Caitlyn Jenner: The Kardashians are All Drama, I Regret Nothing!

Caitlyn Jenner is still out there promoting her new book, The Secrets of My Life — she’s doing interviews, she’s making statements, she’s getting intimate . And the Kardashians are still not cool with it. But although Caitlyn’s former family has made it clear that they don’t approve of all of her stories, she’s not about to stop anytime soon. In fact, she may have just given her shadiest interview yet! She spoke with Australia’s Today show, and she seemed to respond to the statement Kim Kardashian made during her appearance on Ellen — the one where she said that she doesn’t respect Caitlyn right now . “I love Kimberly,” Caitlyn began, “I think she’s a wonderful person. But, well, to be honest with you, I really haven’t talked to her in a long time.” For what it’s worth, Kim said it had been a couple of weeks since she’d spoken to her, so either someone is fibbing or Caitlyn doesn’t have a strong grasp on the concept of time. “I’ve kind of let everything calm down,” Caitlyn continued. “So I kind of stay, you know, I keep my distance.” “I’m out there trying to make a difference in the world.” Get it, because the Kardashians don’t make a difference? They just take selfies and manufacture drama and then take more selfies ? Yeah, you get it. Caitlyn said that while “There’s a lot of drama in the Kardashian family,” and no kidding, “This is my book about my opinions on things that happened with me and my family.” “Any time I express my opinion, you know, with my family, there’s always challenges in doing that.” She definitely has a point — she’s allowed to tell her story, and it’s obviously very important to her that she does — but she could still manage to show a little more tact when it comes to her stepchildren. She could perhaps even stand to be a little kinder to her wife of 23 years, Kris Jenner — but as we see in another interview Caitlyn did, this one with The Talk, she’s not interested in doing that, either. When asked if she regretted anything she wrote about Kris in her book, she said “I regret nothing, OK? I have no regrets. I got over regrets a long time ago. “I don’t want to hurt anybody, especially family members,” she went on, “but, um … if you saw the show over the last ten years, eleven years or whatever, my opinion was never really brought forward.” “It was everybody else’s opinion, I was with a lot of very strong women, which is fine, I love them all, but this book is about my story.” Caitlyn said that she was “so nice to Kris” in the book, but that obviously they have different interpretations of what happened in their marriage. “We’re not talking as much as we used to, but I’m sure that’ll change when everything calms down,” she added, and she said the same thing for the Kardashians. For everyone’s sake, we hope that’s the case. View Slideshow: Caitlyn Jenner: Read the 19 Most Stunning Quotes From Her Memoir

Kelly Clarkson Joins The Voice, Sticks It to American Idol

So much for all that Idol chatter. A few days after rumors surfaced that Kelly Clarkson would be a judge on the revamped version of American Idol, the original winner of has come out and stunned the television universe: She will, indeed, be a judge on an upcoming season of a beloved, long-time running singing competition. But it will not be the show that made her famous. It will be The Voice. Said Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Reality Group, NBC Entertainment, in a statement of his own: “Kelly has been a part of The Voice family for many years as an adviser and performer. Exclusive: Luvvie Ajayi Talks Shondaland, Her Best-Selling Book, AT&T Partnership & More!

Luvvie Dishes On Her AT&T Partnership & More! For years, internet famous creatives have struggled to flip Likes, Retweets and Shares into viable careers outside of their Wifi connection. And they’ve tried everything from freelancing to podcasting to YouTubing to frisbeeing away quality content for free without ever breaking into the impossibly competitive digital media industry. At times, it seemed impossible to turn tweets into dollars–rent-paying, food-buying, self-supporting dollars–until ambitious tastemakers like Luvvie Ajayi proved you could flip Twitter fame into offline power moves with golden partnership opportunities. Best known for her wildly popular blog Awesomely Luvvie and must-see tweets , Luvvie created her very own lane as a fiercely funny Black woman in a very white and unfunny space making her an essential leader of the new-age diversity movement. We chatted with the hilarious Twitter maven-turned-best-selling author (“I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual”) who recently hosted a beautifully melaniny soirée for top influencers at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit ( powered by AT&T ) in Phoenix. “The Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit already attracts amazing women and everybody I invited said yes. So, we had Bozoma Saint John from Apple, Elaine Welteroth from Teen Vogue, Debra M. Chase who is a major TV producer, Nina Shaw who’s an attorney–the who’s who of Black Hollywood… AT&T asked me ‘what would you serve people who want to come to your house for dinner’ and I said rice and great seafood and red velvet cupcakes and they made it happen!” Most aspiring influencers can only dream of reaching Luvvie’s level of eSuccess that sparked a friendship with beloved Shondaland Mayor Shonda Rhimes who loved her deliciously witty  Scandal recaps and offered the partnership of a lifetime. “Shonda loved my book and thought it lended itself to television so I’m partnering with Shondaland and hopefully it becomes a television series” Her bookshelf-worthy best-seller  I’m Judging You: The Do-Better Manual nudged her into the mainstream where she flourished with a universally enjoyable funny but the journey wasn’t easy. “I got the idea to write this book in August 2014 because somebody plagiarized my work and took about three paragraphs of it and put it in something they were writing and didn’t give me credit… I had a brainstorm session with myself where I just tried to figure out the things I want to write and points I want to make–I wrote a proposal for it to my book agent, sent the proposal out and it got bought by Henry publishing… I wrote this book over 5 months in 6 or 7 countries, 4 continents and I was just very clear about what I wanted to write, I had my proposal as my outline and when it came time to actually write it wasn’t as difficult because I already knew what I wanted to say” Proudly Black and magical, Luvvie is thrilled that her voice touched those who don’t necessarily look like her but still relate nonetheless. It feels good to know that my writing crosses all types of age and gender and geographic boundaries, for me, it’s important to not just be preaching to the choir… I always feel firm that I’m a black woman first, I write for Black women, but it’s a huge compliment to know that other people can still relate to my writing” With success, comes waves of success-thirsty strangers who want to know your every secret to winning and it’s always very simple. “I’ve done what’s authentic to me and I’ve done the things that I’ve loved doing for a long time. I’ve been blogging for 14 years so people see the success that’s happening now, it’s not overnight, it’s not a 1-tip thing,  I’ve just been doing this writing online for a long time” What’s NEXT for digital media dynamo Luvvie Ajayi? Well… “I’m gonna keep doing the things I love…working with Shondaland to develop the show, doing more speaking engagements, just stuff that I enjoy” You can purchase Luvvie’s best-seller here , read her addictive blog here and follow her on Twitter here . Mr Lea Michele Butt Shots of the Day

Sir Lea Michele is on the hustle, I don’t know what she’s promoting, or why she is craving some male attention, or why she’s feeling hot and sexy, maybe she’s ovulating, LOL, I know dude’s don’t ovulate, but maybe she thinks she’s ovulating because she’s that into her role as lifelong woman, she needs to channel things women go through…or maybe she is a woman and I am just an asshole for calling her a dude due to her hard face, when she’s got a fit little body for a 30 year old, with some swollen, likely implant tits, making her face and her manly jaw irrelevant…something we can assume she’s trying to prevent herself as a whole, with her voice of an angel, in whatever it is she’s promoting by getting half naked, because that’s how people promote things, in this “don’t sexualize me, let me sexualize myself, since sex sells world”…. People Ain’t Isht: Bill HO’Reilly Reportedly Dropped Contributor After She Refused To Come To His Hotel Room

Bill O’Reilly Accused Of Being Womanizer, Fox Has Spent $13 Mill Settling Lawsuits Over Misconduct Can’t say we’re surprised. Bill HO’Reilly has always struck us as a super creep, and over the weekend the NY Times reported as much, revealing his employer Fox News has paid five women $13 million to settle allegations of sexual harassment and other inappropriate conduct levied against him. Since these women have already accepted settlements, so far it looks like none of them are speaking up — possibly because of gag orders associated with the payouts. BUT — today another former colleague of O’Reilly’s — a woman named Wendy Walsh has made claims she was punished for refusing to go back to the talk show host’s hotel room, the Washington Post just revealed . During a news conference today, lawyer Lisa Bloom spelled out accusations by her client Wendy Walsh, once a regular guest on “The O’Reilly Factor.” Bloom claims O’Reilly told Walsh he’d recommend her for a paid contributor role on Fox. According to Walsh, she and O’Reilly had dinner in 2013 in L.A., but after she declined an invitation to join him in his hotel room, his attitude changed and she was dropped from the show soon after. Walsh says she’s speaking out now because she was told by a NY Times reporter that many of O’Reilly’s alleged victims have gag orders. “Nobody can silence me because my voice is not for sale,” Walsh said. “Nobody can buy my voice.” After the release of the NY Times report this weekend, O’Reilly said he’s “put to rest any controversies” to keep his kids from being embarrassed. In other words, he’s claiming that he’s just been trying to avoid smear campaigns. Do you believe him? WENN

The Voice Recap: Who Was Cut?

The battles continued on the most recent episode of The Voice, and as you could probably expect, the episode was filled with drama.  Getting to this stage of the competition, the artists know how cutthroat things can be, but who lost their place with their coach? Did they get snapped up by another coach? It is time to run down the battles… Josh Hoyer vs. TSOUL Josh went up against TSOUL as they performed “In The Midnight Hour” by Wilson Pickett. It was a surprisingly eye-opening performance.  It proved Josh’s voice was very monotonous and that he would not go much further in the competition. It was sad, but it was true.  As always, TSOUL continued to hit the high notes and proved why he deserved to be in the competition.  Winner: TSOUL Autumn Turner vs. Vanessa Ferguson Autumn and Vanessa went with “Killing Me Softly” by Roberta Flack, They have the type of voice that would work well in a duet, but they had to go against one another to ensure they lived another day in the competition.  Both of them have distinctly different voices, but they were both beautiful to listen to. Ultimately, Vanessa beats out the competition, but that did not mean Autumn’s game was over.  Adam Levine stepped up to poach her for his side.  Winner: Vanessa Ferguson Steal: Autumn Turner Johnny Hayes vs. Julien Martinez Johnny and Julien were practically the same in terms of vocal range. You would think you were listening to the same person.  The pair went head-to-head by singing “Hard to Handle” by Otis Redding. The judges felt like Julien was not as into the performance as much as Johnny and that cost him his place in the competition.  Winner : Johnny Hayes Caroline Sky vs. Stephanie Rice “The First Cut is the Deepest” by Cat Stevens is a song that can get the attention of anyone. It’s a tragic song about love.  Caroline and Stephanie floundered with this performance, and it made us question whether both of them were going to get the boot.  Thankfully, they both lived another day as the coaches were able to look past this dud of a performance.  Winner:  Stephanie Rice Steal : Caroline Sky to Team Blake Kawan DeBose vs. Malik Davage Kawan and Malik went head-to-head with “Love me Now” by John Legend, but the two men had to perform the number in front of Mr. Legend.  That’s something that would scare anyone. What if they screwed the performance up? With both men getting praise from the coaches, it was difficult to judge who was making it through to the next stage.  Unfortunately for Kawan, he was sent home.  Winner : Malik Dawage Hunter Plake vs. Jack Cassidy Hunter came out roaring tonight in his performance against Jack Cassidy. The pair duked it out to “Dancing On My Own” by Robyn.  Hunter improved somewhat from his most recent performance, while Jack turned in more of the same.  The surprising thing was that Jack won. Luckily, Hunter was sent over to Team Gwen.  Winner:  Jack Cassidy Steal: Hunter Plake What did you think of all the developments? Sound off below! Lena Dunham Debuts Boob Tattoo Inspired By Rihanna

There are word combinations you never expect to type, and then there’s “Lena Dunham Debuts Boob Tattoo Inspired By Rihanna.” You might be tempted to decry such a headline as that “fake news” you keep hearing about: A bald-faced attempt to highlight the more ridiculous aspects of Millennial culture in an effort to work the #MAGA crowd into a greater fury than anti-incest laws and every second of this year’s Oscars combined.  But we assure you, this is no alt-right Pepe-ganda (though we are  in the process of developing tastes for Tolstoy and straight Stoli in order to make nice with our future overlords), and the self-proclaimed Voice of Her Generation really did copy RiRi’s underboob ink . Lena posted the pic above today, along with a caption that reads: “Thank you @trinegrimm for my warrior’s chest plate/tit chandelier. This is my first original piece by a female tattoo artist and it felt sacred and cool and she didn’t chide me for copying @badgalriri’s placement. “If you’re ever in Oslo, go meet this metal queen and let her handle your body.” Look, we’re gonna go ahead and play Dunham’s advocate here. For starters, we’re willing to giver her a pass on a lot of things this week, as “American Bitch” might have been Girls’ strongest episode to date, and it actually addressed a topical issue in a unique way. (It might have worked better as a standalone project, but that’s a discussion for another time.) On top of that – we’ve been there. We’ll admit to seeing a celebrity rock a certain look and (perhaps during a tipsy online shopping spree) deciding to give it a shot ourselves. There was a time when Johnny Depp was cool enough to make male fashion scarves cool, and like other tragedies throughout history, we shouldn’t bury it simply because we can’t make sense of it. So Lena saw Rihanna rocking some boob-bunting and figured she’d try to pull it off, too. As long as she doesn’t start taking racy blunt smoke selfies and using the word “pon,” we can chalk this up to loving emulation and not Single White Female-esque imitation. Besides, if this is the worst thing Lena Dunham did this week, then it was really a hell of a week. It’s not like she publicly wished she had an abortion or attempted to convince the world that her cellulite is a global feminist issue . Lena is like Trump: If seven days go by and she doesn’t make us seriously doubt our mental health or wonder if we’re living in the Upside-Down like Barb, we kinda feel like we owe her a thank you letter. We’d like to tell you that we’ll one day write an article about Lena without comparing her to Trump, but the #FakeNews has gone far enough, dammit!

Christina Grimmie: Family Thanks Fans for Support in Heartbreaking Statement

Will there ever be a time when simply hearing Christina Grimmie’s name doesn’t bring a tear to your eye and an ache to your heart. Honestly, probably not. Christina was just 22 years old, all set to be a huge pop star, when she was murdered after a concert in Orlando . A man named Kevin Loibl — who, by several accounts, was very unhealthily obsessed with Christina — approached her while she was signing autographs and shot her. Her brother Marcus was able to wrestle Loibl to the ground, but the shooter quickly turned his gun on himself. To call it a nightmare would be a huge understatement, obviously, but the nightmare continues on to this day: the Grimmie family is in the middle of a legal battle against the entertainment company that owns the venue where Christina died. The issue, the Grimmies believe, was that the venue didn’t have appropriate security in place to protect the performers, or anyone, really. And that’s a fair point, considering Loibl was able to waltz in with two handguns. It must be terrible for her family to have to deal with a legal battle along with their unimaginable grief, but one thing is for sure: Christina’s fans are, to this day, a source of comfort for them. And they said as much in a touching message shared to Christina’s Twitter account. See, Christina won a Teen Choice Award last July — she was named Choice Web Star in the Music category. Her fans took issue with the show at the time, since Christina’s award wasn’t announced during the broadcast of the awards show. In fact, her name wasn’t mentioned even once . It seemed like a pretty big oversight, considering that the Teen Choice Awards aired just a month after her murder. When you consider that they also included an entire tribute dedicated to victims of gun violence and their surviving family members, still with no mention of Christina … yeah, her fans were upset. But it seems like after all these months, the Teen Choice Awards pulled it together long enough to get Christina’s award to her family. About time, right? Her parents shared the picture of the award: Along with the photo, they thanked “#TeanGrimmie” for helping them finally get the award. “Your commitment to Christina’s legacy and making your voice heard online is a blessing to us,” they wrote. “We also acknowledge those who supported behind the scenes to make this a reality.” “Thank you with love!” And Christina’s fans were quick to share their ongoing support. “She deserved this more than anyone else,” one person commented, and another said “We won’t let her be forgotten.” View Slideshow: Christina Grimmie Shooting Death: Stars Pay Tribute to The Voice Alum One fan wrote “I’m so happy. Christina deserved that award and I’m sure she is smiling in heaven. God bless all.” We’re not crying. You’re crying.
