‘Jersey Shore’ star says judge’s comparison was ‘overboard’ By Kelley L. Carter Snooki in court on Wednesday with her publicist Photo: Bobby Bank/WireImage Is Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi the new Lindsay Lohan? Fuggetaboutit. The Associated Press reports the “Jersey Shore” breakout star, who was in court Wednesday, was fined $500 and ordered to perform community service after she pled guilty to disturbing New Jersey beachgoers. Judge Damian G. Murray lectured Snooki, calling her a “Lindsay Lohan wannabe.” The 22-year-old reality starlet was arrested July 30 for public intoxication. She has since apologized, and was credited by the judge for the day of community service she spent caring for abused animals at a zoo. “Going through life rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent — that’s not the way you want to live your life,” the judge said while delivering her sentence. “Hopefully, this incident will impress upon you that there are consequences to your actions.” Snooki tells People magazine the judge’s comparison to Lohan missed the mark. “I definitely thought it was harsh,” she told the magazine. “I never drank and drove, I don’t do drugs — I do nothing that Lindsay does, so it was definitely a little overboard.” With that said, Snooki’s ready to move on. “I’m just really happy that it’s over and that the criminal charge was dismissed because that was just insane,” she says to the magazine, referring to the disorderly conduct and criminal annoyance charges. “I was really nervous about it. … That was crazy for me.” Snooki and her “Jersey Shore” castmates will be presenters at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards. Who did 9/11 – Osama bin Laden, Bush Or Mossad? Israel’s role in 9/11

Over three hours of mainstream documentation of Israel's involvement in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. Mark Dankof and Nashid Abdul Khaaliq join the program as we discuss the “anomolies” surrounding the act of war against America that took the lives of 3,000 people on September 11 and more importantly Israel's role in bringing this all about which led to the war on terror. This issue is not going to go away any time soon so deal with it. Israel played a central role in the attacks of 9/11, and all of the evidence suggests that Israelis, not Muslim cave dwellers. carried out the attacks, and then used the media and US government to pin the blame on the entire Arab Muslim population of the world. This is being covered up by the mainstream media's inventing contoversies like the Ground Zero the Cordoba Initiative, and the Koran burning pastor who is a complete nobody, yet is given top billing on the nightly news. . added by: maasanova

Duke Pulls College Republicans Funding

The Duke University College Republicans lost its funding five months after it impeached its chairman because he is openly gay. The student senate Wednesday voted overwhelmingly to defund the organization for the academic year, according to the Duke student newspaper, The Chronicle.Student senators were shown discriminatory and harassing e-mails Wednesday night that Justin Robinette and his supporters received. The senate also voted to revoke the group's charter, but that decision must be approved by the Student Organizational Finance Committee. Robinette said earlier this year that the executive board decided he was unfit to serve as chairman because of “conduct unbecoming of a person in a position of leadership,” including failing to attend events and using the group’s funds for personal use. Robinette said the charges are “petty” and the situations in question occurred before he was unanimously reelected in March, a month before the abrupt impeachment. added by: TimALoftis

To Sawyer, Not Raising Tax Rates Means a ‘Tax Cut’ as She Frames Debate Through Liberal Prism

If your income tax rate stays the same next year, would you consider that a “tax cut”? ABC anchor Diane Sawyer sure seems to think so. Adopting the Obama/Democratic spin as fact, that maintaining the same income tax rates in place since 2003 constitutes a “tax cut,” even though taxpayers would pay the same amount on the same income, she led Wednesday’s ABC World News: It will be the big battle to the finish line in November, and this is the question: How big a tax cut will you get next year? In her very text sentence, however, she incongruently, but accurately, recognized Obama’s wish to return rates for some to their pre-2003 level would constitute a hike: “And should taxes increase on the wealthiest Americans?” The subsequent story dealt only with Obama v Republicans on income tax rates for 2011, and a FICA tax cut is off the political table, so Sawyer must have been talking about the income tax, not any FICA rate change. Sawyer’s no rate change equals a tax cut thinking matches the reasoning from liberals who fret over the “cost” and “paying for” continuing the rates set in 2003, as if all the money in the economy is the government’s, and so not letting the Bush tax cut rates expire – maintaining the status quo – means a “tax cut.” Sawyer opened the Wednesday, September 8 World News: Good evening. It will be the big battle to the finish line in November, and this is the question: How big a tax cut will you get next year? And should taxes increase on the wealthiest Americans? We have an exclusive interview with the President tonight. He walked into the lion’s den today, challenging Republicans on taxes and the economy. The Republicans, quick to fire back. That interview with President Obama amounted to an Obama soundbite from an interview conducted by George Stephanopoulos which will run on Thursday’s Good Morning America.
