Miranda Lambert didn’t exactly love Ashton Kutcher’s get-up at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. Was Ashton Kutcher making fun of country or is it just me? Watching it back now and I’m kinda wondering? the beloved country star asked about Kutcher presenting an award at the event, while donning a giant cowboy hat and belt buckle. But whatever tension may have existed between the stars is now gone, as Lambert Tweeted the following photo of herself and the Two and a Half Men star at a pre-Kentucky Derby charity event Saturday night: “Here it is y’all. He is sweet and lives country music! For real!” Miranda wrote along with the image. It’s nice to see this pair getting along. As for Lambert and Chris Brown ? We probably shouldn’t hold our breath for a similar type of detente.

Give Patricia Krentcil credit where due. The New Jersey woman, now known as Tanning Mom after her arrest for (allegedly) letting her six-year-old go tanning with her, knows how to take a joke. Kristen Wiig’s impersonation of her on Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update news segment this weekend was “well done,” she told the New York Post . Tanning Mom conceded, “The whole thing was hysterical.” Tanning Mom Saturday Night Live Parody During the sketch, a charred-looking Wiig likened Patricia Krentcil to a Slim Jim, and later “Wile E. Coyote right after something’s blown up in his face.” The 44-year-old Krentcil, who pleaded not guilty to felony child endangerment charges last week, was not nearly amused after Snooki called her crazy .

The Avengers faces a tough battle if they want to top Katniss and company’s expected $400 million domestic earnings. Katniss and company’s cumulative gross is currently a whopping $601 million worldwide, after raking in $11.2 million in the U.S. and another $7.4 million overseas this weekend. Standing tall at #4, the dystopian franchise’s weekend dip was 23 percent, which is the lowest decline yet for the movie (its second weekend in theaters saw a 60 percent drop), according to Box Office Guru . And it wasn’t far behind third-place “The Lucky One,” which earned $11.3 following its second weekend. It looks like the assembly of Earth’s mightiest heroes won’t even be able to stop Katniss’ estimated goal. With “The Hunger Games” sitting comfortably with a domestic total of $372.4 million, it’s going to take more than Thor and his mighty hammer to bring “Marvel’s The Avengers” to the top. If “The Hunger Games” can rake in $400 million domestically ( like box-office experts predicted ), it would outperform the first films in both “Twilight” and “Harry Potter.” As audiences gear up for the highly anticipated Marvel film, only time will tell what this weekend will bring the first film in Katniss’ franchise. And as far as the success of a sequel since Gary Ross is no longer on board to direct, it isn’t something Josh Hutcherson , who plays Peeta, is particularly worried about. “Gary, I think, brought so much to the movie, and he created that whole world that was so close to the book and so perfect in so many ways that it’s going to be hard for Francis [Lawrence] to come in, for sure,” Hutcherson told MTV News at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. “But Francis is extremely talented and everyone I’ve talked to says he’s the best guy in the world. UPDATE: Finke’s estimates were dead-on: “Think Like a Man” earned $12.2 million on Friday, which could push it over $30 million for the weekend. Directed by Tim Story, “Think Like A Man” has been tracking very well despite little mainstream press acknowledgement. Earlier this month, Vutlure reported that “Man” was the “best-testing film in Hollywood,” with screening audiences giving it almost unanimous praise and approval. The romantic comedy stars Romany Malco, Meagan Good, Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy and Kevin Hart, who could be “Man’s” not-so-secret weapon. Actress’ rep insists former ‘That 70s Show’ co-stars are just friends. Well, her rep is addressing the rumors and shutting them down. “They’ve been friends for years, and they had dinner with a bunch of friends,” the rep told Celebuzz . “They’re not dating.” The rep continued to Usmagazine.com that there’s “definitely nothing going on there” and that “three other people” were with the twosome when they went out to dinner. According to People.com , those other friends included “70’s” co-stars Wilmer Valderrama and Laura Prepon. The former castmates will all be on hand this Sunday during Fox’s 25th Anniversary special. The friends without benefits were spotted furniture shopping and chowing down at a sushi joint for dinner in Studio City, California, over the weekend. They also were seen later hanging out at his L.A.-area bachelor pad. Adding fuel to the dating-rumor fire was the fact that Kunis tried to hide from photogs by riding in the backseat of his car. “Ashton was touching Mila’s hand, and Mila was all dressed up,” observed an X17 Online photographer who saw Kutcher and Kunis at the Japanese restaurant Asanebo. Whether or not the “Two and a Half Men” star is dating Kunis, it seems his dance card has been quite full lately. Kutcher’s also been romantically linked to Rihanna , who later denied anything was happening between them, telling reporters, “I’m happy, and I’m single.”
