Dayum. White Woman Attacked By Black Teenagers Stop the violence! According to Mail Online A Pittsburgh mother has said that she feared for her life when she was attacked by a group of teenagers in the city’s North Side on Sunday as they beat her while calling her racial slurs. Ginger Slepski said that she suffered torn shoulder ligaments in the attack by the four black teenage girls which has left the electrician mother-of-two unable to work. ‘I thought it was so animalistic,’ said Slepski to WPXI. ‘So violent. I’m afraid for these girls to get out and walk the streets.’ Police in Pittsburgh said that Slepski was attacked after one of the teens threw a bottle at her car as she was driving through the North Side of Pittsburgh. ‘I was mad. I knew they were younger,’ said Slepski. ‘I thought they were in their early 20s. I got out and said, ‘What is your problem?’ The four teens were African-American and have now been arrested by Pittsburgh police and face charges of ethnic intimidation and juvenile counts of robbery and conspiracy. The names of the suspects will not be released by police, but all are between the ages of 14 and 16. Slepski said that she tried to escape the girls when she realized she was outnumbered but one of the girls grabbed her by the hair. ‘The one punched me in the head and I was on a set of concrete steps and my head hit the concrete so hard,’ said Slepski to WPXI. ‘Then they all got on top of me and all their hands were in my hair. They kept telling each other to, ‘Kick her in the head. Kick her head in the concrete.’ The mother-of-two said that the attack was witnessed by several people, but they were too scared to help. ‘Another woman was yelling at the girls, ‘I’m calling the police!’ And it’s like it only made it worse,’ Slepski said. Eventually a man jumped in to separate the girls and Slepski and allow her to escape. ‘I do feel like it was very racially motivated and I grew up in the neighborhood,’ said the electrician. It’s sad that  this mother has been injured so bad that she can’t provide for her children. WPXI

Meek Mill, Fabolous And French Montana Rip Off Charity Via NY Daily News reports: French Montana may sing about how he worries about nothin’ — but the blinged-out rapper and other hip hop stars defrauded an uptown promoter who was then forced to scrub his fundraising show, the producer told the News. Our Firefighters Children’s Foundation shelled out $48,500 to rappers Montana, Fabolous and Meek Mill and VH1 reality star Olivia Longott to perform at a “stop the violence” concert slated for Saturday. But the singers violated a non-compete clause in their contract with foundation CEO John Ruiz — signing up to perform a similar show in the same month, Ruiz said. As a result, Ruiz says his ticket sales cratered and he canceled the show. In the end, he sold just 200 ducats, far from the 3,300-seat capacity of the United Palace Theater — and he says he’s out $120,000. “The contract said they couldn’t perform within 30 days of my concert in a 80-mile radius,” said Ruiz. “They didn’t do what they were supposed to do. “Once they got the money, they were gone,” added Ruiz, who runs the nonprofit out of his apartment in the Taft Houses. “They don’t care about stopping the violence.” Ruiz, a 59-year-old former FDNY firefighter, will rally Saturday at the mammoth Washington Heights theater to call for a boycott the rappers. “We wanted to spread the message about violence. The youth look up to these rap stars,” Ruiz said. So the way to combat violence is by having a concert with rapper that talk about violence and handing out fades?

Should Men Who Force Sex On Women And Impregnate Them Have Parental Rights? A group of bi-partisan lawmakers are currently working to push legislation forward that would give female survivors of forced sex that resulted in a child the right to terminate the parental rights of their attackers. At present, more than half of the U.S. does not have laws that protect the custodial rights of victims of forced sex that resulted in children. via Think Progress On Thursday, a bipartisan group of lawmakers led by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) held a press conference to explain their recently-introduced legislation designed to help rape survivors maintain full custody rights over their children. The lawmakers were joined by Shauna Prewitt, a rape survivor and victims’ rights advocate who was forced to endure the type of custody battle with her rapist that the bill seeks to prevent. The Rape Survivor Child Custody Act would provide funding incentives to states that have laws allowing mothers of children conceived through rape to “seek court-ordered termination of the parental rights of her rapist.” These states would receive federal grant funding for programs authorized under the federal Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). Currently, 31 states have no custodial rights protections for mothers of children conceived in rape. Of the 19 states that do have some protections, only six reach the standard advocated by the proposed bill. At the press conference, Prewitt explained that victims in this situation can often face a dynamic where their rapist threatens to pursue custodial rights over the child unless they drop their criminal charges. The bill also encourages states to pass laws allowing survivors to petition for the termination of their rapists’ custodial rights as long as they can show that they had been raped under a “clear and convincing evidence” standard. Only six states currently have such laws, whereas thirteen others require criminal convictions for the rapist. That requires a stronger standard of evidence and can place survivors in long legal battles that may prove traumatizing. Do you think men who impregnate women through forced sex should be given the chance to be in the child’s life? Obviously, most people can agree that attackers who force sex on women would likely not be fit for fatherhood, but what about cases where a husband or significant other is accused or convicted of raping his partner and she gets pregnant? Should the mothers in those situations have the option to legally terminate his parental rights also? Let’s discuss.

Lawsuits: Singer Omarion Sued By Two Male Fans For Getting That New York Work By Thugs

It’s not Omarion’s fault ya’ll got chin-checked. Omarion Sued By Fans According to TMZ Omarion is being sued by two male fans who got their a**** kicked by random thugs at an O show … and claim the singer’s to blame ’cause he didn’t provide the “tight security” he advertised. Brunel Jordonne and Kenson Sainvilus filed the lawsuit against Omarion and Ole Bar and Grill in Newburgh, NY, claiming they attended O’s concert on September 21 … and a bunch of fights broke out. According to the lawsuit, club security tried to defuse the situation by pushing everyone out to the parking lot, but the two men wanted to stay at their VIP table … where they felt safe. Jordonne and Sainvilus claim security forced them outside anyway — where the two men were then attacked by a group of strangers for no reason … and things got crazy. According to the docs, Sainvilus was punched in the head several times and security even maced him as he tried to escape the parking lot fight. Meanwhile, Jordonne claims he was kicked in the head and had to be airlifted to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. Sainvilus says he was also hospitalized. The irony — the men claim Omarion advertised “tight security” on his concert poster … and now believe he miserably failed to live up to that promise. They’re now suing for unspecified damages. Calls to Omarion’s camp have not been returned. These ninjas are suing everybody outchea.

Whoa… Tour Guide Shares Story Of Being Swallowed Alive By Hippo This is some WILD ish….. via Huffington Post “There was a terrible, sulphurous smell, like rotten eggs, and a tremendous pressure against my chest,” Paul Templer said, recalling the moment he realized he had been swallowed by a hippopotamus. At the time, Templer was 27, a river guide taking groups of tourists down the Zambezi river near Victoria Falls, along the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. His near-death story appeared in The Guardian’s “Experience” series on Friday and has since grabbed headlines around the world. “I remember looking up through 10 feet of water at the green and yellow light playing on the surface, and wondering which of us could hold his breath the longest,” he wrote in The Guardian. “Blood rose from my body in clouds, and a sense of resignation overwhelmed me. I’ve no idea how long we stayed under — time passes very slowly when you’re in a hippo’s mouth.” The hippo’s teeth savaged Templer’s chest and left arm. But he told The Chicago Tribune in an earlier interview that he still counts himself very lucky. “I went straight down his throat. It smelled like death,” Templer said in the Tribune. And yet, when the hippo “bit into my lungs he missed my heart. He missed my liver and kidneys.” Although Templer carried a .357-caliber Magnum firearm, he told the Tribune he never got a chance to pull it. After repeated bites, Templer managed to get ashore, but his wounds included a bite so deep it revealed part of his lung. No idea how he lived to tell about this! Shutterstock

Why are so many gay people being attacked? Must be something in the water. Men Badly Beat Gay Guys According to NY Post Two Manhattan men have been arrested and at least three others are being sought for badly beating two gays near Madison Square Garden earlier Friday morning. The assault, which led to one of the men undergoing eye surgery at Bellevue Hospital, occurred just five days after a gay couple were beaten near the Garden following Sunday’s New York Knick’s game. In this morning’s incident, the victims, age 27 and 37 who live on the west side of Manhattan, were set upon by a pack of five to six individuals shortly before 5 a.m. near West 32d Street, after they tried to get into a billiard parlor. When one of the suspects was asked if they were gay — and acknowledged they were — the violence began. “They came after us and fought with us because we are homosexuals,” one of the victims told cops. Asllan Berisha, of West 95th Street, and Brian Ramirez, of Third Avenue, both 21 and of Manhattan, are charged with gang assault and assault as a hate crime and are awaiting arraignment in Manhttan Criminal Court. A PAPD sergeant and two cops arrested the men; cops are checking surveillance videos in bid to locate other suspects. Could you imagine being beaten so hard you have to have eye surgery?

Stop The Violence: Man Fatally Shot In “Normally Quiet” Chicago Neighborhood

Ish is real in Chicago ! According to DNAInfoChicago A man died after being shot Monday morning in an area of Back of the Yards that neighbors described as quiet. The 22-year-old man was in the 1700 block of West 44th Street about 4:50 a.m. when he was shot, said officer Michael Sullivan, a Chicago Police spokesman. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Chicago Fire Department spokeswoman Meg Ahlheim said. He later died of his injuries, said a spokeswoman with the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. The morgue was not releasing the man’s identity pending notification his family. No one was in custody for the shooting, Sullivan said. Neighbors Gibron Lenero and Reyna Lenero said they woke up about 4:30 a.m. and heard arguing outside. Soon after, Reyna Lenero heard shots, she said. The couple, who moved to the area four months ago, said it’s a quiet residential street that’s well patrolled by police, and nothing like this has happened since they’ve been here. “It’s just families,” Gibron Lenero said. Reyna Lenero said she’s “a little bit” scared because the couple has two young daughters. “This was just a couple meters from our house,” Gibron Lenero said. Another local resident, Jose Gemenez, said he’s lived in different houses on the same street in this neighborhood for more than 30 years. He didn’t hear anything and was shocked when he saw cop cars and crime scene tape while getting his kids ready for school. “I’m kind of surprised because there’s a lot of police around here,” Gemenez said. “We don’t see the violence here usually.” He said the area was worse years ago, but things seemed to be getting better. “It’s not in this area, not on this side of the park,” Gemenez said.
