once thought to be a dying genre, but Laika studios new film Missing Link is breathing new life into the film style. Missing Link tells the story of Sir Lionel Frost, “who sets off on an adventure to the Pacific Northwest to prove the existence of a legendary creature—Mr. Link. Frost, who’s also looking to gain acceptance by his small-minded explorer peers, is accompanied on his journey by Adelina Fortnight, a free-spirited, independent adventurer who just so happens to possess the only known map to their secret destination of trying to find Link.” Zach Galifianakis stars as Mr. Link, the Bigfoot Sasquatch in search of his relatives and Zoe Saldana voices Adelina Fortnight, the free-spirited traveler who, along with Sir Lionel Frost, helps Mr. Link find his people. On this episode of Extra Butter, I spoke with the Zach and Zoe about some of the underlying themes of the film, including acceptance, fitting in, and being told to “stick with your own kind.” Is it best to stick with your own, or can you grow from experiencing other people and different things? Zach told us: I think [experiencing other people and things] is the best way to go about it. We’re supposed to be living here with each other. We’re all from different walks of life. One should never feel like one is better than the other. In North Carolina, there was a cabin that was built eons ago, and the reason it’s still erecting is because the Germans and the Brits worked on it together. When different ideas come and work together, it’s mathematical. It’s only better. Zoe added: I think you have to [stick with your own] for a certain amount of time, in order for you to learn about your heritage, your history, who you were — even those before you, who they were. But as soon as that happens, to journey outside of your comfort zones is crucial in order for you to grow knowledge, experience. But also to gain compassion about everything that is different outside of yourself, because you have to nurture curiosity.   Some may be surprised to find out that someone as beautiful as Ms. Saldana use to have a problem fitting in. I feel like school was the most difficult time in my life. Having to go back to the same place that causes so much stress in you because of the projections. Everybody is just projecting. And kids tend to be really mean through their innocence. The lack of knowledge and the lack of experience sometimes compels you to be a really heartless person.  Fortunately, the actress never let the childhood drama stop her from becoming a box office phenom. Scarlett Johansson is one of those celebrities that was famous before the internet, so she’s not out there relentlessly producing content to shove down our throats, so we virtually forget she exists, until she has a shitty movie to promote, than she is everywhere. It is probably a good tactic, because we don’t have to experience her demise on a daily basis, that can negatively effect a woman, but watching her rot out daily on social media would make seeing her expired far less shocking, you know like watching a pot of water boil, shit is gradual…. With her tactic, it’s like “fuck she used to be Scarlett Johansson”….and now she’s “Old Scarlett Johansson”…. I remember when she first appeared on the scene, I remember when the studios decided she was the next big thing, I remember when I saw she had 10 movies on IMDB in production before she even went officially mainstream and I knew she was dialled in somewhere with someone who wanted her to win….and she won… This is her now….pretty depressing how life plays out for all of us. Looking at her is a reminder of our own mortality. No longer 20 with the world ahead of us, now older with our failures or in her case her wins behind us…. Joseph Duggar and Kendra Duggar have some exciting news to share. Even more exciting than the couple finally signing on to Instagram . And that news is this… … the famous couple is expecting another child!!!!!!! The twosome confirmed this blessed development in an interview with Us Weekly, telling the tabloid in crazy excitement: “We are ready to double the fun at our house! “Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined. “We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone. “We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year. Children really are a blessing from God!” Kendra and Joe learned this first hand about 10 months ago when they welcomed their first kid, a son named Garrett. No word yet on exactly when Kendra is due or whether she will find out what gender is growing inside her womb, but we’ll be sure to let readers know if the information ever comes out. For the record, Kendra and Joe did learn they were expecting a boy the first time around — so fans may soon be fortunate enough to find out again in this case. This is what they said to Us Weekly upon making that gender announcement: “Wow! We are so happy to learn that our firstborn is a boy! “Our minds are already racing toward all the future memories to be made with this little guy! Most of all, we are already asking God to bless him and help us grow him into a loving and faithful follower of Christ!” Joseph and Kendra got married in 2017. In a video message on their family’s official website, Joe and Kendra were joined by their 10-month-old son, as the father-to-be said the following to his supporters: I was really excited, she really surprised me good this time. Source: Robert Kamau / Getty Talk Show Host To End Marriage After Husband’s Mistress Gave Birth Wendy Williams is reportedly “distraught” after filing for divorce from her longtime business partner and husband, Kevin Hunter, a source with direct knowledge of the situation told BOSSIP. The embattled talk show host has served her husband with divorce papers, according to a report from the New York Post. “She’s having a difficult time, but feels that this is a necessary step to take for her own health,” our source said. “Her concern is for her 19-year-old son.” But one unlikely ally for her has been actress Tasha Smith. We’re told Smith – who has known Williams for years and was a guest on her show a few weeks ago – has been a big supporter during the breakup. Smith went through her own nasty divorce from her manager Keith Douglas back in 2015. “Tasha has been her shoulder to cry on,” the source said. “She’s told her, ‘I’ve been through this.’” Source: Ray Tamarra / Getty We’re told that in the last few weeks, Williams oscillated from wanting to split and trying to work things out. But she ultimately decided to end the marriage for good. The source said that Williams is still grappling with staying sober, and now blames Hunter’s behavior for her overreliance on booze. Although we’ve previously reported that Hunter has threatened to take half of her earnings if she leaves him, she believes his behavior toward is enough to turn her case in her favor, according to the source. “She’s got enough against him that she shouldn’t have to give him a dime,” the source said. Hunter is keeping a low profile, we’re told, and is still in a relationship with Sharina Hudson , who allegedly gave birth to his baby last month. Meanwhile, Williams’ show spokesperson told us that it will go on. “Wendy and her family have been a part of Debmar-Mercury for over 10 years,” Williams’ rep said in a statement. “We respect their privacy regarding personal matters. As always, we remain committed to bringing an entertaining and topical show to our viewers.”
