Jo Andres, the director of the 1996 festival circuit hit Black Kites and wife of over 31 years to actor Steve Buscemi, has died from causes unknown. She was 65 years old. The award-winning actor – known for his roles on Boardwalk Empire, The Sopranos, Fargo and The Big Lebowski – married Andres in 1987. They welcomed one child together, a son named Lucian, in 1990. No date of death has been disclosed, but a memorial service reportedly was held last Tuesday at the couple’s home in Brooklyn. The sad news has only just gone public now. Andres, who posed on the red carpet with Buscemi seven months ago, rose to prominence within the 1980s art world through what is described on her website as “film/dance/light performances.” She made her directorial debut with the aforementioned Black Kites. Black Kites is a 26-minute short film based on the 1992 journals and drawing of Sarajevan visual artist Alma Hajric. It was was written and directed by Andres and it starred Mimi Goese and Buscemi. Lucian Buscemi, the then-six-year-old son of the actor and Andres, also appeared in the movie. According to Andres’ website, she worked at various times as an artist in residence at numerous universities, museums and art colonies; including Yaddo and The Rockefeller Study Center in Bellagio, Italy. Andres’ other big screen resume includes the 2012 short Liquid Tara, along with videos of her performance pieces. She directed the 2013 music video When The Curtain Comes Down for Diana Krall, which featured Buscemi and which was played during the singer-pianist’s international tour. In a 2009 Q&A with The Independent, Buscemi said his favorite work of art is “something by my wife Jo Andres. She paints, she makes films, she has done performance.” “Condolences to Steve Buscemi and loved ones on his loss,” tweeted actor James Woods on Saturday, adding: “This fine family was so supportive of first responders during 9/11 tragedy.” Our thoughts go out to Andres’ friends, family members and loved ones at this time. Kailyn Lowry is in some sort of relationship with Chris Lopez. Maybe. Possibly. At this point in time, since Chris refuses to be on Teen Mom 2 and he's not out there doing tell-all interviews or anything, and since Kailyn is reluctant to share too much information, we really don't know what's going on with them. We do know that they were seen holding hands at an awards show , and she's joked that they're getting married soon . He's also defended her against haters on social media , so he's basically her 21st century knight in shining armor. Earlier this week on her podcast, she explained that he's staying away from the spotlight and refusing to be on the show because he doesn't want to “take advantage” of her like others have done. “I don't think any real man wants to hear, 'You have what you have because of Teen Mom,' especially because he wasn't a teen parent,” she said. But still, she did admit that Chris is “a huge part” of her life. And so it just makes sense that in this new sneak peek for the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2, she's talking to her sons, Isaac and Lincoln, about the possibility of marrying him. In the clip, Kailyn is driving around with her three children, and she says that they've been getting ready for Lux's first birthday , so this is probably back in late July or early August. She asks them if they're excited about their baby brother's birthday, and they are, because they are precious angels. Except Lincoln then announces that “When I was a baby, I was fat like your belly's fat.” She laughs and tells him “I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do with you, but I'm gonna do something!” They talk about what Lux might wish for for his birthday, and Lincoln thinks he might want a baby sister, because as Isaac points out, there are a whole lot of boys in their family. (At this point, they knew that Javi was expecting another son with girlfriend Lauren Comeau .) From there, Lincoln goes to telling her that he doesn't have a stepdad like Isaac did with Javi, and Kailyn replies with “Not yet, Chris will …” CHRIS WILL WHAT?! We don't know how she was planning on finishing that sentence because Isaac cuts her off to inform her that she can't get married again because she already married Javi. She explains to him that since they got divorced, she could get married again if she wanted. “Maybe I'll meet somebody,” she says, “or maybe me and the baby's dad will get married one day.” And there it is. Like we said, we don't know exactly what's going on with their relationship, so it's really hard to say if a wedding is in the cards. To those who tuned in for The Bachelor premiere on Monday, the following is not exactly breaking news. But it still must be said: Catherine Agro is not shy. The aspiring wife of Colton Underwood arrived at the ABC mansion this past Monday night showing off both her legs and her dog, Lucy. She made a solid first impression on the famous virginal star of Season 23, but she made a very different kind of impression on her fellow suitors. Argo swooped in and stole Colton away conversations with other women on four separate occasions during this extended premiere, setting an unofficial record for interruptions, according to the Internet. She also says that she is a Christian and a real estate agent who attended the University of Florida. Doesn’t sound like someone who plans on running for the attention bound to come her way, does it? Catherine also tags the Bachelor Winter Games Instagram account in this picture, seemingly trying to get that program’s attention … and possibly hoping for an invitation to the show. This certainly wouldn’t be the first time a suitor used The Bachelor as a springboard to more appearances within the ABC reality show franchise. But it does appear as if Colton may need to ask himself whether Catherine is in this for the right reasons. Will her aggressive approach work? 2019 has scarcely begun, but Florida Woman is already making multiple headlines. This time, a woman in Florida has been arrested after she flew into a rage and attacked her elderly parents. See, she had wanted to go to Outback Steakhouse — and they had said “no.” 28-year-old Deana Seltzer lives with her parents in Lake Worth, Florida. Last week, she apparently wanted to go to Outback Steakhouse, a franchise restaurant. (The franchise is so common that we covered a story about an Outback server in Florida just last year in this same county) Her elderly parents, Vadim Seltzer and Lydumila Seltzer, reportedly told her that they were not going to that establishment. Deana did not handle the disappointment well. Instead, she allegedly violently attacked both of her parents. According to authorities, Deana “became enraged” when her mother turned down her request. She allegedly struck her mother with her closed fist, striking her mother's torso. Deana is said to have scretched her father in multiple places during her furious assault. Vadim called 9-1-1 after Deana waved a 12-inch decorate knife in the air. “I'm going to f–king kill you,” she reportedly threatened. Her parents have been described as frail and elderly, but Vadim was able to separate the knife from his daughter before things escalated further. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says that when they arrived on the scene, Deana surrendered peacefully. That, at least, is good. She had apparently done damage to more than just her parents. Apparently she did a lot of damage to furniture. Officers describe seeing a “large glass dining room table flipped over and broken glass scattered throughout the dining area.” Deana Seltzer is charged with battery, battery of a person 65 or older, and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A common milestone for adulthood is realizing that you can make choices. You can choose what to buy at the grocery store, where you go out to eat, and what to eat for dinner. There's even the moment when you're with family and can finally answer that “do you have McDonald's money?” or its equivalent with yes, mom, I do . Some people, because of disabilities or the nightmarish economic reality that is the 21st century, do not get to make those choices. It is very understanding that an adult still dependent upon the whims of their parent would be frustrated at a lack of choices. But violence is not the answer. Ever. And, let's be real, even if it were appropriate to respond to a “no” with violence, it wouldn't be over Outback Steakhouse. There's more to life than a Blooming Onion.
