I’m Nicole and I’m really excited that I’m…

See the article here:

I’m Nicole and I’m really excited that I’m finally writing My Bieber Experience. Hopefully I don’t sound arrogant, but I’m not going to lie and say that I never thought I’d meet Justin, because I knew I would eventually since Justin says to never give up on your dreams! On the day of January 23rd, 2013 my biggest dream finally came true. On that day not only did I meet Justin Drew Bieber, I met Alfredo Flores, Scooter Braun and Kenny Hamilton aka my faves. It was a crazy journey that started at about noon that day when my cousin and I arrived at Philips Arena. We were literally one of the only maybe 5 people there. We looked around and spotted where the buses were but couldn’t get down to them. A girl told us that Kenny was at a hotel down the street eating lunch so we decided to go there. We sat in the lobby and my friend Alexis met up with us. That’s when her and I realized we both had the same idea to sneak into the m&g with fake wristbands. As we waited Justin tweeted: “now heading to the arena here in ATL. #BELIEVEtour” and Alexis said she knew how to get down to where the buses were! We all went down to where Carly, Cody and all the buses were and we were the only people there, and Justin was on his way! Cody Simpson walked right by us and said hi, he was heading to his meet and greet so he didn’t have time to take pictures. Then Alexis’ dad who was up at the arena said they were starting to let people in for the m&g and even though I was nervous, I just had to do it. It was the biggest YOLO moment of my life. They said it was the last call for the meet and greets. We ran up there and I went first, the lady saw my wristband and checked my purse and then a man checked it and we were in. We stood in line to go to the room for the meet and greet and Kenny Hamilton walks right by us. We were literally the only ones that noticed him. We said hi to him and asked him for a photo but he was in a rush so he couldn’t. The line started moving, we went down some stairs and we got into the basketball court where is where they hold the m&gs. During that time we tried to get Scooter and Kenny’s attention but we took a creeper photo with them in the back. Soon enough we were next to meet Justin. The security asked us if it was just is three and we said yeah so he pulled us off to the side so he could find someone for us to go in with. As we’re standing there, Alfredo Flores pops his head out of the curtain and we’re like, “Fredo, come here! We have gifts for you!” He came over to us smiling like an angel and Alexis gave him his gift. I gave him the snapback that I custom made that had “BEASTMODE” on it. He looked at it and smiled and was like, “This is so awesome, thank you!” We asked him for a photo and he was like, “I’ll be right back, hold up!” He goes back in the curtain and then comes back out a few minutes later WEARING THE HAT I GAVE HIM and is like, “Okay, lets do this!” Then I was like, “Alfredo, can you give this hat (a custom made snapback that says ‘dope’) to Justin for me please?” and he smiles and takes the hat and he’s like “Of course!” Then it was our turn to meet Justin and we went in the tent and Alfredo smiled at me and said, “Here, give Justin the hat!” and I was like, “Can I?” because you normally can’t directly give him gifts. I got the hat from Alfredo and I just see Justin right in front of me and it’s my turn. I say to him, “Justin, I got you this hat” and he smiles and takes it and said, “This is amazing, thank you so much.” Literally all I remember after that was standing next to him and his voice. His voice was so raspy and low in person, it was gorgeous. Justin put his arm on my back and I put my hand on his waist and we took the photo. Right before I left the meet and greet, I put my arm around Justin’s waist one more time, half-hugged him and told him I loved him. When we left, Scooter Braun was right there so we thanked him for everything and at that point I couldn’t breathe and I was at the verge of tears. It was literally the best day of my life. I went onto my Twitter and I was barely able to type it but I tweeted I met Justin and my mentions and texts blew up. About 30 minutes or so after that, Alfredo tweeted Alexis and I that he loved meeting both of us, he’s literally SO sweet. About a week or so after I met Justin and Alfredo, Alfredo tweeted a photo and he was wearing the hat I gave him. I was freaking out, it meant a lot to me that he really liked it and was wearing it on a regular day of his life! Since then Alfredo has worn my hat NUMEROUS times and I’m thankful. I feel so blessed that it happened, it was literally the best day of my life and just thinking about it brings such a smile to my face because Justin means so much to me. If you’ve never met Justin, don’t give up and make it happen! I went out there and made it happen for myself, so I know you can too. Just never say never and believe! -Nicole (@1256ams)  Here is the original post: I’m Nicole and I’m really excited that I’m…

Fawk A Dumb Thug: Brooklyn Man Sentenced To 25-To-Life After Bragging “Ville Up Hoe!” On Facebook After Murking HS Hoops Star

This guy deserves to rot in a cell. The family of young woman who was a promising Harlem HS hoops star is finally seeing some justice for her murder two years ago. Via NY Post reports : A young thug was sent silent and sullen to prison today for the random Harlem murder of high school basketball star Tayshana “Chicken” Murphy — instead, his vile Facebook posting from an hour after the shooting spoke for him. “Ville up hoe,” Tyshawn Brockington, 23, had snarled online, a reference to Manhattanville Houses, which was at war with Murphy’s Grant Houses, leaving her as a bloody, innocent casualty in her building’s fourth floor stairwell two years ago. By “Ville up,” the killer had meant that in Murphy’s death, Manhattanville had just notched a one-up victory in the two projects’ senseless war, prosecutors explained. And “Hoe” was the killer’s final blow to the stranger who was his victim — again senseless given her undisputed virtues as a sister, daughter, friend and athlete. “Killing her was not enough,” prosecutor Jeffrey Levinson said of Brockington at the emotional Manhattan Supreme Court sentencing. “He has to call her a pr0stitute, or a sl*t, or a wh*re.” The judge, too, decried Brockington’s Facebook posting before giving him a 25-to-life sentence, the maximum allowed. “Certainly the vile comment – “Ville up hoe” — made an hour later, showed some kind of abhorrent pride in what he had accomplished,” said Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Thomas Farber. Four rows of the fallen basketball stars’ family members, friends and coaches attended the emotional sentencing. “You took her breath,” mom Tephanie Holston said in a victim impact statement, her voice dignified but quavering as she faced her daughter’s murderer. “She wasn’t yours.” Murphy, a senior at Murry Bergtraum High School, had been considered one of the country’s top female point guards. Her dream was to make it big — by shattering the gender barrier in the NBA, the prosecutor said. “She set her sights on playing with the NBA with the men… and she made the promise that once she got there, she was going to bring everybody with her,” he said. Watching the trial had been painful, said the judge. “This is about young people killing other young people. And this is really really tragic to me,” he said. “Sitting through the trial, and watching the videos and thinking about these two housing projects … What could that be,” he said of the bloody rivalries between the two projects, “other than some desire to create a sense of self worth by creating a sense of otherness against people who should be your brothers and sisters. “That to me is incredibly tragic,” he added. “Those bullets ended your life in a significant way as well,” judge told the perp. “I try never to sentence out of vengeance,” he said. “We’re desperately in need of kinship rather than otherness. But I can’t impose in in a case like this any sentence other than the maximum sentence.” Two lives have been effectively lost to gun violence: an 18-year-old girl who died far too young, and a 23-year-old man, who could spend the rest of his life in prison for her murder,” said Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance, Jr., in a written statement issued after the sentencing. “My office will continue to work with communities across Manhattan to put an end to the gang and gun violence that was one of the contributing factors to Ms. Murphy’s untimely death.” SMH. Stop the violence! When you’re young it’s easy to get caught up in gang and turf BS but that ish truly ain’t what life is about. Now this dummy will be spending the rest of his life in jail and this family is without a loved one. Continue reading

On Tuesday night, Holly Tucker was eliminated from The Voice . Soon afterward Joey Guerra – music critic for The Houston Chronicle – Tweeted the following: “#TheVoice sends one singer back to Texas. Don’t worry, it’s not the one we care about.” And soon after that , Blake Shelton stuck up for his ousted team member. “It’s people like you @joeyguerra that make me sick,” the country star wrote. “Holly is not only a talented singer but a great person that’s simply chasing a dream.” And he didn’t stop there, adding via Twitter: “How about you @joeyguerra grow some balls and come tell me to my face how terrible some of these kids are face to face..? You won’t. Ever. You @joeyguerra are a chicken siit. I can’t stand a person that makes a point to write hurtful things about kids just trying their best. “I swear to god I cant understand the mentality of a grown man ripping on young kids over and over again for just trying their hardest. Kids! How much do y’all wanna bet he’d NEVER criticize my team OR me like that face to face…. Chicken s–t.” Blake them calmed down a bit and concluded his rant with: “I’m sorry for going off y’all… But I am passionate about encouraging young people to follow their dreams..
