Kanye West to Collaborate with Taylor Swift?!?!?!?!

We’re gonna let him finish, but Kanye West just dropped some shockingly awesome music news: He may collaborate on an upcoming song with Taylor Swift. Yes, the same Taylor Swift whose speech West infamously interrupted at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. “She wants to get into the studio, and we’re definitely gonna go in,” Kanye told Ryan Seacrest on the latter’s radio show yesterday morning. But what about the supposed feud between these singers? “Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I’m down to get into the studio and work,” West replied. “I don’t discriminate; I don’t have an elitism of music because of how many Grammys or the amount of ratings you get on an album. “If I could be involved in giving people any type of energy, advice in the studio – whether you’re Beyonce, whether you’re Taylor Swift, whether you’re Jay Z, whether you’re Beck – and they can be reciprocal with that, I’d like to be involved with that.” West and Swift were actually spotted chatting and laughing at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, with the former saying the latter told him to jump up on stage . In that same interview with Seacrest, Kanye addressed the controversy that arose when he claimed Beck didn’t deserve to win Album of the Year. He basically took back his diss and admitted that Beck is an artist worthy of respect . Kanye also said voices in his head made him go up on stage and pretend like he was going to interrupt Beck’s speech as well. But he was just joking. We think. 13 Great Kanye GIFs: Best of the West! 1. Don’t Ever Talk! View Photo Kanye is amused at first, but his mood quickly changed. Probably about how he would react to these GIFs. 2. Rosie O’Donnell Leaves The View, Vows "I’ll Come Back"

Rosie O’Donnell announced her departure from The View on Friday, citing the demise of her marriage to Michelle Rounds as the main cause. Today she swore that she will return, but not as a host. Rosie is as famous for controversy as any other talk show personality out there. She’s an outspoken advocate for LGBT rights, who’s never shied away from a fight . But it wasn’t her opinions that forced Rosie from the spotlight this time, it was the end of her marriage. Nevertheless, Rosie is resilient. She’s strong. She’s determined. And she’s vowed to return, holding her daughter Dakota in her arms, saying “I’ll come back and do an occasional crafting segment because I have a hot glue gun and I will travel.” “Thank you. It’s been really fun.” Rosie O’Donnell Leaving the View 2015 It’s not for us to decide why or what the ultimate reasons for Rosie’s departure are, but speculation is fun. Especially since Rosie and Michelle broke up in November, it’s easy to think that something else may have contributed to the reasons why Rosie is leaving the show now. Insiders at the View said back in December that Rosie is tough to deal with . Her first stint on the show only lasted a season before she was asked to leave, and she apparently hasn’t gotten any easier to get along with back stage. She is one of the View’s most notable hosts, though, even though she’s only been a part of the show for less than two full seasons. How she’ll figure in it’s future will be an interesting drama to watch unfold. 11 Possible Replacements on The View 1. Sarah Palin View Photo Sarah Palin won’t dismiss the possibility. She has acknowledged that The View needs fresh blood. 2. Kathy Griffin View Photo Kathy Griffin has a very dedicated fan base. She’s also unafraid of speaking her mind. 3. Will she bring it along with her to The View? 7. Andi Dorfman View Photo Andi Dorfman already has an in at ABC. Will The View give her its final rose? 8. Martha Stewart Out of prison and anxious for another shot in the spotlight, Martha Stewart would bring a lot of television experience. And probably tasty treats. Rosie O’Donnell Confirms Imminent Departure from The View

Rosie O’Donnell is out. Again! For the second time in just a few years, the talk show host has announced she’s leaving The View earlier than expected. According to O’Donnell’s publicist, she will exit the ABC gabfest next week to concentrate on her family, following a split from wife Michelle Rounds. “I can confirm that Rosie and her wife Michelle split in November. Rosie has teens and an infant at home that need her attention,” O’Donnell’s rep, Cindi Berger, said in a statement. “This has been a very stressful situation. She is putting her personal health and family first. ABC has been wonderfully understanding and supportive of her personal decision to leave ‘The View.’ Next week will be her last.” O’Donnell did break from Rounds in the last few months, but chatter around Rosie’s View departure has been growing stronger in recent weeks. At one point, insiders said she was unhappy that Whoopi Goldberg was the lead panelist on a daily basis. The colleagues got into a pretty big fight just a few weeks after they started working together in September. But Variety reports that O’Donnell was peeved when allegations surfaced of Rosie Perez leaving the program , despite the fact that she was only taking a leave of temporary absence. Perez and O’Donnell – who left the show in 2007 and just returned this past fall – are good friends. In general, it’s clear there’s a lack of communication (and professionalism?) backstage at The View. “Rosie is an immensely talented star who comes in each and every morning brimming with ideas, excitement and passion for the show,” ABC said in a statement, adding: “When she told us she wanted to exit ‘The View,’ we respected and understood her desire to put her well-being and her family first. We’re delighted she’s still part of the ABC family with upcoming guest appearances on ‘The Fosters,’ and we know she’ll return to ‘The View’ often with her unique point of view and updates on her work and her family.” So, we can now ask again: WHO SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE VIEW? 11 Possible Replacements on The View 1. Comedienne Wanda Sykes opened up on “The Ellen DeGeneres” show yesterday about her battle with breast cancer. “I had breast cancer…I know, it’s scary,” Sykes said with a short chuckle. The cancer was discovered in February when she was going for a breast reduction operation, because as she said, “I was tired of knocking over stuff.” Sykes said her back was sore and “it wasn’t until after the reduction that in the lab work…that they found that I had DCIS [Ductal carcinoma in situ] in my left breast. Couric Crows: Reagan Unlikely To Replace Grant On $50 Bill

“The old general might still have it in him … 145 years after Appomattox, Grant won’t have to surrender this one either.” — Katie Couric, Notebook, 8-25-10 What does it take to get Katie Couric to root for a military man?  Put him in a fight against the MSM’s great bogeyman, Ronald Reagan. The CBS Evening News anchor devoted her Notebook yesterday to the battle to replace Ulysses S. Grant on the $50 bill with the Gipper.  And Katie left little doubt–witness her concluding lines above–that she’s pulling for the man who’s buried in Grant’s tomb to defeat the president who made Mr. Gorbachev tear down that wall. There is, apparently, nowhere that the liberal media won’t extend its fight against conservatives.  In the meantime, Katie presumably prefers to pay with $20 bills, featuring Dem-party founder Andrew Jackson, rounding things off with JFK half-dollars and FDR dimes. Wonder if, when visiting DC, Couric insists on flying into Dulles, to avoid having to patronize that other airport, named after . . . you-know-who?

Sykes Has No Remorse for 2009 Limbaugh Attack: ‘He’s Just a Big Bully’

It was a performance that even liberal bomb-thrower Keith Olbermann said was over the top immediately after the fact – the May 2009 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, which Wanda Sykes took some harsh digs at conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh.   However over a year later, the comedienne shows no remorse for her remarks about Limbaugh. She appeared on the Aug. 25 broadcast of CNN’s “Larry King Live” and revisited the occasion, which she said she hoped Limbaugh’s “kidneys failed” since he wanted President Barack Obama to fail, even though that part of her attack on Limbaugh was conspicuously missing from the CNN highlight reel.  Nonetheless, King asked her if she went too far, and Sykes said no. KING: You think you went a little too far there? SYKES: Not at all. Not at all. KING: There’s no connect here, right, between here and you, right? SYKES: Probably not. It might be a little speed bump, you know, just a little one. Sykes went on to explain she did get a little pushback from Limbaugh supporters. But, she also made some judgments about Limbaugh – claiming that his brand of conservatism had little to with what was best for society. Instead she said it was all a self-serving measure, taking advantage of “poor people” to hold on to his own wealth. “I did get a nasty note,” Sykes said. “But, you know, who cares, you know? Who cares? You know, here’s the problem: Rush Limbaugh is a filthy rich guy. And he’s playing on the emotions of poor people. He’s telling poor people that, hey, you know, Obama’s going to take this, take that away from you. And really he’s just worried about his own pockets. That’s it. He’s just a big bully. I don’t think I went too far at all.” Sykes’ brief run at late-night talk ended recently. Back in May, FOX canceled her Saturday night show , “The Wanda Sykes Show,” after it struggled in the ratings. However, she has been nominated for two Emmys for her HBO stand up “I’ma Be Me.”
