Against all odds, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie are still together . We’re not sure why that fact continues to surprise us, as it seems that everyone in the couple’s inner circle has come to terms with the massive age gap, as well as all of the other weirdness involved. (Although we’re sure Lionel Richie isn’t exactly dancing on the ceiling about it.) As Sofia and Sofia approach their two-year anniversary, many are beginning to wonder what’s next for the couple. Despite the fact that he never married the mother of his three children, it’s been rumored that Scott will propose soon. However, one insider recently shot those claims down: “Scott and Sofia have no plans to get married or engaged anytime soon,” a source tells Hollywood Life . “They’re both perfectly happy with where they are at in their relationship and are in no rush for anything.” Of course, that’s the short of boilerplate response that often precedes an engagement announcement. So perhaps it should come as no surprise that all the Scott and Sofia wedding talk has given way to an even wilder rumor. Sources close to the couple claim that Sofia has been spending a lot of time with Scott’s three children. And as a result, she’s come down with a major case of baby fever. The first part has been confirmed, as we know from her social media activity that Sofia spends a lot of time not only with Disick’s kids, but with their mom, as well. Photos of Kourtney Kardashian on vacation with Scott and Sofia shocked fans at first, but they’ve since become commonplace. As for that second part — the bit about Sofia chomping at the bit to start a family of her own — well, sources close to the 20-year-old say that’s not entirely true. “Things are great for them now,” says the insider. “Sofia isn’t even thinking about kids as she knows she’s really young. She loves Scott’s kids, but she jokes that she’s happy when she gets to hand them back [to Kourtney] and have her alone time with Scott.” The source adds that Scott’s not all that crazy about full-time parenting, either: “It’s honestly a nice balance for Scott, too. Scott and Sofia do love their alone time very much, and they love to just pick up food and hang in their backyard with friends alone,” says the insider. “Sofia knows she is not anywhere near ready for kids of her own or to be a mom, but she loves playing auntie to her friends’ kids without a doubt. “That’s enough for her right now.” Oh, good. It’s about time something worked out in Scott’s favor. Sarcasm aside, a second source says Scott and Sofia are certain of where their relationship is headed — they’re just in no hurry to get there: “Sofia and Scott have discussed marriage, but they have come to an agreement that it’s just not in the cards for them right now,” the insider claims. “Sofia is an extremely confident woman, and she has a lot on her plate, and right now just wants to focus on her career and enjoying spending time with Scott,” the tipster adds. “But she doesn’t need a wedding ring to feel complete and is very content with how things are in her relationship at the moment.” Sounds reasonable — although if we were Sofia we’d be a little concerned about a dude who’s that afraid of commitment and that fond of his “alone time.” View Slideshow: Scott Disick: Banging ALL of the Kardashians?!
