Julie Chen is married to Les Moonves. And this is a rather awkward arrangement at the moment. That's because Chen is a CBS host, likely best known for emceeing Big Brother; and Moonves is the just-ousted CBS President, who was recently removed from his position due to accusations of sexual misconduct. Like we said: AWKWARD! Chen briefly touched on this scandal back when news about it spread, but she hasn't said very much about it since. Until the night of September 13, that is. To close out an episode of Big Brother, Chen signed off in a way that showed support for her husband. It was subtle, yet also obvious, and social media users have A LOT to say about it. See what we mean below… 1. What Did She Say? “From outside the ‘Big Brother’ house…I’m Julie Chen Moonves. Goodnight.” That’s how Chen closed out the latest episode of Big Brother, using her husband’s last name on air for the first time. 2. What Had She Said Previously About the Scandal? “I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the late ’90s, and I have been married to him for almost 14 years,” read her one statement on the topic. “Leslie is a good man and a loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement.” 3. What About on The Talk? This is the only thing Chen told the audience upon her return to The Talk about the scandal hit: “Some of you may be aware of what’s going on in my life the past few days. I issued the one and only statement I will ever make on this topic on Twitter, and I will stand by that statement today, tomorrow, forever.” 4. What is Moonves Accused Of? Forcing himself on to a number of women, kissing them against their wishes, while harassing and verbally abusing them. Multiple women have issued these allegations, saying the incidents took place about 20 years ago. 5. Has Moonves Denied These Charges? Yes, but he’s also said the following: “Throughout my time at CBS, we have promoted a culture of respect and opportunity for all employees, and have consistently found success elevating women to top executive positions across our Company. I recognize that there were times decades ago when I may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances. Those were mistakes, and I regret them immensely.” 6. Courageous Riverdale stars Camila Mendes and Lili Reinhart have lashed out at their body-shamers in the past. Now, for her 22nd birthday, Lili is showing off her body with a topless photo. Sometimes, the best way to drown out the haters is to remind them how amazing you are. Take a look: Cole Sprouse posted the photo that you’re about to see to wish a happy birthday to his co-star and girlfriend, Lili Reinhart. Lili turned 22 years old on Thursday, September 13. “Both the birthday and the gift,” Cole writes. “My little muse,” the 26-year-old actor calls her. “Happy birthday my love.” In the photo, Lili is gazing into the mirror while topless. The photo was shared to Instagram, where of course women’s nipples are infamously singled out for restriction. For the longest time, Cole and Lili were simply rumored to be in a relationship. Gradually, however, they made things official. The two of them play love interests Betty Cooper and Jughead on The CW’s hit drama, Riverdale . And, just last month, Lili gave Cole a shoutout over his birthday. Cole’s birthday was August 4, and Lili posted this photo of him with a tribute of her own. “It seems as if the world would still be a stranger to me, if not for you,” Lili wrote. Lili’s sweet post continued: “I’m so thankful that our paths intertwined to form this beautiful adventure.” Finally, she signed off: “Happy birthday, my love.” That is so precious! We love that their birthdays are so close. Riverdale is a hit for good reason. The teen demogrpahic can watch it at more or less face value, for the relationships — Betty and Jughead, known by shippers as Bughead , being they keystone of fan interest. Adults — or anyone over 25, basically — can enjoy the show for its surreal artistry and for its almost satirical nature. From Cheryl Blossom’s magnificent wardrobe to the peculiarities of Riverdale ‘s setting, older fans enjoy the show in the way that they once enjoyed Gossip Girl and Veronica Mars . It doesn’t hurt that all of the main characters’ parents are played by some of the biggest stars of the ’90s. (Anyone else feel old?) The popularity of Riverdale led to the greenlighting of a related property. The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres on Netflix next month, and we already know that there will be a second season. It will be nothing like the Melissa Joan Hart adaptation, and viewers can instead expect satanism and cannibalism, just like in the comics on which the series will be based. We hope that the stars from both shows — shows which are linked in the comics — will work together on crossovers, even if it’s just cameos. Betty and Veronica play a key role early on in Sabrina’s comics — we wonder if Lili Reinhart will make an appearance.

Now, only a few days later, the 20-year-old Japanese-Haitian star could be destined for a big pay day from one of the biggest sportswear companies in the world. Adidas is prepared to pay the young Osaka $8.5 million a year, according to reports from The Times of London. If this endorsement does indeed work out as planned, it would make this the biggest deal Adidas has ever given to a woman. Osaka’s current contract, which is set to expire this year, is already with Adidas, and is reportedly somewhere in the six figures neighborhood. Naomi has been climbing the women’s tennis rankings steadily since 2017, and her defeat over Williams on Saturday made her the first Japanese-born player to take home a major title. Adidas has not yet commented on the possibility of a new contract for Osaka.

We have shocking news to report from the world of Married at First Sight: One of the couples featured on this Lifetime reality series has called it quits. Why is this so surprising, considering the finale of each Married at First Sight season ends with twosomes deciding to give their love an extended shot … or to go their separate ways? Because this break-up has taken place during the season. Indeed, with new Season 7 installments airing every Tuesday night, Mia Bally and Tristan Thompson* have announced that they can’t pretend any longer. They can’t spend another moment as husband and wife. They are getting a divorce. (*No, not that Tristan Thompson ; not the basketball player who has scarcely met an Instagram model he didn’t want to bend over and simply pound. We’re talking about this other one.) According to People Magazine, Bally filed for this legal split in Dallas County, Texas, on September 4. It shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone who’s been watching Married at First Sight that this relationship has come to a conclusion. It’s only unexpected that Bally is the one who has filed the paperwork. Over the course of the past few weeks, Thompson has been struggling with a few issues from Mia’s past, specificially that she was arrested years ago on a charge of stalking . This information came to light after Mia was detained and questioned at the airport while the newlyweds were set to embark on their honeymoon. Later on, Tristan learned that Bally was still active on a dating app, even while the two were married. That was yet another major bump in the romantic road, but Thompson (on air, at least) had been willing to try and overlook the obstacles and remained committing to his union. That said, there were very clear signs of tension. All of this is piling up, and now I’m sitting here not knowing who I just married,” Thompson said at one point. He added during another scene: “This entire marriage I feel like I’ve been completely honest with Mia, and I’ve told her to just give me the truth, and it seems like she’s gone out of her way to hide things from me. “I honestly don’t know what to feel or what to believe right now. I thought we were done with all the secrets and lies.” Like we said: it’s no surprise these two didn’t work out. We’re just taken aback that Mia is the one to have pulled the plug. But we guess Tristan just didn’t live up to the expectations she had in mind for a husband. “I feel like I lead a simple life,” she said in the past, explaining: “I do go to church every Sunday. “I am part of a Bible study group on Tuesdays. So that’s what I want is a man to lead me closer to Christ, or even a goal, us have a goal together, and he leads me towards those same motivational values that we have.” Oh well. Better luck next time, guys! Married at First Sight airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Lifetime.

It’s been nearly a week since rapper Mac Miller passed away after suffering a drug overdose at his San Fernando Valley home. Though authorities have yet to determine Miller’s cause of death , all signs seem to indicate that he finally succumbed to the substance abuse issues that had plagued him throughout his life. Small amounts of powdery white substances believed to be drugs in the opioid family were reportedly found in Miller’s home. And a 911 call seemed to indicate that panicked friends of Miller were had little doubt as to the cause of his condition. The fact that he was not alone at the time of his death combined with the revelation that Miller had been dead for several hours before authorities arrived led to rumors that there would be an investigation as a result of possible foul play. For now, however, it looks as though police are treating Miller’s death as a tragic accident. “This is strictly a Coroner’s Office case at this time,” Sgt. Barry Montgomery, a spokesman for the LAPD , told Radar Online. “As far as we are concerned, we are not investigating it as a criminal activity.” Officially, the cause of Miller’s death is labeled as “deferred” pending the results of a toxicology report. Fans have expressed shock over the fact that there will be no investigation, as early reports about Miller’s final hours seemed to indicate a chaotic scene. And for many, the length of time between when the rapper died and when his body was found suggested criminal negligence. Witnesses told police that a group consisting mostly of young men was “coming in and out all night” in the hours before Miller’s death, breaking bottles and engaging in other destructive acts. Sources claim several people left the home in a hurry just before police arrived. “They seemed in a rush to go,” claimed one onlooker. Sadly, many who knew Miller best were not surprised by his tragic passing. Miller’s substance abuse issues were a major factor in his recent breakup with Ariana Grande , and she was one of many who implored him to get sober. On Wednesday, Miller’s body was shipped from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh so that he could be laid to rest in his hometown. Our thoughts go out to Mac Miller’s loved ones during this difficult time.
