Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill married Martha Patterson in Charlotte, N.C. His bandmates – brother/singer Caleb, brother/drummer Nathan, and cousin/guitarist Matthew, attended the wedding Saturday, which also saw Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman married . “Marrying my best friend today,” model Patterson wrote. “I’m the luckiest girl in the world.” “Today, I get married . It’s the biggest step I’ve ever taken,” Jared tweeted. Jared Followill is the fourth and final member of the band to get hitched. Caleb Followill married Victoria’s Secret supermodel Lily Aldridge, 26, on May 12, 2011; they are parents to daughter Dixie Pearl, 3 months. Nathan Followill tied the knot with singer/songwriter Jessie Baylin, 28, on November 2009; they are currently expecting their first child. Emily Maynard and Jef Holm can’t catch a break from the tabloids. Last month, it was Emily supposedly cheating and getting caught sexting another man. This time, The Bachelorette winner is accused of paying him to stay engaged to her. A source close to the couple denies those claims, of course. “Everything is fine between them. They are a great couple and the wedding is definitely on,” the insider says, laughing off reports that the engagement is now a “business deal.” “He has moved to Charlotte and is living in an apartment and they are really making a go of things. They are being sensible about their relationship … there is only so much you can learn about someone over the course of the show, so they are getting to know one another better.” “They are being smart about everything. He adores Emily, and is very involved in Ricki’s life. They are happy. There are no problems between them.” The source also adds that Jef Holm would never take money from Emily Maynard ; not only is that patently false, he has far more than she does anyway. “His family has so much money. It’s beyond ludicrous to suggest that he would be making some sort of financial deal with Emily.” So, there you go. Holm beat out Arie Luyendyk, Jr., and Sean Lowe this summer to win Emily’s final rose on The Bachelorette. ABC named Sean Lowe The Bachelor this week. Emily Maynard and Jef Holm: Will it last? Yes! Jef’s the one! Emily made a great choice! No. She should’ve picked Arie. Or Sean. View Poll »
Oprah has been killing it with her “Next Chapter” interviews and in her latest one she asks Usher point blank whether or not he was a cheat who got caught creepin’ during his marriage to Tameka Foster. Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Usher Raymond IV who speaks publicly regarding the custody battle over his two boys, addresses accusations of infidelity and answers the question — do you make love to your own music? Winfrey’s exclusive interview with Usher will air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” this Sunday, September 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Here’s some excerpts: Usher addresses the custody battle and cheating accusations: OPRAH: It’s nasty fighting over children, isn’t it? USHER: It is very nasty. And there is no winner in any fight. OPRAH: So many things were said, accusations made during this whole battle. She accused you of cheating with one of her bridesmaids. I think you said she spit on you. Is there one that hurts you the most? First of all, were you faithful to her? First Look: Was Usher Unfaithful to His Ex-Wife? In August 2012, the three-year custody battle between R&B superstar Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, came to a dramatic close. Now, for the first time, Usher opens up about the verdict and accusations of infidelity. We’re gonna go ahead and take a bet that Ush is honest this time. After all we’re talking about Oprah. Hopefully he admits he screwed some women while married, but we’re doubtful he’ll own up to screwing Grace — who is probably the puppeteer behind this whole public Confession in the first place! First Look: Why Usher Called Off His Wedding Usher’s relationship with his now ex-wife, Tameka Foster Raymond, played out in the tabloids for years. In the summer of 2007, the couple made headlines when they called off their lavish Hamptons wedding hours before the ceremony. A week later, they exchanged vows in the office of Usher’s attorney. Watch as Usher tells Oprah why he had second thoughts about their marriage. Why Usher called off his wedding: USHER: And I say I’m kicking myself in the butt because I always felt like maybe we weren’t ready. OPRAH: Oh. USHER: And maybe this wasn’t the time or the way to do it. And, you know, part of that I think played into the demise of it. OPRAH: Okay, okay, let’s stop right there. USHER: Yeah. OPRAH: You’re spending a million dollars on a wedding and you’re kind of not sure. Really? USHER: Yeah. This just seems horribly timed to us. Tameka just lost a young son, then he took away her two youngest. Clearly this guy has ZERO heart at all. No wonder people aren’t checking for him musically anymore. Clearly Grace thought it best he do some damage control after that horrible custody battle but is this really the time? When the mother of his kids is still mourning the loss of one of hers??? First Look: Usher’s Bedroom Confessions It’s something Oprah says she’s always wondered about: Does Usher, an artist known for his steaming hot videos and sexy song lyrics, make love to his own music? His answer may surprise you. Does Usher make love to his own music? OPRAH: So here’s a question I’ve always wondered. Have you or do you make love to your own music? USHER: (Laughter.) I love that. You caught me. All right. Some may say this would be rather narcissistic. OPRAH: Yeah. USHER: But, yeah. What do you think about Usher going on “Oprah’s Next Chapter”? Was this the right time? Do you think he’ll be/has been honest? Are you even checking for him still? The full interview airs on OWN Sunday September 16th at 9pm EST.
Kim Kardashian Compares Divorce To Cancer Kim Kardashian seemingly does 20 interviews a day. She’s just so popular. So it makes sense that every once in a while she’ll say something that makes our brains explode. Today, she told the Guardian that she understood how a cancer patient felt because she also went through something traumatic: her divorce from Kris Humphries. SMH. “… [W]e decided to film for the wedding,” she says. “And that was a decision that [Kris Humphries] and I made together. But I think that, with any decisions in life [brace yourselves], like, I spoke to a girl today who had cancer and we were talking about how this is such a hard thing for her, but it taught her a big lesson on who her friends are and so much about life. She’s 18. And I was like, that’s how I feel.” No. No. No. No. That’s NOT how you feel. At all. However the cancer patient feels. You don’t feel that way. At all. We promise. You’re excused.

If you ask most people what has been the cheesiest band of the last decade, you’re probably going to get a whole lot of Nickelback coming your way. So when I heard that Canadian pop-punker Avril Lavigne was going to marry Canadian douche-rocker Chad Kroeger, I vomited ever so slightly. What is wrong with this chick? If I had known she was into talented losers, I would have proposed to her months ago. I bet there will be a Nickelback song at their wedding, everybody says they hate the band, but there’s always some douche rocking out to a Nickelback at every single wedding. Ugh. Read all about it
If Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ever do get married – which first would entail Kim getting divorced from Kris Humphries – we can think of someone who will not be included on the wedding guest list. In a recent interview with XXL Magazine, 50 Cent was asked about Kayne’s new track, “ Perfect Bitch ,” which the rapper has admitted was penned with Kardashian in mind. “If that man feel like she’s perfect, then she’s perfect,” Fiddy replied. “He could mean it and you’ll end up singing the words to it because he’s Kanye.” And then the artist provided this kicker: “You know how it is? One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” Whoa! Hello! Zinger… served! As you study yet another Kim Kardashian Twit pic , sound off on 50 Cent’s evaluation: Is Kim trash or treasure?
