Image via Getty Body Cam Footage Of Wichita Cop Shooting Girl In Eye Footage of scary azz ex-Wichita police officer Dexter Betts firing shots at a family dog is currently going viral. According to Wichita Eagle , Betts was responding to a 911 call that a wife made after her husband threatened to shoot himself. Upon arrival, Betts and his partner are seen walking through the house. When they encounter the children in the living room, the family dog begins to bark and run up on them. Betts, finger on the trigger, fires two shots at the dog who was sitting right in front of a 9-year-old girl who took bullet ricochet in the face above her eye. Right after, Betts shouts “Whoa! Whoa!” The camera swings over to show a dog moving on the floor between Betts and the girl. It barks. Betts fires two shots. The girl immediately wails, “Ow! Ow! Ow, you hurt my eye! Ow! Ow!” When asked what had happened inside the home via police radio, Betts responded that “dog inside attacked us”. Betts was eventually fired for his reckless abandon with a service pistol, he was charged with felony aggravated battery and is headed to trial. “Baby Daddy” Father’s Day Greeting Card Pulled From Target Target has been called to task over racial insensitivity after a photo of one of their Father’s Day cards has gone viral. While searching for a greeting card for her husband at a Rockwall, Texas Target, Takeisha Saunders noticed that the only card that featured a picture of an African-American couple read “Baby Daddy” om the front . She took to her social media, outraged that she could find nothing else more respectful, or featuring a Black couple with the insinuation that they were married. According to ABC , after an onslaught of outrage, Target yanked the cards from about half of its 1800 nationwide store locations. Take a look at the card below. It appears that the card is meant to be some sort of loving joke between a married couple with children, however, the couple featured on the front being Black left a pretty sour taste in the mouths of those who got an eyeful of the sentiment on social media. As Target spokesman Joshua Thomas said in a statement to ABC News, “We want all guests to feel welcomed and respected when they shop at Target. We were made aware of some concerns about this card last week and are working with our vendor to have it removed from Target stores. We appreciate the feedback and apologize. Sophia Bush has been divorced from Chad Michael Murray for well over a decade. The former One Tree Hill co-stars got married in April of 2005 and split up just five months later, shattering the hopes and dreams of all who watched and adored their WB drama. This all played out a very long time ago, yet Bush stopped by Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM radio show this week and dredged up the ancient and awkward past. In an interview with the Bravo executive, Bush actually said she didn’t even marry Murray out of love. She agreed to the legal union due to pressure from those associated with One Tree Hill. “It was like the second season, but everyone’s been 22 and stupid,” Bush said of the relationship, adding that marriage “was not a thing I actually really wanted to do” and later explaining: “Ladies have to learn how to take up space in the way that men are taught that they are entitled to.” Interesting, huh? And very layered and sort of vague and confusing, right? “If you didn’t want to get married, how do you get to the point of being talked into it?” asked Cohen. “How do you let everybody down?” the actress responded, continuing: “And how do you – what’s the fight and when you have bosses telling you that you’re the only person who gets a person to work on time and 200 people either get to see their kids at night or they don’t because our days start on time?” So… Bush was talked into being with Murray because she could control him on set? “Life is always loaded,” she told Cohen. “What the public knows ever is never – it’s not the tip of the iceberg. “Hilarie [Burton] and I used to laugh and we were like, ‘If we had a behind-the-scenes show, the drama would be so much f-cking better than the drama that the writers write.'” Shortly after her interview with viral, Bush tried to walk back her apparent criticism of Murray. She Tweeted that she was making fun of herself, not her former co-star and husband. “When you’re taking the piss out of yourself – b/c people can’t let the past go & you really wish they would – & gossip rags try to turn it into inappropriate drama rather than self-deprication,” she wrote. “Don’t twist people’s words, y’all. If it wasn’t clear, I was making fun of MYSELF.” Murray, however, was among those who took offense to Bush bringing up their marriage all this time later. Especially when she did absolutely say that the romance had as much to do with her professional obligations as how she actually felt about Murray. “This story is ludicrous,” a rep for the actor said in a response statement, adding: “Chad conducts himself in a completely professional manner and would never marry for any reason but love. “Thirteen years since his divorce from Sophia, he has a very happy family life with his wife and children. “He has completely moved on and doesn’t feel the need to engage in this type of behavior.” View Slideshow: 19 Best Shows in CW History: Ranked!
We've all been there, right? We're attending a country music festival. We've had our share of alcohol beverages. And we see a pickup truck. The pickup truck, naturally, has an exhaust pipe coming out of its rear. And we think to ourselves… hey, I think my head could fit safely into that exhaust pipe and then I could pull it back out with ease ! No? We haven't all been there? Only Kaitlin Strom, the woman featured in the following video has been there? That's sort of what we figured. In a Facebook video that has been viewed nearly three million times, this 19-year old is sitting on the ground at the Winstock Music Festival with her head inside of an oversized diesel exhaust pipe. The brief snippet below features emergency crews preparing to use a power saw to cut her free. How did she end up in this situation? “We were just all having fun and I saw this big exhaust pipe and I was like, ‘Hey, my head could probably fit in that, so I tried it. It did fit, but it didn’t want to come back out,” Strom explained to the Hutchinson Leader. Strom went on to say she was trapped in this pipe for about 45 minutes, which seems like an extremely long time to have one's head trapped inside of an exhaust pipe. The teenager simply tried to remain calm before the fire department was able to finally get her out. That was the good news… the bad news is that she was cited by the police department for underage drinking. How much did she imbibe? Strom would not say. On Tuesday, the animal was removed from the roof of an office block in St. Paul, Minnesota. But instead of laying low and going home, the raccoon still needed to get their skyscraper fix. Thankfully, the raccoon did reach their destination and was captured to be released back into the wild.
