The Walking Dead Recap: Another Power Struggle Sets Up Lauren Cohan’s Exit

Building a better community is no easy task, and Rick learned the hard way on Sunday’s episode that he was not going to be able to blend these communities in the way he hoped.  The episode was all about the revival of the bridge which was obliterated thanks to a storm. Without access, it was difficult to make supply runs, so it had to be fixed.  While Aaron and Daryl were chatting as the communities rallied to fix the bridge, a fight broke out between Henry and a Savior named Justin.  Henry was tasked with giving water in exchange for hard labor, and Justin did not want to play by the rules. But Henry proved that there would always be a punishment, so he knocked the man off his feet with a stick.  As expected, it resulted in a full-on battle between everyone on the bridge. Rick arrived and was unimpressed that these people could not work together to secure the future of the blended community.  Daryl continued to have doubts and told Rick that the Saviors would actually be an asset to them down the line if they’re already causing trouble.  Daryl left the scene immediately when Rick defended why they were doing it, and it was down to Carol to let Rick know that he might be dreaming if he thinks any of this is going to work.  Tensions were still high at the Hilltop following Gregory’s well-deserved execution. Tami Rose was not allowed to see her husband Earl for his involvement in the plot to kill Maggie.  It didn’t stop Tami from trying to get more people on her side to turn against Maggie. The true shocker was that Jesus was not fully on board with Maggie.  “I don’t know if she hanged Gregory for everyone, for herself or both,” he shared, “but I’m not against a grieving mother seeing her husband.” Instead of fully turning against his friend, Jesus went to Maggie to find out where her head was truly at. He admitted that she was going way too far by ostracizing Earl and that there would be some pushback. These decisions were ballsy, according to him.  This gave Maggie some food for thought, and she agreed to let Tami Rose visit her husband. Once his wife was gone, Earl got a visit from Maggie who wanted to know more about him.  Earl was desperate to know why Gregory was the one who was killed, but Maggie skirted around giving an answer. It turns out; she wants to hold her cards close to her chest.  “What I did to you was in me,” Earl confessed. “Gregory didn’t make me do anything.” Okay then.  Things took a wild turn when thanks to a siren not being sounded, the walkers showed up at the bridge, and the unarmed Saviors were sitting ducks.  Jed was scared to death, and let go of the rope he was holding … allowing all of the lumber to crash down and trap Aaron’s arm. Rick managed to dispatch of most of the walkers, but there was no saving Aaron’s arm.  Daryl tried to make sense of what went down and opted to blame Justin. He was supposed to sound a siren to send the walkers away, but he didn’t.  His defense?  The walkie-talkie was dead, and Daryl was not buying it. He went all in kept hitting the kid before Carol showed up to tell him to quit the BS.  Back at the Hilltop, Maggie and Michonne got into it over the recent decisions.  “We can talk about common laws, but I’m not giving up the right to do what I think is s best for my people,” Maggie said to her friend.  They continued to bicker, and Maggie relented that she did not regret wiping Gregory out because he was a danger to everyone.  Meanwhile, Justin continued to prove he was a loser when he lashed out at Rick, trying to throw all the blame on him for what went down.  “Stitches won’t fix what I do to you,” Rick yelled after telling him to get the eff out of the Sanctuary.  As for Aaron? He did not blame Rick for losing an arm. Instead, he said that his friend was a beacon of hope.  “You changed all that, Rick. It’s not the end of the world anymore; it’s the start a whole new one,” he said.  Rick closed off the hour by visiting his nemesis, Negan.  “It was a hard day,” Rick said. “People were at each other’s throats… [But] when the day was done, they came together. Not all of ’em. But enough.” “That’s a real pretty picture you paint there,” Negan responded. “When do I get to see it?” “You’re gonna die behind these bars,” Rick snapped.  In all honesty, if the likes of Jesus is worried about Maggie, then there’s a good chance she’s going to be relieved of her duties before long.  That could lead to her running off with her child or worse; she could be killed off. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 4 Recap: Bachelorette Boat Ride From Hell

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 4 featured some emotional sit downs, an unexpected guest, and the party boat ride from hell. Which Bravolebrities were involved in which development(s)? Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 4 Online Picking up where we left off last week, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 8 Episode 4 found Kenya trying to mend fences with Sheree. While that relationship showed some (we didn’t say much) potential for growth, another was falling apart at the seams: Porsha and Duke. When the Duke was MIA for their Skype “date,” Porsha confided in Phaedra Parks, who was quick to tell her what she felt was going on. “If he is not building you up, honey, he’s like a dead weight around your neck,” her co-star enlightened her. “Everything runs its course.” She seemed to see the light, as well … after she threw an insane party to introduce him to all of her friends, but better late than never? Elsewhere, the pregnant Kandi Burruss and Cynthia Bailey met up for a rather serious conversation about love, business and marriage. Both when have had their marital issues, as you know if you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online . Will Cynthia’s union last? We’re left with a glimmer of hope, albeit a very slight glimmer. On to happier topics, Kim Fields dropped by Phaedra’s so their kids could have a play date, and give them a chance to interact on camera. The women bonded about what Kim’s “boobage” at Kenya’s hair care launch party, and finding their own identities, separate from family. She did not have to wait long, because Kenya decided to throw a bachelorette party for Cynthia on a boat … yes, you read that correctly. View Slideshow: The Real Housewives Cast Shake-Ups: Who’s In? Who’s Out? Given that Cynthia is already married, and unhappily to boot, we have no earthly idea how this qualifies, but a bachelorette boat ride it is. On hand were Kenya, Cynthia, Kim, Kandi, Porsha, Posha’s pal Shamea and Cynthia’s friend Tammy, who is BFFs with Sheree’s ex Bob. Soon enough, the laid back vibes faded as Kenya took Porsha to task for bringing Shamea without asking, then got into it with Shamea. Fortunately, we did not see Porsha Williams beat down Kenya Moore a second time, but the latter did make threats against her friend. “I’m going to have the captain escort you off my boat. This is my party,” Kenya told Shamea. “If you want to take the shortcut, you can jump.” Was it not Cynthia’s bachelorette party? Just trying to clarify here . There was also a convo in which Tammy described her husband as “Nazi white” and hounded Kandi about working with her rapper son. It was an interesting day on the boat, and that was before Porsha said, “Whatever, Bitch,” to Cynthia during a moderately tense exchange. Bailey lost her mind, and while Porsha insisted she was using the word as a term of endearment, a heated Cynthia took it as an insult. Next week’s previews show Porsha on the ground, being held down by the production crew, so this one clearly escalates pretty quickly. Tune in next week to see how we get from Point A to Point B!

The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 8 Recap: Is It Safe?

We opened  The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 8 with with Sam in his room, listening to “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” and coloring a picture of himself tied to a tree, surrounded by monsters.  Watch The Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 8 Online Outside, meanwhile, the walkers’ appearance at least put a dent in Ron’s plan to murder Carl. But this invasion also led Eugene (stuck in shock, uttering “help”), Tara and Rosita to end up hiding out as a trio; while Carol and Morgan were also together; and Rick, Deanna, Carl, Ron, Michonne and Gabriel took refuge at Jessie’s place. So now the scene is set. There was also Glenn. He watched the walkers flood the east wall and deduced that he an Enid ought to make their attack from the west wall. At Jessie’s, Michonne discovered that Deanna had been bitten, while Carol (suffering from a concussion) was forced to trust Morgan. View Slideshow: The Walking Dead Cast: Before They Were Stars… While they waited for Deanna to unfortunately turn, Rick explained to Jessie that he had a plan. He would lead the walkers away the first chance he could. At the same time, Michonne tried to assure Deanna that her blueprint for Alexandria’s future could still work. Really, it could! Over in the garage, Rick and Jessie intervened after Ron tried to get his nemesis killed by attracting as many walkers as he could. But Carl covered for Ron and then redeemed himself by ordering the psycho to give him the gun. “Your dad was an a–hole,” Carl told Ron, trying to help him move on. From there, Rick went to check on Judith and found Deanna, crumpled eerily over the crib. He was just about to kill her when she blurted out that she was alright. Knowing that the end was near, though, she gave Rick notes for Maggie and Spencer, asking him to look out for her child the way he does for all his people… especially since they now were all his people. Great stuff. How did the midseason finale come to an end? With Rick dressing everyone in walker-gore-soaked sheets and having them make a run to the armory. Once Carol got away from Morgan, she went straight to kill Wolf with a knife. But Morgan caught up with her and knocked her out… and then The Wolf knocked Morgan out and was just about to slit Denise’s throat when Eugene, Tara and Rosita busted in. Denise’s life was therefore spared, but she ended up as The Wolf’s hostage. Finally, as you’ll see when you watch The Walking Dead online , Rick and company started making their way out of her house; Glenn caught a glimpse of Maggie; Deanna killed a few walkers as her final acts; and it appeared as if Sam was about to have a meltdown that could get his whole group killed.
