Source: Sutad Watthanakul / EyeEm / Getty Victim’s Sons Beat Up Convicted Killer A video’s gone viral of two sons beating up the man who killed their mother. On Thursday the sentencing hearing for a man convicted of killing an Ohio woman erupted in chaos when the victim’s two sons attacked the handcuffed defendant, Dale Williams, inside the courtroom. Williams, 62, was on hand for sentencing for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Pledger Stewart, 46. While Pledger Stewart’s daughter was giving her victim impact statement, however, the woman’s two sons attacked the convicted killer. Both men managed to get to Williams and punched him before being detained. “He killed my mother, man,” said one of the sons. “That was my mama! She took care of me, bro, when nobody else did.” WKBN reports that Williams admitted to killing Pledger Stewart after waiting for her for more than 45 minutes for her to drive by him on her way to work so he could cut her off and shoot her. Both sons will spend 30 days in jail for contempt of court. Seems like it was worth it to us.
Beth Chapman, reality star and wife of Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, passed away last month after battling cancer. And if you know anything about Dog’s relationship with Beth, you know that it was an absolutely devastating loss. Beth passed away on June 26th after originally being diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017. A few days later, friends and family had a memorial service in Hawaii , and Dog explained that they’d have another in Colorado at a later date — they called both states home. Yesterday, everyone gathered again in Colorado, and again, the service was open to anyone and everyone who wanted to pay tribute to Beth. That’s how we know all the unbelievably heartbreaking things he said in his speech there. For example, at one point in his remarks, he said “I cannot believe believe that she’s gone. This is not possible, I want to wake up from a dream.” “In the ’70s, I did 18 months in the Texas penitentiary and I told God yesterday I’d do five years, ten years day to day just to kiss her again. I never felt like this.” At another point, he told the people in attendance “She will never be dead to me. She is in another place.” “I’m gonna get to heaven and make her so proud,” he added. “she’s gonna say it like she said here, ‘That’s my man right there, that’s big daddy right there.'” Dog’s speech, which lasted for nearly 30 minutes, also touched on what happened after Beth’s diagnosis . “She’d gotten sick,” he recalled, “they told her she got cancer. they said she could do chemo though, they said she would have to sit at home while Dog films the show.” The show he’s referring to is Dog’s Most Wanted, which hasn’t begun airing yet but which did feature Beth’s failing health . “The show did not kill her but she died for it,” Dog explained. “She said, ‘Do you think I’m going to let you go out by yourself and film this TV show? You’re out of your mind.'” He said that he told her that she “might have to do chemo and stuff, but she replied with “All it’ll do is keep me alive six months longer and I’m not going to do that because I want to be by your side.” And while they were filming, “She would tell these guys on the show, “You’re trying to die doing these drugs and I’m trying to live.’ Those guys started bawling and crying.” Speaking of bawling and crying, Dog took some time to speak on one of the last conversations he had with his wife. “She said, ‘Please big daddy, please let me go,'” he remembered. “I said, ‘No, I can’t. I’m not gonna let you go.'” “I still haven’t let her go,” he admitted. Later, he said something similar with “If there’s a God, he won’t let me live that long without her.” Dog also felt the need to give some advice. “If you’re beefin’ with your old lady,” he told everyone, “stop and kiss her right now. Because you’re gonna feel so bad when he or her are not with you anymore.” “It is one of the worst feelings a man or woman could ever have, I’m telling you,” he insisted. “I’ve never felt this bad. I’m sad. I didn’t want to do a celebration of life because I’m sad. I miss her so much.” We hope he manages to find some comfort soon. The whole ordeal began when Kensli Taylor Davis’ mother called a Dairy Queen and asked for a Moana -themed cake. A manager at the store who took the order misheard the request and thought she said “marijuana.” When Davis’ mother went to go pick up the cake, she received one that featured a picture of a marijuana plant as well as an extremely high My Little Pony. It was supposed to be a Moana cake, but a young woman instead received a birthday cake featuring marijuana and a “My Little Pony”-themed character smoking marijuana. https://t.co/tvUyWlyiak pic.twitter.com/ob0kZKP9ku — ABC 7 News – WJLA (@ABC7News) July 10, 2019 “I think they thought that she said ‘marijuana’ because we are from south Georgia and kind of have an accent. So they’ve got a point there–but you’d think the employee would clarify once or twice what the customer wants the theme of their cake to be. Anyway…. Kensli posted about the encounter on her Facebook page in good spirits, writing in her caption: “I haven’t had a chance to tell y’all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake. So my mama called and ordered me a cake telling them how much I loved Moana. (Because really I do) Well needless to say these people thought she said marijuana That ice cream cake was still good though ” Cassandra Walker, the Dairy Queen employee who made the cake, opened up about the incident to USA Today after being fired. “This is back-to-school time. I have two little girls here,” explained Walker, who worked at Dairy Queen for around a year. “I have a car that needs fixing. It’s not funny to me.” She also says she made the cake with the approval of her manager. “The manager stood behind me while I pulled the images off the internet. She walked by as I decorated the cake. As I boxed the cake up, she was the one who walked it up to the front.” “This was a simple misunderstanding from the beginning,” Al Autry, one of the owners of the Dairy Queen, said in a statement given to USA Today . “Our cake decorator designed a cake based on what she thought she heard the customer order. When the customer picked it up and said it was not what she ordered, we immediately apologized for the error and offered to redesign it the way she originally intended. The customer said it was fine, paid for the cake and left.” Walker was eventually offered her job back, but says it was Autry who fired her in the first place. She declined the offer.

Not too many people can pull of crude, slapstick comedy quite like Adam Sandler — just add Jennifer Aniston to the mix and you’ve got yourself the perfect comedy flick. Last time the dynamic duo teamed up was back in 2011 with the now cult classic Just Go With It . But the hilarious pair have join forces once again for Murder Mystery . The Netflix original film tells the story of a New York cop and his wife who go on a European vacation to reinvigorate the spark in their marriage, but end up getting framed and go on the run for the death of an elderly billionaire. And needless to say, the film was clever and funny AF — all one hour and 37 minutes of it. I caught with Adam and Jennifer and they dished on murder mysteries, Saturday Night Live, and of course, Friends. When asked about his favorite Friends episode, the Happy Madison Productions founder said: “The one where Rachel spills hot coffee on herself. That was the best one. Come on, do it again!” As for Jennifer’s favorite SNL skit starring Sandler, she quickly answered: “Oh I love Opera Man! Love it. It’s rare that a week goes by without Jessa Duggar getting mom-shamed for some behavior or belief that her Instagram followers don’t agree with. But it’s just as rare for Jessa to take this much flak in the span of just a few days. Earlier this week, Jessa was criticized for denying her daughter a pacifier. Many of her followers felt that this was an unnecessarily cruel restriction which did not serve to benefit the child in any way. Yes, it’s only been 8 weeks since Jessa welcomed her third child , and that’s the sort of backlash she’s forced to contend with already. We suppose it’s not hard to see why she’s not taking it lying down. “I always nurse my babies on demand, so she has constant access to the ‘pacifier’ God designed,” Jessa responded when a follower asked why she’s so opposed to pacifiers. “I am her pacifier,” Jessa added. “I prefer it that way too … Nursing isn’t only for food, but for comfort and Mama’s closeness.” Eh … not all that wacky an explanation by Duggar standards, and “God’s pacifiers” is a hilarious way to refer to boobs, so we’ll allow it. Besides, we have new and equally weird Jessa parenting controversies to move on to. As you may know, the Duggars are very, very big on disciplining their children. And this means not only are the kids punished at a young age (sometimes with such controversial techniques as ” blanket training “), they also start helping out around the house at a very young age. Which explains why Jessa’s eldest — 3-year-old Spurgeon — is already working a vacuum cleaner: Spurgeon Seewald Does Chores The Duggars have taken flak for their perceived unwillingness to let kids be kids, which may explain why Jessa decided to get in front of that criticism by posting a lengthy explanation for the video above: “There’s a window of time in the toddler years where little ones become eager to help,” she wrote. “It’s so sweet to watch their excitement as they are allowed to take part in meaningful tasks— not pretend ‘helping,’ but really doing something that helps out the whole family,” she added. “Playing together is fun, but even the cleanup can be fun if we do it together. There’s a sense of importance and belonging and being needed.” Jessa went on to explain that she doesn’t encourage her kids to help because it saves her time in effort — in fact, she claims the reverse is true: “Sometimes as a mom I have to pause and remember this,” she stated. “Yes, it may take 5x longer than if I did it myself, but they find it exciting to help out and lend a hand,” Jessa continued. “We definitely need to encourage this and not squelch the excitement. “My mom modeled this beautifully. ‘There’s a window of time where they’re eager to help. Capture it. Don’t squelch it.’” Must be quite an honor for Michelle Duggar to receive such a loving tribute from her daughter. Of course, Michelle was such a strict disciplinarian that it’s possible Jessa is still afraid of her!
