Norman Rockwell’s World War Two painting “Willie Gillis Food Package from Home” fetched $2.8 million from a private buyer at an auction in Chicago on Saturday, the auction house said. The winning bid for the iconic artwork was less than the up to $5 million estimated ahead of the auction, said Emily Betts Susanin, director of marketing and communications for Susanin’s Auctions in Chicago. The Real Housewives of Atlanta decide there’s just “No Excuse for Excuses” and one housewife walks out the door. Who’s had enough and who will be headed to Anguilla? We recap it all in our THG +/- review. Kenya and Walter head out on a double date with Phaedra and Apollo and things look pretty cozy. Perhaps a little too cozy for Phaedra’s comfort as Kenya bats her eyes across the table at Apollo. Minus 10 . Was it all just about producing a workout video? Perhaps Kenya’s just the flirty type. Phaedra can’t stop admiring Kenya’s breasts. Minus 8 because it’s a little weird that she mentions them multiple times. Of course the former Miss USA certainly likes to keep them on display. Double dates seem to be going around as NeNe and Gregg head over to Cynthia and Peter’s. Peter shares his big secret with NeNe. He wants to renew his vows with Cynthia on the beach at Anguilla. Plus 20 . It really is a lovely thought considering all of the drama that took place at their first wedding. But with the crew they’ve got joining them on this trip, I’m not sure this wedding will be any less stressful. Cynthia’s still ticked off at Phaedra, until Ms. Parks shows up with a huge bouquet and a sincere apology. Cynthia says she’ll forgive but she won’t forget. Minus 12 . If they’re truly friends I think she needs to let that one go. We all got to take a trip to Porsha’s OB-GYN and what a relief we didn’t miss that. Oye. Minus 15 . Porsha and Kordell are given the green light to start trying to make a baby again next month but all Porsha wants to talk about is how to increase her chances to have twins. Minus 9. Thank goodness her doctor has the sense to remind her that after her miscarriage she should be concentrating on having one happy, healthy baby. Plus 12 . Of course it wouldn’t surprise me if Porsha goes home and stuffs herself full of yams anyway. And on a side note, what is up with those earrings. Small dogs could jump through those hoops! The annual girls trip has suddenly become a couples trip and everyone gathers for brunch to discuss the particulars. Here I was thinking that Kandi inviting Kenya along would fill this meal with drama. Who knew I could be so wrong? Now there’s two sides to this argument and I see both. In Kim’s defense, she is pregnant for the second time in a year and she looks like she’s about to give birth sometime in the near future. Minus 10 . Expecting her to hop on a plane to head to some island to party is just unrealistic. If these ladies were gracious they’d just let her out of it. Goodness knows I wouldn’t want to risk having a baby on some small island. On the other side of the aisle, Kim did give them dates and everyone else seemingly jumped through hoops to accommodate her. Plus 8. So I do understand why they’re ticked off. Still it doesn’t seem worth all of the drama. Kim’s life has definitely changed. She’s got two teenaged daughters, an infant, another on the way and a new husband not to mention she just had to move. That’s a lot for anyone. So when the ladies started to pile on, Kim had had enough. Kim walked out and I don’t believe it was just brunch she was ditching. This may be the last we see of Kim. Minus 25 because surprisingly, I think I’m going to miss her, blonde wigs and all. Episode total = -49! Season total = -133!

Shakira recently posted an adorable Instagram photo of herself rocking no makeup, an adorable baby bump and one content boyfriend, Gerard Pique. Here’s the cute, expectant couple at home today: The new Voice mentor, 35, and soccer player Gerard Pique, 25, sure look happy. “I could have another nine months like this,” the Colombian singer wrote. He got Shakira pregnant earlier this year. She announced her pregnancy September 19 via Facebook. “Shakira is really looking forward to being a mother,” a source close to the international superstar said. “They definitely want more than one together.” The “Tortura” singer will welcome a baby boy. Shakira and Pique met while in 2010 shooting the video for her World Cup theme song, “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” Shakira will join Usher as a new mentor for The Voice Season 4; the musicians, who have already begun filming, will fill in for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. In the meantime, she’ll go on being effortlessly attractive, even while pregnant. Some stars.

Kim Zolciak is leaving The Real Housewives of Atlanta , but not before she argues with NeNe Leakes one final time. The rivals recently went back and forth on Twitter, with Leakes claiming Zolciak was fired by Bravo and Kim saying she left on her own accord. Now, Zolciak tells In Touch Weekly that she will, indeed, star in yet another spinoff on the network. This one won’t be titled Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding , but it will still center around Zolciak and her family. “It’s going to a fun, lighthearted show about our crazy everyday life,” Zolciak says . “My amazing husband is doing awesome in the NFL, we’re building a home, we have a teenager, a tween and two babies.” There’s no title yet for the series, nor is there a premiere date. We love Atlanta, but tha A sure ain’t what it used to be… Bravo Greenlights 3 New Atlanta Reality Shows Via AJC Atlanta is already home to several reality shows: “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta,” “Auction Kings,” “Big Rich Atlanta,” to name a few. Bravo, home to “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is acting all BET on us by setting up three more reality shows here, all variations on the same theme of rich women generating drama and conflict. One we already know about: it’s the continuation of Kim Zolciak’s life, post “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She had a successful spinoff earlier this year about her wedding. She’s currently taping her second spinoff. (Her final appearance on “Real Housewives” is set for this Sunday.) Here’s the press release description of what you can expect from her series (working title” Don’t Be Tardy,”) which certainly would not surprise anyone who has been following her travails with her family. (Her dad last week called her a “pathological liar” and her mom filed a claim to try to see her grandkids.) Season two follows Kim and Kroy Biermann in the next phase of their marriage, which involves the demands of their ever-growing family, purchasing their dream house, and a possible adoption. The pressure is on as Kim tries to resolve extended family issues and manage the renovation of their house all while juggling being a loving mother, a caring wife and staying in the limelight. The other 2 shows will focus on the more “professional” side of the ATL. “Married to Medicine” follows a group of successful and educated women, including doctors and wives of doctors, who are connected to the world of medicine in Atlanta. Whether delivering babies in Louboutins or rushing off to galas in Buckhead, these women do everything with style, drama, and of course, southern flair. “Taking Atlanta” tracks the city’s next-generation movers and shakers as they make their mark in the glamorous arenas of fashion, music, hospitality and real estate while enjoying the city’s sizzling social scene and balancing the demands of their tumultuous family situations. OMG. Jessica Hay says Kate Middleton is pregnant. Everybody stop the presses! Who is that and should we believe her? Jessica Hay is an a childhood acquaintance of Kate’s, and she spilled the beans to Australian tabloid New Idea. According to Jess and the mag, the Duchess is expecting! Like for real! “They’re planning to make an announcement in December. William and Kate are focused on starting a family ,” Hay says, corroborating Kate’s recent (supposed) weight gain. Hay says Kate Middleton’s pregnancy will be the first of two. No more. “It seems very traditional, but of course they’ll be happy with boys or two girls, they don’t want more. They’ve discussed it endlessly and don’t want to be older parents.” Jessica Hay has been a celebrity gossip staple for some time now. In 2010, she claimed Kate told her about her engagement before anyone else, and predicted that the wedding would be “sometime [in the] next year.” Astonishingly, she was correct! The Royal Wedding WAS IN 2011! Her track record of cashing out Kate gossip to the media doesn’t end there, either … making one wonder how or why Kate would possibly tell her if she were pregnant. But, Hay, at least she didn’t leak any Kate Middleton bikini photos .
