Because he kissed up to The Donald, the future for Billy Bush is all but over at The Today Show. According to both The Hollywood Reporter and The Los Angeles Times, the embattled anchor is negotiating his way off the morning program. It is expected that he will leave under what both sides will likely deem some kind of “mutual” arrangement, with a buyout involved and Bush avoiding the fate of actually being fired. But his departure comes as no surprise. Bush has been in the center of the news for all the wrong reasons for several days now. On Friday afternoon, The Washington Post released a video from 2005. It featured Bush and Donald Trump laughing about the latter’s sexual exploits with women, as Bush egged Trump on and found his description of how he just grabs a female by the genitals whenever he feels like it to be hilarious. Totally cool and awesome and hilarious. The stars were aboard an Access Hollywood bus, on the way to the set of Days of Our Lives, when Bush spotted Arianne Zucker. “Sheesh, your girl’s hot as sh-t. In the purple. Yes! The Donald has scored,” Bush said like an absolute moron upon seeing Zucker, with whom Trump was to film a cameo. I’m very sorry.” As far as apologies go, it’s a solid one. It’s simple, contrite and to the point. But it also appears to be a case of way too little, way too late. According to The Los Angeles Times, female producers and personalities on The Today Show made it known since this news broke that they don’t want to work with Bush. A previous report had said Bush wasn’t very popular on set even before this video went public. With Today locked in an ongoing ratings battle with Good Morning America, the program cannot afford this kind of publicity. It also cannot afford guests canceling an appearance with Bush and heading over to GMA instead. Bush only joined NBC News in August as co-host of the show’s third hour, alongside Al Roker and Tamron Hall; it didn’t help his cause that Bush was so new to the series. “He doesn’t have enough time there to warrant anyone of substance going out of their way to help him,” said a Times insider. It’s also worth noting that females represent 68% of the audience in this third hour. So it’s pretty easy math and logic. It’s not hard to see why producers saw no way to move forward with Bush. The annoying host has allegedly been distraught ever since the video emerged last week, but he’ll probably end up with a big six or even seven-figure buyout check after all is said and done. So life could be worse for Billy Bush. It also helps a little that the other men on this scandalous video is running to be President of the United States. Donald Trump has sucked up most of the negative attention, similar to how Bush is sucking up to him in the video. Both of these guys suck, pretty much. Shia LaBeouf has reportedly gotten married. In the most Shia LaBeouf way possible. According to TMZ insiders, the actor exchanged vows over the weekend with Mia Goth. In Las Vegas. With Elvis Presley officiating the wedding. The couple got hitched at an establishment called Viva Las Vegas, which a chapel known for uniquely-themed weddings. Some of the options on the venue’s so-called menu, for example, include Elvis and Alice Cooper packages. There are also generic gangster and gladiator themes. Because who would not want to be all gangster, literally, when getting married? But anyway. Back to Shia and Mia: TMZ reports that t hey chose a combination Elvis and Hawaiian theme, Mia even riding to her big day alongside an Elvis impersonator in a pink Cadillac. Locals supposedly broke up the fight and drove LaBeouf to the airport, where he went on record as saying he would have killed Goth if he had stayed. The last season of Teen Mom 2 was a rough one for Javi Marroquin, to say the least. He was deployed to Qatar for six months, and he definitely felt a lot of emotions about it. He cried about it more than once, and about how much he would miss his son with Kailyn, Lincoln, and Kailyn’s older son with Jo Rivera, Isaac. After he left, his relationship with Kailyn quickly deteriorated , and she ended up filing for divorce while he was still overseas. (Feel free to take a moment to shake your head and say “Poor Javi …”, because it’s definitely appropriate here.) But if all that drama was packed into the last season of Teen Mom 2, imagine how much will be in the upcoming season! That’s what Javi discussed in this new interview with OK! magazine. “This season is a rough one,” he said. “It’s definitely one that’s … me and Kail have a lot going on, obviously, everyone knows that, so this season really shows that and shows my life overseas and her taking care of the home life and then me coming home and adjusting to that.” “There is a lot to see. It will be a good one.” It’s worth noting that the last season ended with Javi and Kailyn fighting constantly in FaceTime conversations, and while they definitely hinted at divorce, they didn’t really definitively decide on it. Javi also had a good while left in his deployment, so the next season would show that, along, presumably, with the actual decision to end the marriage. So yeah, we imagine it will be a good one. About the odd circumstances of the divorce, Javi explained that “We FaceTimed regularly, and that’s when everything kind of started unraveling.” For filming purposes, he said “It was kind of hard to tell my side of the story over a phone, but they tried their best and I told my side as best as I can.” Javi also touched on the habit of Teen Mom stars blaming the show for their bad behavior — you know, the classic “they edited the footage to make me look bad!” defense. “I wouldn’t say I’ve been edited unfairly,” he said. “This new season we will see how they edit it and how they portray both sides. That is why I want to make sure my side gets out the right way and people see where I am coming from.” Interestingly enough, he also added “I know when, I think it was last season when some guy texted her in the morning and I got mad about it, and everyone was like ‘oh, Javi’s so controlling’ and this and that … um, it all makes sense now, so it’ll play out in this season.” Is Javi implying that Kailyn was cheating on him , and that that will be revealed in the new season? We were already planning on watching, but you know we can’t miss a minute now. And finally, Javi was asked if he was planning on leaving the show, now that he’s not married to his Teen Mom. “No, I mean at the end of the day, I used to tell Kail this is a blessing. I said regardless how stressful, it’s opened a lot of doors and you should be thankful, and when you are having a rough day, don’t take it out on them. They are here to do a job just like you are.” “I think of it more as a blessing,” he concluded. “Just roll with the punches, you know.” Thank goodness one of these people has a little bit of sense. Billy Bush has issued an apology for his role in the video that may truly sink Donald Trump’s Presidential campaign. Earlier on Friday, The Washington Post released extensive footage from 2005. It features Trump and Bush having a conversation that they believed was off the record, talking in a lewd manner about women… about having sex with women… and other vulgar things about women. The guy is running for President of the United States. And he did make such comments in the video as: “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. I did try and f–k her. She was married.” (He was allegedly talking about Nancy O’Dell at the time.) “Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything.” “Just kiss. I don’t even wait,” noting that “when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.” Donald Trump, nominee for the most powerful office in the land, said all of these things and more – while he married to Melania Trump. But Bush played his role in the scandalous footage as well. The conversation took place as Trump and Bush were on board an Access Hollywood bus, just as they were arriving on the set of Days of Our Lives to tape a segment about a cameo Trump was filming for the soap opera. At various times, Bush eggs Trump on and seems quite impressed by his womanizing ways and offensive language. In response to the tape’s release, Bush has said the following: “Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. What else could someone in his situation say? Trump has answered that question. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course – not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.” Ah, yes. The classic if you were offended non-apology apology. Also, come on: Does even the harshest Bill Clinton hater think the ex-President made comments remotely similar to this to Trump back in the day? And/or: Who cares if he did?!? Does that make Trump’s actions any more excusable? “I moved on her very heavily,” Trump says elsewhere in the video of O’Dell. “In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture. “I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t–s and everything. If you watched this week’s episode of Counting On , you bore witness to a rather awkward encounter between Jinger Duggar and her brothers-in-law, Ben Seewald and Derick Dillard. In the scene, Ben and Derick advised Jinger on proper courtship protocol. Despite harsh criticism from commenters on his Instagram page, Ben has been unwavering in his support of Kaepernick and the Black Lives Matter movement. Following the police shooting of Terrence Crutcher last month, Seewald drew further flak for retweeting a minister who begged for unity and compassion for Crutcher’s family: But while he’s been more vocal than ever in recent weeks, Ben has been sensitive to the ongoing problem of police violence in America going at least as far back as the Ferguson protests of 2014.
