If you watched this week's episode of Teen Mom 2, then you know that Kailyn Lowry did not have a good time. Far from it, actually. She and Javi got into a nasty fight when he showed up at the house a little early and found her with another man. The man, we've heard, was a longtime friend of Kailyn's who recently became something more, so it wasn't like she was entertaining random dudes. But Javi felt like he was being deceived. and so they got into an argument that resulted in a meltdown on the driveway. Sadly, Kailyn's kids were present for the fight. And as Jo Rivera sees it, that was not OK. In this sneak peek of next week's new episode, we see Jo sitting down with Kailyn to talk about what happened. He's understanding, and surprisingly mature, but he's still firm. “We're all adults. We should be acting like adults,” he says. Jo, showing some wisdom — who would have thought ?! He also says that he plans on sitting down with Javi and having a discussion about what went down, so that he can let him know it wasn't cool. “This can't happen with our kids,” he tells her. “You can break them. This is like make or break.” Watch Jo give Kailyn some real talk in the video below!
It’s been three months since Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo got married , which means that by Duggar standards, they’re about two months and twenty-nine days overdue for a pregnancy announcement. We kid, of course. Modern Duggar women are permitted to enjoy married life for a while before they get knocked up – and by “a while,” we mean like 8 to 10 months. So it should come as no surprise that Jinge and Jer are already speaking publicly about their plans to start a family. The couple spoke with People magazine about married life in a recent interview, and of course, Jinger was asked about when we can expect her to be expecting. After a honeymoon in Australia , the Vuolos have settled in Laredo, Texas, where Jeremy was living before he and Jinger met. Not surprisingly (like Scientologists, Duggars aren’t allowed to express negative emotions), Jinger says they’re both loving married life, and she’s adjusted to her new city with ease. “We have just so perfectly adapted, it’s been incredible,” she tells the magazine. “The biggest blessing.” Jinger is the first member of her family to permanently relocate outside of Arkansas, but she says she hasn’t found living so far from the Duggar compound to be as difficult as she’d imagined it would be. “We FaceTime, and there’s always a family group message sharing what’s going on,” says Jinger, 23. “It’s been joyous.” She adds that visits are just “a flight away.” Jinger concedes that she misses her family, but also says that she’s made friends easily in Laredo. “I’ve definitely connected with the ladies here, and they have been so gracious,” she tells People. Of course, the big question on everyone’s mind is: when will Jinger get pregnant ? On that subject, the 23-year-old decided to play it a little coy: “We are just enjoying our life together,” says Jinger, adding: “We will see what the Lord does.” Okay, so not a ton of new information, but the fact that she’s willing to discuss pregnancy (In promotional interviews like this, the questions are usually vetted in advance.) means the topic is very much on her mind. We imagine the Duggar gals feel a lot of pressure to reproduce, what with coming from a family that’s famous almost exclusively for its fertility. Not only is Jinger expected to pop out a baby ASAP, she’s expected to do so in the public eye. That’s gotta put a bit of a damper on those heady early months of marriage. Need a break from all the horrible, awful, completely depressing news that’s been dominating the media for the past couple days? Want to just hear about something nice for once, maybe something about love and romance and positivity? Well, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have given an interview about their November 5th wedding ceremony . So, you know, close enough. According to Jeremy, “It was a dream come true” getting married to Jinger. “We’ve been counting down the hours until this day,” he said. Jeremy began courting Jinger in June, so they’ve waited five entire months from the time they began dating to getting married. That’s a whole lot of hours when all you can do is side-hug. As for Jinger, she was so excited about the wedding that “I told the girls I need the bridemaids to enter behind me because I thought I would collapse when I saw him.” Even though Jinger and Jeremy have been playing a little fast and loose with the Duggar’s traditional views on courtship — chaperones always, boning never — they still saved their very first kiss for their wedding day. If a Duggar can’t kiss someone until she’s married to him, and if Jinger’s never been married, this should mean that this kiss was not only her first kiss with Jeremy, but her first kiss period. Yeah, if you thought your first kiss with your awkward middle school boyfriend in his parents’ damp, smelly basement was rough, try doing it Duggar-style, in a formal ceremony with nearly 1,000 people watching. Still, Jinger says “I wasn’t nervous at all. I couldn’t wait for it. It’s like he couldn’t say it soon enough.” Hey, girl, you get yours. About the couple, Jinger’s mother, Michelle Duggar revealed that “They really balance each other out.” “Jeremy is a strong leader, and Jinger is such a gentle people person and a great follower.” Aww, come on, Michelle, fight the patriarchy. Or at least fight the urge to give out dumb “compliments” about your daughter being a good follower. And hey, if you’re one of those people that like to hear details about the actual wedding itself and not just the couple, well then, come. You’re among your own here. You know that beautiful dress Jinger wore ? That was hand-beaded lace, and it came complete with a train that was 13 feet long. The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and the couple chose an autumn-inspired color palette. Specifically, the colors were “burnt orange, eggplant, and olive,” and according to the wedding planner, “the idea was to bring the outdoors in.” For the reception, guests munched on picked okra, meatballs, and cheese and crackers, and the wedding cake was a “naked cake” — a vanilla cake covered with berries. Jinger and Jeremy left the reception in a vintage Jaguar. It actually sounds like kind of a nice wedding, right? Or at least it sounds a little milder than what we’d expect from this family. We’ll get to see soon enough whether or not this was whole affair was as classy as it sounds, because TLC has promised a wedding special that’s set to air next week . The Duggars: they really are the gift that keeps on giving, huh? View Slideshow: Jinger Duggar-Jeremy Vuolo Engagement Photos!

After a whirlwind courtship even by her family’s standards, Counting On star Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo got married on Saturday. Jinger’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, confirmed the wedding news with a short video on the family’s official website November 5. See their announcement below! Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Wedding Announcement “We are so excited for Jinger and Jeremy … they just got married and they are such a sweet couple,” proud father Jim Bob said afterward. “Jinger is one of the most dynamic, beautiful, Godly girls that I know, and Jeremy is such a passionate, loving, kind spiritual leader.” “Match made in heaven.” Smiling by her husband’s side as always, Michelle Duggar added in the brief video, “Congratulations, Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo!” “We love you guys!” Jinger’s older sister Jessa Duggar also shared a congratulatory message, posting the Instagram picture above of the smiling newlyweds. “Ahhhhhh! So happy for my sister and brother-in-law! The wedding was beautiful!” Jessa wrote, teasing a photo of the happy spouses. And plugging JingerAndJeremy (dot) com, it would appear. True love is great, but the Duggars are an enterprising bunch, aren’t they? In any event, the couple tied the knot in front of their closest friends and family members at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Ark. The Counting On tandem got engaged in July of this year, just one month after they announced they were officially a courting couple. Jinger and Jeremy’s courtship raised more than a few eyebrows from the very beginning, given the breakneck pace they were seemingly on. So intense was the talk of the couple going ham and breaking courtship rules that there was even a Jinger Duggar pregnant rumors. That, of course, was bogus. But given that they’re now husband and wife, we would not be shocked if they got around to that promptly. In announcing their engagement this summer, the pair said in a statement, “So excited to share this news that we are now engaged.” “From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship.” “It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days,” Jinger added. “We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together.” At 22, Jinger Duggar Vuolo is the sixth oldest of Jim Bob and Michelle’s 19 kids, behind Josh, Jana, John David, Jill and Jessa Duggar. Interestingly, twins Jana and John David, 26, are the only two of the six who have not been in a serious relationship (that we know of). Jill and Jessa got married in 2014 and 2015, respectively, and frequently commented on how Jinger’s courtship was fast, and different. The TLC mainstay plans to move from her hometown of Tontitown, Arkansas, to Laredo, Texas, after the wedding to work with Vuolo. An ordained pastor, the former soccer pro has devoted his life to his ministry, something that Jinger’s family undoubtedly approves of. Despite Jim Bob’s ridiculous demands and attempts to control the two, he can’t really complain; Vuolo seems like a stand-up dude. Of Jeremy, Jinger said that he was the answer to her prayers. “I asked God for this in a future spouse,” she recalled earlier this year. “He has done far and above anything I could have ever imagined or dreamed in bringing Jeremy into my life,” she gushed. There’s patriarchy, and then there’s whatever the hell the Duggars have going on. If you watch Counting On online , you know that Jim Bob and Michelle have a tried and true method for ensuring that their kids don’t engage in any pre-marital … … well, anything ! Jim Bob in particular guards his daughters like expensive pieces of property because he somehow got the impression that the Bible wants him to. We think it was in the book of Douche-ronomy. #BibleBurn The Duggars believe it’s their sacred duty to populate the Earth with as many Duggars as possible. An odd mission, considering they can’t even keep the kids they have from molesting people, but they seem to take it pretty seriously. In fact, they’ve devised a clever system: By ensuring that their offspring are beyond sexually frustrated by the time they get married, Jim Bob and Michelle know they’ll immediately begin copulating like it’s going out of style as soon as they get hitched! Foolproof, right?! It’s called “courting,” and it may be the only aspect of their lives in which the Arkansas family believes in equality. In other words, it sounds like the process of getting to know a significant other is equally hellish for both participants. At this point, the Duggars are almost as famous for their courtship methods as they are for their scandals and their fertility, and new information about this odd custom seems to emerge every few months or so. If you watched last week’s episode of Counting On , you may have picked up on a seriously WTF detail of the Duggars’ courtship process: It seems Jim Bob makes his daughters’ potential suitors fill out a 50-page questionnaire before they commence with the courtship process! This disturbing nugget of information was revealed during the Counting On after show (because every freakin’ show has an after-show in the world of #PeakTV). JB casually mentioned the document while being interviewed by producer Scott Enlow. “I’m sorry, wait a second Jim Bob made you guys fill out questionnaires?” Enlow asked, prompting an eruption of nervous laughter from daughter Jessa Duggar. “I think that questionnaire is pretty thorough,” she interjected. “He is not kidding,” Jill Duggar confirmed. “Everybody did the 30-page questionnaire,” Jill added, noting that it had expanded to 50 pages in recent years. Fifty. Pages. Apparently, the questionnaire primarily focused on the respondents’ religious beliefs and how they pertain to their lifestyle. Jeremy Vuolo, who recently got engaged to Jinger Duggar , and has often been accused of breaking courtship rules, stated: “The major question, where I spent most of my time was ”tell me about how you became a Christian, how you came to the Lord.'” View Slideshow: 13 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family Yeah, we’re pretty sure Jesus was big on judging other people and grilling them about their religious beliefs. Or maybe not. What do we know? Now that we think about it, we’ve never had to take a 50-page test about our religious convictions before. Hmm …
Someone named Cameron Dallas owes Jessica Alba a major apology. The quasi celebrity tried to make a name for himself at the 2016 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, accepting the surfboard for Social Media King and then trying to be all witty afterward. Playing a quick (and random) game of “Would You Rather” backstage, Dallas was asked whose toothbrush he would prefer to use, that of Justin Timberlake or that of Jessica Alba. He chose Justin Timberlake. Which, you know, sure, whatever, cool, fine. But then he gave his reasoning for this selection. “I would honestly choose Justin Timberlake just because I don’t know where Jessica’s been,” Dallas says, just trying to make a joke, we guess. But what kind of joke is that?!? The kind where Jessica Alba is all gross and promiscuous?!? Not that she needs our defense in any way, shape or form, but for the record: Alba has been married to Cash Warren since 2008. She has two kids with her husband. There has not been a single rumor of infidelity in their eight-plus years of marriage. But whatever. Who is Cameron Dallas to make any sort of disparaging remark about any woman’s sexual past no matter what?!? Making this matter even worse? Alba led a tribute at the Teen Choice Awards to the victims of gun violence across America. So while Cameron Dallas was being a sexist fool, Jessica Alba was being an inspiring activist, as you can see below. Teen Choice Awards Stop to Honor Victims of Gun Violence @camerondallas what gives you the idea that it’s okay to slut shame Jessica Alba on live tv. Your publicist will have fun with this one. – @dacissej And the Internet took notice. Here are a handful of reactions to Dallas’ unfunny joke: I’m offended on behalf of Jessica Alba after hearing Cameron Dallas at the #TeenChoiceAwards #TeenChoice – @kelseyncastro @camerondallas what gives you the idea that it’s okay to slut shame Jessica Alba on live tv. Your publicist will have fun with this one. – @dacissej Where has @jessicaalba been, @camerondallas? Running a multi-million dollar company and raising a family. Punk. – @lindsayraedenn Clearly aware of all the backlash he was receiving, Dallas jumped on Twitter last night and wrote the following: Yo it was literally a joke, I love @jessicaalba and would share a toothbrush with her till I die lol. Really thankful for the message @jessicaalba spoke tonight, that’s what we should focus on. Yes, we know it was a joke. And we don’t doubt you are sorry, dude. But it was a joke rooted in sexism. That’s the entire point.
It’s been less than a week since we first learned that Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are engaged , but relationships move fast in Duggar land. After all, a woman only has so many child-bearing years, and this planet’s not gonna overpopulate itself, right? The engagement came just weeks after the first reports that Jinger and Jeremy were courting , and now it looks as though they’ll waste no time in getting to the altar. The couple has been tight-lipped with regard to specifics for a number of good reasons. For starters, they don’t want scores of uninvited Duggar obsessives pulling a Vince Vaughn-Owen Wilson routine. (Yes, that was our very awkward way of saying they hope to avoid wedding crashers.) Additionally, the preparations for the wedding will reportedly be a major focus of Jill & Jessa: Counting On Season 2 , and Jinger and Jeremy have likely been instructed to avoid giving too much away on social media. But naturally, the Duggar faithful have been doing some sleuthing with regard to the JinJer wedding, and the consensus seems to be that there’s a good chance Jinger will buck family tradition by not getting married in Arkansas. In fact, it’s possible she and her husband may settle in the Northeast once they’re hitched. First there was this video posted by Jeremy on YouTube last week: Jeremy Vuolo Talks Wedding Plans He never says anything about having the wedding north of the Mason-Dixon Line (Vuolo is from Philadelphia originally.), but he’s in Jersey and he’s talking about planning the wedding, which is all it took for some fans to jump to conclusions. Then there’s Jinger’s well-documented love of New York City. A fan of coffee, fashion and photography, Jinger has spoken about her love of New York and her desire to one day reside in the Big Apple. To the surprise of absolutely no one, her parents are less than thrilled by the idea: “New York City is way above what we would ever consider a city where she should move,” Michelle Duggar replied when asked about her daughters Carrie Bradshaw dreams. “Jinger didn’t mean she wanted to move to New York City. She meant that she wants to live closer to a city. We’re talking right near a city, but not New York City. Jinger means she wanted to live 15 minutes from a Wal-Mart. “We live so far out of town on 20 acres, but Jinger wants to live closer to town, so she doesn’t have to drive so far to go shopping.” Sounds like the Duggars share Ted Cruz’s views on “New York values.” Of course, they also believe that women should be subservient to their spouses, so if Jeremy wants to stick close to home, Jinger may get her wish after all.
