Awful as it is, you may want to watch the video while you can, as it’s already been banned from YouTube once as a result of outrage from civil rights groups. YouTube hasn’t issued a statement as to why the clip was temporarily pulled this morning. While the video is certainly offensive there are millions of hours of offensive footage on YouTube and “Hello Kitty” doesn’t seem to violate the site’s terms of use in any clear way. It’s likely that Lavigne realized some would find the video racially insensitive and is relying on the negative reaction to drum up some publicity for her new single. Avril is no stranger to using stunts to help resurrect her ailing career. Earlier this month the singer staged a fake feud with Miley Cyrus for no apparent reason. What do you think? As much as I hate the live strong bracelet, I always liked that it allowed me to identify the cunts of the world. It was like some nazi regime labelling system to categorize the people deemed bad….. Kathy Griffin and Demi Lovato won’t be going out for coffee any time soon. Asked in a Twitter chat yesterday to identify “biggest douche celebrity” she ever met, Griffin offered up a surprising response, telling the follower: “Probably [Demi] Lovato.” We can only assume she has never met John Mayer of Shia LaBeouf. Griffin didn’t go into detail over her beef with Lovato, but did add that the singer “should calm the f down bout Lady Gaga gettin barfed on.” This is a reference, of course, to GaGa having an artist vomit on her during a performance in Austin this month, a stunt Lovato took open exception to because she believes her fellow star was glorifying eating disorders. Demi suffered from just such disorders as a teenager and checked herself into rehab a couple years ago as a result.
Jimmy Fallon continues to bring the funny night after night on The Tonight Show . This time Jimmy Fallon and Arnold Schwarzenegger spoofed a QVC segment featuring lines from AH-NOLD ‘s iconic movies. Schwarzenegger, introduced as a “renowned foodie,” was overly fascinated with a Slap Chop. Why? Because the fascination allowed him to quote a line from the 1987 movie Predator . “Get to the chopper!” he exclaimed!
