Rihanna Reportedly Upset Before Canceling Grammy Performance Rihanna’s hotly anticipated performance of “Kiss It Better” off her latest album ANTI was one of several seemingly random last-minute cancellations at Monday night’s Grammy Award ceremony . The singer’s team cited bronchitis as the culprit for Rih’s renege. But with a flawless performance just days earlier and reports that Rih Rih went all Kanye during rehearsals …sources are speculating that there may have been more to the singer’s snub than a medical condition. As sources shared with TMZ : Rihanna was screaming and hysterical before she bailed on the Grammys, but there are conflicting stories about what triggered her outburst. Sources connected with the show, and several sources who were not connected but present at the show, tell TMZ … the singer was loudly expressing displeasure over her rehearsal. They say she was loud and upset and, as we first reported, bailed on the event. I don’t know who this new Extra host is, but ever since they lost Maria Menounos , I just haven’t been able to watch the show the same way — aka on mute, with my sweatpants around my ankles. So as far as I can tell, it looks like justice was served and the Dancing with the Stars producers came to their collective senses and put Lindsay Arnold back on the show in something called the Troupe, whatever the hell that is. I just took a look at the Dancing With The Stars website and noticed that my favorite dancer Lindsay Arnold will not be working her booty in this upcoming season.
