The strip club isn’t only for big ballers and rappers, police officers like to make it rain too — even if that means playing hooky from work. Denver Police Officer Shederick Dobbin was suspended earlier this week for 10 days after he left work early to go to a strip club. According to DPD : Dobbin went to a strip club at 2:25 p.m. in November 2018. He was scheduled to be on duty until 3 p.m. Video shows Dobbin entering PT’s Showclub on West Evans Avenue near Ruby Hill Park. DPD said Dobbin also misused a police database to look up the criminal history of a dancer and two of her associates at the club. The dancer was found dead in Lakewood in November. Lakewood Police are still investigating the dancer’s death, however, Dobbin is not a suspect. Wow.

I obviously love it here, and like I said, this was extremely difficult. Last season, I did ‘The Conners’ as you know, and was also producing and here, and I loved it and felt totally empowered, but also If I’m being honest about it, I think my life was slightly out of balance, and I wasn’t able to spend as much time with my three kids as I’d like, or time for myself. And as I’ve continued on I’m starting to develop more things to produce and I’m having opportunities to act, and I’m just feeling like I don’t know how I’m going to do it all. I was looking at the next six months and just thinking there’s no time. And I’ll look at even small things in my life, my youngest is four years old, and I still haven’t made his baby book. You know, you sit , and you think ‘oh my God,’ my daughter is looking at hers last night and I was like ‘Ahh, he’s going to figure it out soon.’ Just basic life things, but it’s difficult because this is a place I love and a place that I’m extremely happy. I love the hosts; I love the crew; I love our staff. I’m so grateful to the audience for letting me in your homes every day. It’s been such an honor, and I’m not going anywhere yet, I’ll be here the rest of the season. I will come back. I will guest co-host. You’re not going to get rid of me, so I’ll be around be around. Thank you so much.” Watch her deliver the news below: Sara was the founder of the show and has been with the program from the start, like Sharon Osbourne. Source: brankokosteski / Getty No matter how many times White folks are told not to use the N-word , for some reason they continue to test the limits to see how far they can actually go. A video of White, male, American University student, Aise O’Neil, confidently using the racial slur has gone viral — and while some people are outraged, others are not surprised by the overt disrespect. When asked why he thought it was okay to use the offensive term, O’Neil replied: “I think it’s okay to say any word.” This is why I don’t feel welcomed at American University @AmericanU @SylviaBurwell pic.twitter.com/65nepSJ4Yp — Tas (@TasneemOsm) April 7, 2019 But according to the school, the conversation was completely taken out of context. On Sunday, AU released a statement explaining: “It is vital that we recognize the historical context of the language we use. A slur that has been used in the context of racism, bigotry, discrimination and violence does harm when it is used without understanding its context and painful impact on members of our community. We remain committed to building an inclusive community where every member feels valued and is treated with respect and dignity.” AU students, however, say that racist behavior at the school is nothing new. This is disgusting. During welcome week freshmen year, a white student (male) came up to me trying to make conversation and i guess being “hip” to him is calling me his “nigga” so im not surprised to see such utterly appalling behavior from students @AU @AmericanU @SylviaBurwell — Kèylia Carter (@KayKeylia_) April 7, 2019 The tea is that people act like American University is some liberal fantasyland when there’s plenty of dumb, racist fucks like this guy all over campus. No wonder students of color are looking elsewhere to study. AU needs to take racial equity seriously, not just as a nice idea. https://t.co/V83RREySz5 — R Y A N (@RyanMarsan) April 7, 2019 The University added that they’re currently working with the students involved and affected the discriminatory language, and moving forward, the school will be guided by the Student Code of Conduct. Okay.
Source: Nia Noelle / Nia Noelle The Viral Video Causes Backlash & Demands From The Community A Virginia police officer let his racist feelings fly when interacting with some Black middle schoolers. According to New York Daily News , the unidentified White cop was slowly driving past the group of kids after they allegedly heckled him. That’s when the words came from his salty mouth: “Wait until your a$$es turn 18, then you’re mine.” The clip was recorded by 13-year-old Cameron Hillard and posted to Facebook by her mom Keisha Curry. The officer faced immediate backlash when the clip went viral with over 57,000 views. “I am disgusted and disappointed but not surprised that a white male officer would make a threat and use that tone or language towards a group of children,” Curry wrote in the video caption. “My child and her friends have to walk to their after school program and knowing that the police are making idle threats to them is unsettling.” After all the backlash, the cop must now undergo remedial training, according to interim police chief William Smith. The officer has also been reassigned elsewhere in Richmond, Virginia. “I share the community’s concern with that incident,” Smith told the Richmond Times-Dispatch , saying that the comment was “inappropriate.” He continued, “His actions do not reflect the actions, the policies or the training that we have as an agency, and do not reflect the expectations that I have.” The disciplinary action concluded with an internal investigation of the cop, whose 15-year tenure has been marked by one other complaint. “He voluntarily requested to be given the opportunity to speak to and apologize to the parents,” Smith said in a statement from NBC News . “While these facts don’t minimize the incident, they do give you totality of the person.” Yea, whatever. Many parents still weren’t here for the BS. Ms. Curry complained, “Not letting the public know who the officer is doesn’t allow any other individuals the opportunity to speak out if they were mistreated by him before.” She continued: “ Everyone knows we didn’t want him fired based on this encounter, but how can this behavior be fully investigated by only doing an internal investigation, when the verbal threat was done in the community?” QUESTIONS THAT NEED ANSWERS.

The esteemed guests included Atlanta mayor Keisha Bottoms, as well as 21 Savage’s manager Kei Henderson, tech entrepreneur Paul Judge, QC head honcho Kevin “Coach K” Lee, and rapper/activist/businessman Killer Mike. In addition, the crowd was also treated to performances by local talent like Beyoncé’s shining stars Chole x Halle, Gunna, and 2 Chainz. Mayor Bottoms spoke to a loud and proud crowd about the possibilities that exist in Atlanta that perhaps don’t exist elsewhere. Coach K took the mic and preached a Peachtree sermon about how influential Atlanta is to the rest of the world and ways to further bolster the city’s profile. 2 Chainz took a moment to honor Nipsey Hussle before he went on with his set. Then he gave the people what they came to see. We were beyond impressed with the thought and care that AT&T took in making sure that Atlanta was presented in a positive and uplifting light. ‘Twas a great night with stellar activations, photo booths, and interactive exhibits that rep the 404.
